Have been a customer for 25 years. After this years contract is up , I'm switching to 2 other companies . One for yard maintenance and one for tree maintenance ! When Bellingers was owned by Randy Bellinger , things were done right and taken care of responsibly . Since then , their service has lacked integrity and professionalism . We had new plantings in front of our house and asked that they not be over grown and on top of each other, but after 2 years of growth, they are all over grown into each other and looks a mess. They said it would not be over crowded !!! Wrong !!!!! We also had a 22 year old tree die on us , a red oak , due to the lack of responsible action by them. Please think twice before hiring them for your landscaping service. Thanks. read more

If I could give a negative star I would. Customer service is horrible. Not only did they no show at least a half a dozen appointments this summer (from small town about 45 minutes away so no other option). Ryan didn't show for his appointments and when he finally did, he didn't fix a minor repair to a pipe that feeds into my pump properly and ended up ruining my irrigation pump. Then I couldn't get anyone to show up for an entire month. Then they came when I wasn't home and charged me for 5 hours of work (which I have no way of verifying because I was not home and did not authorize anything). Got a bill for almost $1,200 and my pump still doesn't work. read more

We've had excellent service from Bellingers over the last few years. They have pruned tree limbs, removed trees, installed a retaining wall and done some other landscaping. Most recently, they removed some huge limbs that fell from rotting trees, and then removed the remaining trunks. Their work crews are prompt, work hard, and do the most amazing cleanup. They even used a leaf blower to get rid of sawdust in the woods! When the tree limbs came down suddenly last week, we called Bellingers immediately. The clean up around the house was complete within 48 hours. Great people, great company. read more

We used this company to repair our lawn and hillside. I chose them to do the work because they were a local well established company. The work involved laying new sod and rebuilding the hillside which included planting English Ivy. I was disappointed with the work that was done. There are low spots in the lawn where the new sod was laid. However, the biggest issue is the English Ivy does not match the existing English Ivy on the rest of the hillside. I called Randy Bellinger after it was planted and told him the color did not match the existing English Ivy. When we spoke about the color difference, his response was "I thought all English Ivy was the same." Seriously? Anyone can see the color difference. Certainly a person with his experience should have noticed the difference. It was clear to me by his comment that he had a total lack of concern about matching the color of the existing English Ivy. I expected more from an local well established business. I do not recommend his landscape services because he will not stand behind his work. read more

Our first experience with Bellingers, around 9 years ago, was good. They put in a lawn for us in our backyard. The second experience, a few years ago, was slightly worse; we had them remove a tree for us, and then a few months later put in a lawn in the area where the tree was. They hadn't properly removed the tree roots, and then tried to charge us extra for tree root removal when putting in the lawn. However, they backed down from that in the end. In both occasions, the lawns have turned out lovely. Our third experience has been horrible. We need a new lawn put in front where the city has removed trees, and Bellingers couldn't be bothered to come out and give us a quote, despite repeated phone calls from us, and promises from them and new dates being given for when their quote person will come by. And when we'd call again, they'd act like they had no knowledge of our previous phone calls and previous appointments they'd made with us. We have better things to do with our time than twiddle our thumbs at home on weekdays, waiting for landscape contractors who repeatedly never bother to show up. After the fourth phone call, and fourth broken promise from them, we give up, and will be taking our business elsewhere. Sad, because they used to have good service. read more

Yesterday, Bellingers removed a large pear tree in my front yard. The three workmen worked very hard and were very careful not to damage other trees, split rail fence, and mailbox. Their cleanup was absolutely amazing. Yard, driveway, and street were free from any debris and leaves. We were just amazed at the professionalism and quality of work performed. read more

I have used Bellinger's for landscaping and tree services. Over the span of 5 years I have had Bellinger's plant a dozen trees on my property, install 4 very large landscape beds, treat my Ash tree and prune Maple trees around my house.
