A year ago I wrote my review about this place. Their front staff is rude and will pull out some charges out of pocket at the last minute after you schedule surgery. Hear me when I say, do yourself a favor and cancel. That's what I should have done. I am still receiving bills from them. I have told them I won't pay them anymore money than I already have and yet they continue to bill me. It's a small amount but , now its the principle of it all. Medically speaking, no complaints. Premier Periodontics I have been a patient of theirs for at least 15 years. Between the hygienist and myself, we have kept my gums healthy. In general, I think they are good dental providers, but I had an unpleasant encounter with them several months ago that made me question their ethics. At my last appointment, I went to see Laurie, the hygienist in the Mercer Island office for a semi-annual scaling, which she has been doing for over 10 years. We had no problems other than I found her to be cold. Not a problem for me. Instead of cleaning, she did a surprise examination. She scheduled a 4-hour appointment over a 2-day period which resulted in her booking me for an invasive and painful $8,000 procedure. I told her I would have to postpone the appointment because I was not physically capable of enduring a difficult procedure because I had just returned from a month's long hospital stay. I needed some time to recover from that quite traumatic event. I called the office to schedule my routine scaling because she didn't do it at the last appointment. The receptionist said Laurie would not do the routine procedure until I had the surgery. Laurie refused to continue my care because I had postponed the very invasive surgery she recommended. From then on, she would not take my calls and blocked my emails. They just cancelled our relationship with no explanation. I was an ideal patient, always showed up on time, did all the homecare recommended and paid my bill on the spot. No one in the office in management would talk with me. I find this treatment so unkind and unprofessional. My late husband was an outstanding physician for 50 years and my son also had a long-standing medical practice. This kind of treatment would never have happened in their fine offices. On several occasions I asked for an explanation with no response, even though I said I was not seeking reimbursement. Simply a courtesy call from Laurie or their Management. I consider this treatment very out of line and worth warning other patients their focus might be more about making money than providing service. read more

You will be charged for services that were not performed. Bad Front desk, so very rare chance that you can resolve any billing related inquires. The doctor couldn't perform the procedure and was asked to go to another specialist but still ended up with heafty bills. read more

They may be very good medically but customer service response is bad. I called and left message that was never returned. After several weeks I placed a second call and spoke to someone with a promise to call me back after checking with dr, Again I had to call back over a week later only to be told to go to my dentist for something the periodontist prescribed. My first writing a review or complaint. It's a bummer that I didn't get to see their doc that was highly recommended. The clinic's scheduler/ reception/ customer service is so horrible. So upsetting and frustrating! The doc is only at this clinic on certain days, with my busy schedule, I tried to work it out. I have canceled and rescheduled, but they were going to charge me almost $300 for it! ( never heard of this!) When the scheduler told me this, I thought I needed to think about it, I said I would call back. My appointment was the next day, I didn't call back cause I was just going to use my lunch time from work to get to this appointment, I did not need to reschedule or cancel. So I got off work, didn't have lunch, went to the clinic only to find out that my appointment got canceled. They did not hear me back to tell them to cancel, but did it anyways. The lady at the reception wanted me to reschedule and of course she would have to collect the $300! So I told her, I'll go somewhere else. Why can't they be flexible with scheduling? And why do the have to collect money for changing the schedule?! read more

Today I reluctantly paid $185 for literally 10 minutes of service. My dentist, of 30 years, recommended Dr. Toloue at Premier Periodontics on Mercer Island for a "deep cleaning" service. I was told that I would need a full examination before any services could be performed and understood that it would take about an hour. After waiting 20 minutes in the dental chair, Dr. Toloue came in with her assistant and checked my gums. I could see on her computer that my dentist had already shared my x-rays and records, including my recent gum check. I was then given a standard form outlining the costs and plans for my deep cleaning. Total time in their office was maybe 30 minutes. As my wife had booked the appointment, she called back to discuss my frustrations and the costs. She was told there would be no negotiations regarding the $185 except for a small discount if we paid the full amount by check instead of with our HSA card. I then called their office and was told that Dr. Toloue wanted satisfied customers and that they would discuss my situation. I never got a call back and then the bill showed up in the mail. What happened to happy customers? Where is an email address on their website? To be clear, I am not happy and I don't feel that I received a full examination, explanation of the process, nor anything worth $185! I will not be visiting Premier Periodontics again. read more

One star because of the Bellevue staff. Aggressive and rude when I called to inquire why they had not issued a refund for a double payment they received. Patient paid, and then clinic billed the insurance company. The insurance company paid and the clinic did not send a refund to the patient. Patient's representative had to call the clinic and ask why a refund had not been issued. Learned during the call that the insurance payment was issued nearly a month earlier and that indeed the clinic did owe a refund payment. The clinic did not explain why they had not issued the refund payment yet, and wanted to "confirm" the patient's address to send the refund check. The clinic has been sending bills to that address for months. Once patient's address was confirmed, the clinic stated it "may take a month" before the check is received "because the mail is slow". Clinic and patient are both located in Bellevue. Snail mail from one Bellevue location to another Bellevue location is typically one day. As good as the doctors may be, my recommendation is to consider other treatment clinics. read more

Redmond Office. Referred by our dentist for crown lengthening (shaving the jaw down to expose more tooth on a molar) and gum exposure. They seriously underrepresented the pain of the procedure and during recovery, and my daughter was crying in severe pain through the procedure and couldn't eat or sleep for days. We had told them she needed extra pain relief, didn't respond to small amounts of anesthesia and had high anxiety about pain from past experience. We specifically informed them she preferred to be knocked out completely, but when we arrived for the procedure they did not have any anesthesia set up for her, just locals. Afterwards, they sent us home with instructions for just Ibuprofen and Tylenol. Seriously inadequate pain relief. Then when I called the next day to request prescription pain relief, I had to go to their Bellevue office because there was no doctor in Redmond that day. Then they gave us just 6 pills, for just 36 hours, because (Dr told me) they decided to reduce the amount prescribed per patient out of fear of opioid dependency in the general population (regardless of the amount of pain, or type of procedure). Luckily I had leftover pills to tide my daughter over, and after 3 days she was off them. Would not recommend them to anyone for their unreasonable approach to pain control both in procedures and afterwards. They don't listen to their patient's history and concerns re pain relief and anxiety, as apparently they've decided to allow their patients to suffer unnecessarily because a small segment of the population has a dependency problem. read more

I was a patient at the Everett office. I always paid after my visits. After my last visit I realized that they had charged me for bone implants. I tried several times to explain I never got bone implants. I even went to the office for ex rays to prove that I had not received the implants. I was charged over a thousand dollars for this. I have called the office several times to request a repayment. I was told that they would not refund the money and that they wouldn't even do the implants that I paid for. Very poor customer service and I am not happy to give away over a thousand dollars. I would not recommend Premier Periodontics because they are not honest or trustworthy. read more

I had a very good experience with Dr. Dkeidek who removed a tooth and installed an implant on the same day. It was my 1st tooth pulled as an adult and I was nervous. They gave me a pill and of course numbed the area and I DID NOT FEEL A THING! I was amazed and thrilled! read more

They seriously under estimated the amount my insurance would pay for the treatment and sent a very misleading statement. I ended up paying more than double the estimate. If you choose to use their services make sure you know exactly what you'll be paying. read more

Waiting time has always been short. I have found their dental professionals to be well qualified and caring. I have always been fully satisfied with the quality of their work. Dr. Dkeidek is very kind and communicates thoroughly and thoughtfully. I'm happy with the results and my general dentist is satisfied with the results as well In my many visits at this location, many of his staff to include those who work with clinical duties, had been consistently aloof and unfriendly. The ancillary staff at the Redmond location seemed more congenial during my two visits there. It's a further distance so logistically much less convenient, however, when I was treated more kindly by everyone there, it made it worthwhile. read more

You may have a reasonably good experience with the clinical side but what they tell you may differ from the business side,i.e. the hygienist may tell you a particular service is included with a bigger procedure but the business office may still bill you for it,so take your chances if you must. read more

I've come here now for two gum graft procedures and have had an excellent experience both times. Dr. Dkeidek does a wonderful job, and him and his staff are friendly and welcoming. I've been pleased with the results of both procedures and the care taken post-op. Would highly recommend. read more

Like some of the other reviewers put as well, my review is not about the doctor, Dr. Issa is very thorough and I had no problem with my implant procedure at all. My review is on the coordinator's estimates, I discussed the estimates in Redmond office, and the line item for bone graft was quoted as $300+ if I pay out of pocket without billing insurance, going through the insurance it will be $569, still I thought after insurance cover portion of it I will ended up paying less out of pocket, so we agreed on billing the insurance first and if there is issue with ins. then reverse back to the $300+ w/o ins., and as the others stated as well they underestimate the ins. payout so collected up front from me way more than need to be. And after the ins. payout I noticed they denied the bone graft portion so asked them to reverse to $300+ as we agreed, and now they are saying they have to use a different "billing code" so it's still $550, and what "billing code" they need if they are just collecting cash from me?? anyways now they denied they have quoted me $300+ and said there is no "paper trail", of course I did not thought I need some paper proof for $200 I just trusted them to honor what they said. Well so be it no biggy, for $200 they lost my trust I hope it was worth it for them. read more

Before pulling the tooth out, an assistant brought me a paper to sign. It had a wrong tooth number. When I pointed out that it's the wrong tooth, she told me to sign anyway because she can correct the number later. What do you think? And while discussing about the next appointment at the check out, another assistant complained to me that I am willing to send only so little money on teeth. It is because I do not have that much money. This conversation was heard by other patients in the waiting area. read more

Dr. Swoboda put me at ease when I had to get a gum graft a few months ago. The procedure itself was almost fun - laughing gas and a movie make the process pretty bearable - and their up-to-the-minute surgery techniques meant I made a good recovery. My whole family has been to this office at one point or another, and we would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a periodontist. read more

I had a tissue graft in March of 2012. Dr. Swoboda and her assistant, Katrina, did a wonderful job putting me at ease throughout the procedure. I was supposed to arrive a half-hour early to take some anti-anxiety medication, but I arrived late and opted not to take the medication. Dr. Swoboda and Katrina did a wonderful job helping me relax, and an amazing job on the procedure itself. It is only day 2 after the procedure, but I am experiencing little to no pain or swelling. I have undergone three oral surgeries in my life and this experience has been, by far, the greatest. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

Will S. Fernyhough is the worst. I went to him a few years ago to have some receding gum tissue resolved. He did the surgery and I actually look like the before photos on their brochure. Not the After. I went back to them multiple times and they said it was the best they could do. I have had pain and I don't even smile where you can see my gum line. Don't go there, They are awful. They said they would re-do it, but it would cost more. read more

My wife and I had used them for a few times but not any more. Somehow, we thought they were high-quality, as my dentist give us referral every time, but we realized we were wrong after we tried other professionals. Now, we found lots of extra unnecessary charges they have put on bills for the simple work and their work-quality turned out to be not as high-end as their charge amount. They even charge you $100 for giving you an estimate, while all other 3 places I did shop-around gave me estimates for free. We didn't realize we had been ripped off. I learned that you should always shop around even if your dentist gives you a referral. read more
