We had a typical dog incident; during that process, the owners and staff were incredible (as always)! They show respect, authenticity, action, and follow-through. This daycare is great because there aren't shared toys and extra items that often help spread normal canine viruses, etc. The concern about Kennel cough can happen with any dog anywhere because the vaccines are not 100% effective on all strings of viruses, but I will say that this daycare takes extra measures by not having shared toys that can increase this risk.

They always come home happily exhausted from the fun they've had. I also use them for boarding and have been very happy. I love that PAD is cage-free, and that Sophie and Oliver can stay together in a nice, spacious room with their own beds, blankets, and toys. The boarding cost is all-in and includes daycare so by the end of the day, the pups are worn out and ready for sleep making the "boarding" less stressful for them. I can't imagine going back to boarding where they are cooped up 24x7 except for a couple of walks each day. The team responds quickly to messages requesting updates during boarding, which is very much appreciated, and they go out of their way to post pics on Instagram so I can see Soph & Oliver while I'm away (see pics below). I do pay a few bucks extra for exit baths when they board, but it's well worth it after a week of playing ALL day. They come home fluffy, clean, and very happy after their "vacation." If you're looking for daycare or boarding, owned and staffed by dog lovers, definitely check out Play All Day. I have a daycare/boarding facility less than five minutes from my home, but I feel strongly enough about PAD that I'm happy to drive the extra 20 minutes to get there.

Ive spent a couple hours on the phone with him where I've been brow-beaten his mantra. I like his mantra-no shock collars, train the person and not the dog, etc. But he talks so much and feels the need to continually sell himself and his school that you can't actually schedule the training. I have no doubt he's probably a good trainer but I'm guessing I'll never know. Don't call unless you have countless hours to spend on the phone and a stiff drink in your hand.

Very Disheartening…read more As a business located in Franklinton, Ohio, Play Pets management should be incredibly saddened. This morning I stopped in their empty parking lot for 1 minute to pack a bag and give a local homeless women socks, toothpaste, and other essentials. When I left my vehicle to deliver the bag I was immediately confronted by a staff member yelling that I couldn't park there. I acknowledged his concern and reassured him I would be back in 30 seconds tops. Nonetheless he continued to yell and threaten to tow me. Making the situation more absurd, after a minute of nonsense back and forth, I apologized and agreed to move my car 50ft to the next door gas station. I proceeded to deliver the bag to homeless women in 30 seconds. I am sure this is not the brand image and empathy a local business wants to portray, but it's only fair the community know what type of people are taking care of their loved pets.

We decided upon Animals R Special. Why? Let me tell you: We found this practice to be exactly what that particular puppy needed. Full service, exceptionally trained vets, who are also empathetic vets, exceptional support staff, and also a practice that is willing to titer vs push vaccines/unneeded procedures. We bring in Wanda. She was treated so well and the communication between vet and client so nice; when I got home I told my husband, "we are switching all of them to this practice" they are extraordinary. And that is exactly what I did today. Today we brought in our 12.5 yr old dog Mo. they knew he had anxiety so they prepped in advance for him. The entire exam was on the floor, with lots of love, cuddles, good boys, and peanut butter treats. He was like a completely different dog. Showed near zero anxiety. Thats the kind of vet I want. One that goes that extra step. They confirmed he was in fact super healthy, his teeth fine. The previous practice kept saying he had cancer and at one appt suggested amputating his leg due to cancer (which btw, he doesnt have, it was a lipoma. Aka fatty growth) and wanted teeth extracted (which I thought was odd as he had no problem eating kibble.). So glad we didnt listen to the former practice as Animals r Special confirmed he is completely healthy and needs none of that. Loki comes in next week. So: if you want an honest vet, that goes the extra mile for your animal and really knows what they are doing.... You have found the right practice. 100%. We have seen both vets at this practice and recommend both the doctors. You cant go wrong with any of the ppl here. Seriously, Animals R Special is the winning place to go to because at this practice the vets/staff here are more than special, they are extraordinary. And that is what we all want for our furry friends.... The best!

When the site itself advertises for working class dog owners. I mainly looked at this location because it's close to home and on the way to work. The owner judged my dog before even getting to know him, saying how he has too much energy for himself and his staff, then remarking how he looks "Pit." Wouldn't let other staff come in and greet my dog who is a 3+ year old black lab, very friendly, enjoys being chased and playing fetch. It's disappointing that I can't even board my dog because this owner is biased. Doran's canine college in new Albany has secured my business and will continue to do so.

I had anxiety about leaving my little boy at a Doggie Daycare and my first impression of the facility was not great. However the love and affection the couple here have for all of the dogs is apparent. I tried an overnighter to see how my dog would respond and he had a great time. When I picked him up he was happy and tired. They take the dogs on walks, allow them to have play time and provide lots of attention and treats. All for one fee (not additional charges for everytime they pat your dog on the head). Each time I drop off my dog now he is excited to arrive. He behaves as though he owns the place. Uncle Keiths is no frills, it's a place to take your dog where they will be loved. I highly recommend it!

6/17/2025 Took a sample of stool and jar with live "worms"of some type to Lifetime Pet Wellness…read moreCenter this morning at 9:00 am. they said lab would let us know this afternoon. We had to call at 3:30, and they said we wouldn't have an answer for 2 to 3 days. In the meantime, our dog has infestations of worms, and they had not only no clue, but no suggestions as to what to to until the 2 or 3 days. Now, I can't imagine they have never seen this in all the years we have been going there (over 13). So am I happy with their response...... what do you think? I am so disappointed, I will most likely find new vet clinic. If you have an urgent issue....these people are not responsive in my opinion.

Beware of their new boarding fees. They are now charging a full day regardless of how long your…read moredog is there. This is completely different from the past 2 we boarded in the last year. This time I was charged $90 for less then 24 hours!!
