I had already cut a small section of the ceiling below to assess what happened. The used a Wingtite Shower Drain Replacement, which installs entirely from the top. The older of the two then said there wasn't enough room to build a p-trap. He said he could do 1" pipe and it would fit between the floors. When he finished the p-trap was completely below the plane of the ceilings drywall. I told him this was unacceptable. He rebuilt it, but we still had to shave a significant amount of drywall from the ceiling patch. I would NOT recommend Anderson Plumbing

Chris charged the system and encouraged questions. He stressed how important customer service is to him and his boss and any questions I had were not interfering with him. After the service was complete, he offered to bill me and I told him if I could use a card or check I could pay right now. He said card or check was acceptable and we settled up right there. It will be 95 degrees tomorrow outside but inside my house it will be a comfortable 68 degrees thanks, in part, to Chris and F & S Williams. No reputable company should be pushing costly upgrades without clear, verifiable justification--especially not to vulnerable customers. Shame on Summers for what appears to be predatory behavior. Last…read moreSummer I had my entire plumbing explode underneath my house and Roto-Rooter came out to replace all of it. To start with the copper pipes were replaced with modern ones because to replace them with more copper was more expensive. That was fine. They couldn't mix and match so all of it had to be the new type. They took all of our copper piping which actually was worth quite a bit. On at least two occasions the pipes were not tightened enough so water was shooting underneath our house costing us about $600 in water bills, both times. When I had them change out everything they sent one guy to do the work of three. He also was one of the ones that accidentally did not tighten it correctly and had to come back to tighten it again. The pipes were changed out but he unhooked our boiler thinking that it was hooked up incorrectly and then after realizing that he had made a mistake hooked it back up. Unfortunately for us it was hooked up incorrectly and our boiler almost exploded, according to the company that installed it initially. It cost us $1,000 to have it hooked up again. So right there is $1,600 on top of the $5,000 I spent to have all of the piping changed. Now the washing machine when it drains somehow bubbles up in the sink, when my bathtub drains so does my toilet, and we just realized that our sink underneath in the kitchen is rusting out and dripping water which somehow no one seemed to notice when they changed out the piping. They told us it was no big deal under there and that it would dry. Instead we discovered today that it is leaking underneath it with standing water. We are supposed to have a 3-year warranty. One of the times they said they couldn't find our warranty. Luckily we had a copy of it. Another time they said that it was nothing that they had done and it was not covered under warranty even though we did not have a problem with it draining in the sink or the toilet before they did this work. I'm assuming they will come out here and tell me that the leak under the sink is not their responsibility or under warranty either even though they told us it was fine​. I don't ask for much. But I do ask for competency and for quality and for my warranty to be honored. I've written reports on this job before and I'm writing it again because of the fact that we just realized that it is literally leaking underneath our kitchen sink and this is the last straw. I am not taking this down this time. They have cost me over $1,600 in additional fees to the $5,000 that I paid to fix everything and we have problems we didn't have before. We called them initially because they were 24/7 and our pipes were bursting underneath our house and we needed someone immediately but I assumed that everything would be done professionally. So finally in the end they are either going to honor the warranty and fix this leak underneath the sink or I'm going to have to go through a completely different company and spend even more money thanks to roto-rooter. Let me just say that before this I thought the name Roto-Rooter was a professional company and that it meant something. I don't feel that way now. By the way when I called to tell them about all of this they apologized to me but that doesn't do anything for the money that they've cost me and for the problems I still am having. One last thing. When we had them out here because of the bathtub drainage with the toilet and the washing machine drainage in the sink they told us that had to do with our sewage lines and not anything they did but that's amazing because we never had that problem before they changed our plumbing when we had our copper plumbing. They originally were going to charge us $200 to even look at it until my Yelp review made them come out here and honor the warranty they supposedly couldn't find and look at it for free only to turn around and tell us that it was nothing they had done. I looked at the reviews (all five stars) and decided to contact them to get an estimate. Andres responded in a matter of minutes and was onsite at my house providing an estimate within the hour. The estimate provided to install a new irrigation system was more than fair and extremely competitive. I told Andres I wanted to get a couple more estimates from his competitors and he understood. I was pleasantly surprised that Andres requested the opportunity to further improve his quote should a competitor submit a lower bid. The work done by AG Irrigation was completed on time with high quality and no additional cost or surprises. My irrigation system was quoted to be completed over the weekend and it was completed on time despite a lot of rain that Andres and his Team needed to work around that weekend. The Team finished the irrigation system on a Sunday because of an abundance of rain Friday and Saturday. Despite the rain setback to their schedule, AG Irrigation did not ask/charge extra for working Sunday because they committed to have the work done over the weekend. The irrigation system is extremely easy to use and works flawlessly. Andres and his Team aimed all sprinklers to my satisfaction, walked me through the configuration settings, and made sure all debris was cleaned up around my yard before they left. Andres even did a backflow test of the completed system and filed it for me with the city of West Lafayette for 2024. Finally, Andres reminded me of my one year warranty on the entire system and told me to call him directly if I experienced any problems. I could not be more pleased with the work done by Andres and his Team, and I know that I have increased my property value by $5000 - $10,000 by adding this irrigation system. I do not normally give Yelp or internet reviews of my service providers, but I feel compelled to do so for AG Irrigation because the work performed by Andres and his Team was outstanding.
