They always find the best deals and make pricing affordable for me. And all their repairmen that have been to my house have always been respectful, kind, and will go beyond the limits to show they care. And checking up on me to make sure all is going well for me is a comfort. In my opinion, Blue Fox is the #1 HVAC Company in town! I cannot recommend them enough--they deserve more the 5 stars. He does careful work, is fair in his pricing (if he isn't sure that he made a correct diagnosis and repair he will wait a week to bill and he has even billed me for half a service call for tiny jobs), gives good advice, is trustworthy, and has a very reassuring manner (many plumbing calls involve at least some degree of panic!). The only negative is that he is busy so if you have water gushing NOW he probably won't be able to get there in time. He also does not do emergency night and weekend jobs any longer.

Had a problem with our AC unit not cooling. After a lot of self-troubleshooting, i narrowed it…read moredown to my unit freezing up which usually happens when the refrigerant is low. I called F & S Wiliams at about 4pm and explained what was going on and they saif were going to send someone at night. I told them that wasnt necessary and I got a call from the technician the next morning and he was promptly at my house. Chris showed up and was professional and courteous. I explained him what i knew and what I had tried and he was able to run a few tests and diagnose that the system was freezing up. He explained to me the cost of refrigerant and offered to put that price in writing. I said that it was not necessary because F & S had been a good service for me 9 years ago when another company in town improperly installed my AC unit. Chris charged the system and encouraged questions. He stressed how important customer service is to him and his boss and any questions I had were not interfering with him. After the service was complete, he offered to bill me and I told him if I could use a card or check I could pay right now. He said card or check was acceptable and we settled up right there. It will be 95 degrees tomorrow outside but inside my house it will be a comfortable 68 degrees thanks, in part, to Chris and F & S Williams. I have used them before and if needed, I would not hesitate to use them again.

I am fairly conflicted on how I feel about Peterman Heating and Cooling now Peterman Brothers…read more I have used them multiple times over the last few years. Initially I called them as my AC was out and they came out and found that it was the capacitor. They didn't have the correct one my unit needed in stock, so the tech offered that he could wire two together that would "work". If I wanted the correct part, it would cost an additional $100 dollars just to order it, plus the cost of the part. The next time I had an AC problem, I called them again and the gentleman fixed the problem and offered me to join their membership program. The pricing is fair and it includes two check ups a year. He also told me that they do not charge a $100 fee to order in parts as the previous tech had told me. Yesterday was my first check up. The gentleman they sent was very nice and said my condenser might need more coolant, but he wasn't sure they would need to send out a repair technician, he was only a maintenance technician. So today another very nice employee came and checked my unit and said yes, in fact it could use additional coolant, and he gave me the price. I was quite shocked by the price, and looked up online the typical pricing for the type of coolant that I needed and it was a third of what I was being quoted. As I don't believe everything I read online, I called another HVAC company for a quote and they about a fourth of the price per pound. So there it is. Very nice service people, super duper over priced on coolant even if you are a member of their service plan and that was with my discount :(
