You dont have to leave your car. They offer you refreshments while you wait and for your trip. Every step of the way they show and explain what they are doing. Rip off. Dealer is half the price. They try and upsell everything. I had no time to get into dealer and was leaving on an emergency trip so basically paid twice as much for convenience. While on the road to LA from the King County, WA area last year, we noticed a softening/fading in the brakes on the car by the time we hit a small town just across the CA border called Yreka. We found a Les Schwab (Look for review) to take a look at the brakes before heading the rest of the way to LA. On the way back we decided to get the oil changed and have the fluids checked as this car isn't our daily driver and headed back to Les Schwab in the same town. Since they don't do oil changes they recommended a "jiffy lube" type establishment called Premier Lube run by Chevron. We drove in and they want you to stay in your car while they change the oil etc. I got out as I like to see what is happening to my car. The prices were lower than Jiffy Lube or Grease Monkey. The staff was much friendlier than the locations I frequent back home, but they up-sell the hell out of their other products almost to the point of making someone uncomfortable. They like to have you in and out in 10 minutes and so it is a type of up-sell where you have to make a Now or never decision and as you watch the "inexpensive" alternative to jiffy Lube skyrocket into Jiffy Lube pricing, you almost feel a sense of "Dammit, they got me!" However, 5 quarts of synthetic oil, the oil filter/change, a new air filter, a rear differential service, an engine treatment and an oil system treatment a price of $155.12 didn't seem too bad considering the oil change alone at Grease Monkey is $129.99 and they don't even carry the filter. For those of you saying you don't buy into "up-selling" good for you, but these guys are good at it, for those of you saying you want to give this place a try, they are a "chain", but only have 4 locations and all are in CA. Stephen and Trey were our technicians and they were patient, answered all my questions and didn't mind taking a little extra time with me regarding my car even though it was the day before Thanksgiving and we were there a few hours before closing. I would highly recommend this place if you live in the area, are coming through the area or if one pops up in your King County neighborhood. read more

This place is awesome! The staff: Phil; Steven; Gabe and Kenny are all very attentive and professional. I have been going here for years with many vehicles. Each time I leave feeling great and more safe. I love the top offs and help, in between oil changes. Everyone is very service-oriented, and respects my budget (or lack thereof) when offering products. The hot chocolate on these cold days really helps. I'm on my way for windshield wipers tomorrow. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes and I am always greeted with a smile and a complimentary beverage. They are always courteous and professional.
