Service was quick and fast for a walk in. She was nice and courteous. I found stuff to be clean. Prices were high and it was $45 for a spa 30 min pedicure. But she got done much sooner with the bubble gadget not working unfortunately (to help with the water). I shared with her couple times to take off some of the accumulated dead skin, but she she shook her head and but didn't do it. Unfortunately the for the price, the quality was not as expected. If I could give this business zero stars I would. First, they tried to charge me $90 when walking in for dip when it clearly said it was $60 on the price list. She then did not remove my original dip and told me it was OK It was supposed to have the base layer- she didn't remove anything!. After dipping in powder my nails are extremely thick and bumpy, but the kicker was when the top coat was put on and she proceeded to put it on layer after layer - when there's only supposed to be one and there are globs all over my nails. I asked if I could do it myself because they were so bad. She globbed it all over!!! It's been two hours and they're still not dry because she put so much. The manager wrote me and asked for pictures of my nails and said they are having issues with their products and supply And asked fixed them but She refused to refund my money. This place is horrible. We were over charged, $120.00 for mani and pedi and the polish only lasted a few days. More insulting was Tiffany, the owner. We gave a $20.00 tip and she was angry about that and yelled to the back of the store, "they only gave $20.00 is $10.00 ok for you and me". She should not have gotten anything but she was incredibly rude and what she did was uncalled for so, we left owing $140.00 for bad work, dirty environment and a rude owner. She should be grateful we paid so much. All the chairs were empty but us and one other lady so that should tell you something! I definitely hate to be the person leaving a bad review, but it's disheartening when you try to make things right with a business and get a negative response: I came to this salon as my normal place was closed and I needed a last minute set before going on a work trip. Within 20 minutes of leaving, I had a tip break on one of the nails (which I thought was weird but hey, life happens), so I drove the 15 minutes back to have them fix it. Unfortunately, the next day before I even got off of my flight, another tip broke and a whole nail popped off! I literally have had acrylics for YEARS and never had this happen. THREE nails didn't make it more than 24 hours. When I called to see what we could do, I was told to come back again to have them fixed. Unfortunately, being out of the state for work for a week, I explained I wouldn't be able to do that and would have to get a new full set here. I was told they do not do refunds or any type of service credit, but maybe could offer a "small discount" next time I came in for a full set. Sadly, I won't be going back and would not recommend the salon to others. read more

I went to this place for the first time Wednesday. I called in the afternoon for a full set. It's barely been 72hrs and half my set is gone. I went in for a fix on Saturday but they only had one acrylic technician that could fix them and someone had already been waiting. Upon telling the front desk my nails were broken another woman in the waiting area also said she was there because three of hers had broken in under a week. I expressed to her that I had been doing no more than putting a shoe on and one popped off and she said the same had happened to her. They say they'll fix for free but don't do refunds which is ridiculous and I assume because this happens so often they'd lose their money. My pedicure by Hannah was good and that's all that the second star is for. I would not recommend this place as you will spend days fixing your nails. read more

Love this salon! I'd never been to this location but have been to the Mercer Island one and much prefer this one I came here on a whim a few weeks ago for a pedi and my toes looked GREAT. I just went back for a mani pedi and was totally satisfied with the service and quality of the outcome. The ambiance is wonderful- clean spacious and relaxing. They don't have the largest color selection but hopefully will expand soon with some more fun colors (they have plenty of pinks, reds, and neutrals). Today I had a customer at my work take a picture of my nails because she loved them so much. I have received countless compliments! I got this set done before leaving on a cruise for Mexico and surprisingly, they survived the trip! I arrived a little over an hour before close and felt at first unwanted but could've been me projecting since it was my first time there and I'm an awkward mess ha but I ended up getting acrylic nails with ombré dip powder on my fingers and a chellac pedicure on my toes. The water for the pedicure was perfect temperature and the overall service was incredible! I didn't specifically pick my polish color for I was not asked but surprisingly the color my artist picked for me was perfect! The service consists of your basics plus hot stones which was a pleasant surprise. The woman who did my manicure however seriously impressed me. She took her time even though she easily could've done a sloppy job since it was nearly closing time but instead she took the time to ensure that my nails were groomed to perfection. Wow, I paid $55 dollars for a regular pedicure, and when I got out of the dim lighting, and outside in the sunlight, there was polish on my skin, missed areas of the nails, and my skin around my big toes was dry and cracked from the water. It was an older woman so maybe she doesn't see well? I had another appointment so I couldn't go back in to have the disaster fixed, but I warn you not to use this shop. Now I know why I was the only customer in there. I fixed them at home but it's disappointing right before a vacation. Wow! It's very rare for me to be impressed by nail salon but I definitely had to write a 5 star review for this place. My friend recommended that we go here as it was close by. When we entered there was a sign to make sure we would use hand sanitizer, followed by an employee taking our temperature. We got settled down to our pedicures where the seats were protected by large plastic anti-splash screens. This heightened sense of safety and hygiene made me feel at ease. Everyone was really lovely from the moment we walked in and I was wondering if it was just fake however, the longer I spent at the salon the more I realized how lovely everyone truly was. Being Vietnamese I normally don't disclose that I can speak and understand the language, which often results in me hearing techs saying hurtful things about customers or me. Not this salon- my tech lady was absolutely wonderful. I finally disclosed that I was Vietnamese and it was met with such warmth. The pedicure was great. The nail tech paid a lot of attention to detail and I felt like I was taken care of. Being Australian, I sometimes have a hard time tipping for just lack luster service but I made sure I tipped well as I was so blown away with how lovely this salon was. No problem getting the time we wanted. (12pm) Came in and had both done at same time. Air conditioning plus world cup and great attentive service. Comfortable pedi chairs and pamper atmosphere. They even asked as we started if we were on lunch break, and they had us out an in hour. ( wasn't expecting that- nice to ask!) Parking is easy- right in front of building. Pricing is normal for Bellevue. Tons of color options and for shellac they have baskets of different brand swatches. Cdn , opi, etc. I like that it's a big space, so you feel like its a spa vs pedi chairs crammed in next to each other. And its private feeling even if it is right on Bellevue Way. read more

Even they did not know that I am a Vietnamese and fully understood what they were talking about, they did NOT talk about customers (including us and others). Being a Vietnamese coming to a lot of nail salons, I consider this is a BIG PLUS. I had some very UGLY experiences in the past when I came in to Vietnamese owned nail salons where the technicians talked shit about their customers most of time. I needed a quick quality manicure for an upcoming wedding and what I got was a very marginal one. My nails were long and cut super short and uneven. The white is uneven and choppy. She did a callus remover, like a leg and foot scrub, lotion, warm towel, trimmed, shaped and colored my nails. My skin feels so soft and moisturized, my polish is on point and the best part was she took her time massaging in the scrub and the lotion. So relaxing, most places just rub it in and it's over with too quick but she really took her time and it felt phenomenal. Now the fill, they did it at the same time my pedicure was going on which I like cuz saves me some time sitting in the salon. And he filed, shaped, and painted my nails to perfection. I was so tired of my previous bellevue salon Levue nails and decided to try this place out. I payed 98$ for a shellac mani pedi with poor polish application. Again so tired of these salons not having a list of prices out. That's how they get you. I asked ONLY for a shellac mani pedi-nothing extra. But apparently if you don't say exactly what you want and DONT want, they will do what they please. Poor polish job, polish touched my cuticles and was not neat at all. Painful buffing, my feet stung as I would dip them in the water. The hot towels were so concentrated in laundry detergent I could smell it the whole ride home. Not a lot of options for colors either. It took so long for everything when it shouldn't have. I didn't give a tip and was asked repeatedly for one after I had already signed my receipt. I kept asking do I HAVE to give one? every time she insisted. For that price I told her it's already included. Way too expensive! I kept trying to relax but both manicurists kept talking the entire time. Once I got in my car I realized I had a polish stain on my finger. Great. Never again coming back here. read more

It was clean and everything was fine until we got the bill...$256 for that?!?! What a rip off. I will go somewhere else that doesn't overcharge. They charged me $20 a person for getting gel instead or regular nails. Prices were not posted and I was not warned of the surcharge for gel. I would have made different choices if I know! There are places that are just as good if not better nearby that have a better price. Premier is my go to nail salon. I get acrylics and of all the nail salons I have visited in Bellevue, they do the best job. Ivy does amazing each time on my nails, from precise fills to gentle removal and placement of a new set. She is patient and works with me when trying to choose a color. I have only received a few pedicures here, a pedicure in itself is always lovely, I do wish that they would get my feet a bit softer. They take walk-ins and appointments, though they do get busy so an appt is recommended. read more

When your 10 year old sister looks at your nails and goes "I think I could have done better..." then you know its bad... It's almost laughable that they consider themselves professionals- if I could give this place ZERO stars I would. For the record I'm not even the slightest bit annal about these sort of things! It's just THAT badly done... 1) My old nail polish was not completely removed prior to polishing. 2) You can SEE that old nail polish under the new polish where the manicurist FAILED to apply nail polish onto a giant side of various nails. 3) When I asked her to cover up those places missed, she painted over that 1 missing spot, and instead of fixing it, made it worse by creating visible layers on my nails. (you can LITERALLY see the layers- like- WHHHHHAT?....) 4) And after she was done, I continued to look over my nails to make sure that there were no other nails of mine that were missing nail polish. You know, just to check. Like any normal human being would right? WELL...as it conveniently turns out I was there with a friend of mine- a VIETNAMESE friend- who understands VIETNAMESE just fine... You reading this TRAN and MARY?- mostly TRAN though... They proceed to complain about how we are investigating each and every one of our 10 fingers and how we SOOOOOO picky. With them talking badly about me and my friend- saying how we are ridiculous and droning on and on about how "they are not robots"- as if we were making them slave their lives away. Let me just start with: I have no sympathy for people like that. FIRST...maybe make sure the next people you apply your terrible services to doesn't understand you? Would probably help you out next time yea? SECOND...robots. What the actual hell? Sorry that you screwed up on 4 out of 10 fingers- and that's just on me. My friend had plenty of other fingers that were terribly done as well. SORRY I've taken it upon myself to double check on the other fingers? ROBOTS...maybe if you had done your job correctly we would not have had to have you fix almost half of our nails? Ever occur to you? No? Never thought about that?... Yea sure, we called them and complained about how we were unhappy. They offered to redo our nails blah blah blah. But in the end- did we really want to go back in and risk a 50/50 chance of having our nails actually come out good or not? No. We did not. Therefore, writing a review was the only other option. Best of luck to anyone else that frequents this "nail salon". I will be taking my business to La Petite Belle Nail Spa off of Main Street where they actually CARE about their customers.
