I'm a working professional with a not-so-perfect smile. In fact, my smile has bothered me for my entire life. The bottom teeth are pretty jacked up, the front aren't as straight as I'd like, I have what I call a narrow "crocodile smile", and I have a crossbite. Now that I have a great job with solid benefits, I decided it was time to fix it! I was referred to an orthodontist in Scottsdale (not Premier) for a free consultation. I told the doctor there that I wanted (needed?) Invisalign, but he said that "you would be the most difficult case I've ever done" and that it was not an option for me. He said in no way will I be a candidate for it. He said I needed a palate expander in my mouth for three months (ouch...), followed by at least a year of traditional braces. He did not give me any other options. I reluctantly listened to him. I mean, he had experience and who was I to question it? Enter Premier Orthodontics. My identical twin brother (who also wants to fix his teeth) visited Premier a few days after I had my consultation with the Scottsdale ortho and, during his consultation, Dr. Coles at Premier told my brother that he was a candidate for Invisalign. My brother called me after the appointment and was like, "Hey bro. I'm getting Invisalign and you're going to have traditional braces! What gives??!" I thought, "Wow.. if my twin is a candidate for it.. why did this other doctor say that there's no way I can get it?" Freaking out because I had an appointment to put in a palate exander (see: torture device) in my mouth the next week with the Scottsdale ortho, I called up Premier and told them my situation. They IMMEDIATELY scheduled me to come in, literally within the hour. I had my consultation and Dr. Coles said that I was definitely a candidate for Invisalign. Dr. Coles even showed me the Acceledent technology, which will speed up the process by half!! I was ALL IN. To think, Dr. Coles actually listened to my concerns! The entire process was amazing. Becky, the technician, was awesome and used a really cool 3D camera device to take photos of my teeth to send to Invisalign. Stephanie was awesome at further explaining the process and making me feel comfortable. Everyone at Premier was kind, and the lifetime guarantee makes me confident that I'll not only enjoy the process along the way, but I'll enjoy the end result for the rest of my life. My trays come in soon and I can't wait to start Invisalign! I highly, HIGHLY recommend Premier Orthodontics. They were the "second opinion" that I needed. But hopefully, for you, you'll make them the only opinion you need! No more torture device for me. :) read more

At our final visit, Dr. Triggs's behavior was so rude and dismissive that our child left the office in tears. Our experience with Dr. Triggs has been consistently disappointing. Each time we raised concerns about my child's orthodontic treatment particularly that her teeth still appeared crooked and that we did not feel she was ready to have her braces removed our questions were met with defensiveness rather than clear explanations or reassurance. After the braces were removed, my child was unhappy with the final appearance of her teeth. When we asked reasonable questions about the outcome and what options might be available, Dr. Triggs became rude and dismissive. Rather than taking the time to educate us or address our concerns professionally, he told us, "You can go get an opinion somewhere else." Families should feel comfortable asking questions about their child's care without being made to feel like a burden or treated disrespectfully. Orthodontic treatment is a significant investment of time, money, and trust, and patients deserve a provider who listens, communicates clearly, and responds to concerns with professionalism. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this office and strongly encourage other families to carefully consider their options before choosing treatment here. read more

We had such a pleasant time coming into the office , the sweet girl at the front "Amber" was amazong so polite and welcoming! We had a consultation and met with Jahaira Rios and she wa every thorough with our concerns, especially with the financial part for getting braces for the kiddos ! They got us in right away that day and we were even offered a nintendo switch ! They told us they will let us know when to pick it up ! I went here for two years and just got my braces off! During that time, I noticed a lot of turnover with the techs, and I was a little nervous when a new orthodontist came in toward the end of my treatment. To my surprise, everything went super smoothly. They picked up right where things left off, and my teeth turned out great! Super rude. We called and the girl was nasty to us. Was asking about a retainer check and she snottily replied "we don't do those, go to your regular orthodontist". We don't have one, hence why we called. Don't call yourself an orthodontist office and then be snotty when asked to do your job. read more

The staff does not greet you or introduce themselves. They just put you in a chair and start working. The atmosphere is short and rude and when you ask questions they act like you're bothering them. My original orthodontist practice merged with them and I was used to a warm and welcoming environment, but this has been very discouraging and I wish I never started this process. read more

Place is too pricey for Ortho. I've had braces before and I had to wear them longer than this and it was a lot cheaper. My teeth weren't as bad. I just wanted them super straight. They told me I would have my braces for only ten months. I ended up having to wear them for a year and a half which kind of upsets me because I didn't expect to wear it that long. They also told me I'd wear retainers that would go to the back of your teeth and wanted me to get the platinum coverage which is way more expensive. By the time I got my braces taken out, I ended up just getting Invisalign because that's what they told me to get instead. I wish I would've known better and not get the platinum coverage which I had to pay extra for no reason. I ended up not getting the retainers anyways.. My insurance covered $1500 and I paid about 4 grand out of pocket. I should've searched and looked at other places to see which Ortho had better pricing but I was in a rush to get braces.. That was my fault.. Other than that people that work here are super friendly. read more

Please do not trust this faculty, waited for the prior authorization for my inveslign , was told it would take 6 wks , called at the four week mark to fins out the status, the office manager Monica, states that she would have her prior authorization people look at it , heard nothing and then called back at 6 wks to find out that they submitted to the wrong insurance ( I have no other insurance I have ever used but the one on file) . No accountability and when asked about the process the office manager was more defensive about the process than making it right. What a waste of time !!!! read more

Seriously the best experience EVER!! I went to California and lost my retainer. When I got back, I contacted my normal orthodontist to have it replaced. They were making it very difficult for me to see the orthodontist and giving me a very hard time, so I decided to try someone new. Premier was one of the first that came up when I search orthodontist in my area. I gave them a call and explained to the scheduler what had happened. He was able to get me in on Thursday which is the day I really needed. When I went in, it was quick and painless. I didn't have to sit there and wait goop in my mouth. They scanned my teeth, which took less than 5 minutes and I was on my way. When I told them how long I'd been without my retainer and how worried I was about my teeth getting jacked up, they were able to pull some strings and have my retainer to me same day!! I'm in love!! Love this place. Took very very good care of me. Needless to say, I'd recommend this place to EVERYBODY! I'm absolutely taking my boys here when it's their time. THANK YOU GUYS! read more

The office staff is always friendly and helpful and they are usually running in time. Both my husband and my son have received treatment from Dr. Coles and we feel like he does a great job and offers a fair price. The office set up makes it easy to wait for my son because they have movies playing, iPads for the kids to play on, and water and chocolate chip cookies if they need a snack. read more

My son had an appointment there. The first appointment we had to cancel due to him being sick. The second visit I called to cancel because my car would not start. I went to Premier Orthodontics for a "free" consultation. When I completed my paper work before the appointment, I had to give them my insurance information. I talked to a orthodontics assistant and then the orthodontist. The assistant was great. She was pleasant and cheerful and went over every thing in detail. At the time I went, there was a flat free for orthodontics and you had to sign a contract promising to pay that amount. I was considering invisaligns and wanted to think about it as well as contact my insurance company to verify that they were covered under my plan before signing the contract. A day or two later I contacted my insurance company and they said that I should have Premier Orthodontics submit a treatment plan so they could determine if I would be covered. When I contacted Premier to request a treatment plan, they said they could not/would not provide one. I contacted my insurance company again to see what I should do, and it was then that they told me that Premier had already filed a claim for orthodontic treatment for $900! I was really upset because I had not signed a contract and I not had ANY work done. They hadn't taken impressions or put any sort of braces in my mouth. It was then that I decided not to go with Premier Orthodontics. But what was worse was getting them to withdraw the claim. When I contacted the billing office they said my insurance company had made the error. Even though they were the ones who submitted a claim for payment? Then when I pressed them on the fact it was their error, they were completely unapologetic about it and said that they wanted to leave my account as-is for when I began treatment. I told them based on this experience I wasn't going to use them for treatment and I wanted them to cancel the claim. They kept saying they were going to cancel or withdraw the claim, but it kept showing up on my account, and eventually my insurance company paid the claim! I had to get my insurance company more involved and they contacted the practice to get the money back. So yeah. That was my experience with Premier Orthodontics. read more

If I could give 20 stars I would! Now don't get me wrong, I always have a pleasant and beyond exceptional experience with my office but this last visit took the cake for me. And it was all thanks to GIGI!!!! I have never had the pleasure of having her work on me since i started my treatment and i don't want anyone else now lol She was gentle, engaged, attentive, she even complimented my dental hygiene! She connected with me and addressed all of my concerns, she was extremely knowledgable and had amazing energy! She showed me what to look forward to in my next treatment and was just a delight. The staff here is awesome. I work across the street and they have sponsored events at the school (where my kids go as well). Always friendly so I decided to check them out. Not only were they upfront and they were quick to tell us they didn't want to take our money right now. They sent us home and had us come back months later. Having braces myself as a kid this was a change as they slapped them on me as soon as they could. My son broke tons of brackets and here they care, but they are positive and talk to him about it, it has gotten less and less. I plan on taking my daughter here in a year when she needs braces likely. I would recommend Premier to anyone! read more

The practice is pretty typical, offering cookies, slurpees, and more. They went through the whole schpiel on what to expect with a focus on how 100 underprivilege will receive FREE braces. WOW! Maybe that justifies why they charge 10-12% more than the other orthodontist in the same area. They're also Premier Elite, so there's that. In the end, I didn't need upper braces. I am missing a tooth in my bottom teeth and the practice didn't address that so I went somewhere else. read more
