From first contact -- which, should add came in about 10 minutes after I contacted them inquiring…read moreabout an estimate -- until the job was finished, Joe and his crew were everything you would want in a builder. We hired Amity to replace a deck that was pretty much falling apart. Joe rightly told us that the understructure (joists) were not going to hold new deck boards, and he was right. Whomever built the original made a mess of things, so a complete tear-away was needed. This necessarily involved the town building inspector, who was a real stickler for detail. Joe worked with him throughout the job to both satisfy the building codes and our desire for the finished product. Joe was "on the job" every day and his crew was certainly among the most efficient I've ever seen on a big job. On top of all that, even though the job expanded with them having to pour several new footings, the quoted price held from start to final payment. I would never hesitate to hire Amity for my roof and gutters -- which is what's coming next. 5 stars!

John and his team came in at the top for us, after we got a few different quotes from various…read moreroofers in the area. His quote was actually the most reasonable, but he was also the most responsive roofer we had met with. He was the only one who actually got up on our roof to see what was going on, and even did a few other projects for us during the roofing project. He removed an old lean-to on our garage that was hit by a fallen tree limb, and took the chimney down to the attic floor, since it was no longer being used. His large team worked very hard, and he texted us pictures throughout the entire process, since we were out of town while the work was being completed. He was extremely attentive to our many questions and reminders. His team cleaned up all the nails and shingles, and they even removed some leaves and the large tree limb from the garage. I highly recommend John and his team if you are looking to get a new roof!

After posting…read moremy review Dana contacted us the next day and apologized for not having returned our calls or emails saying that he is understaffed and overwhelmed right now. He inspected the roof and found no defects in the product or workmanship but mentioned that he felt the leak may be coming from a window above it. Although not responsible for taking it a step further he came back in a few days to pull the siding from around the window looking to find the problem. Although he did not definitively find the source of the leak we were pleased with his willingness to go the extra mile. Thank you Dana.

Amazing job, unbeatable price, exceptional professionalism…read more We hired Christopher home improvement LLC for replacing roof and siding of our house recently. I had to say this may be the best decision we have ever made on choosing a contractor for home renovation work from many highly rated companies on the internet. We are deeply impressed with Raul and his crew for their honesty, transparency and attention to details when quoting the work plan and price. Matter of fact, they advised us in the first day the missing layer of insulation under the siding and added that without extra charge, rather than ignoring that design flaw by home builder. Most of all, they completed all the jobs as planned with upright workmanship, superb diligence and exceptional professionalism. We can't say enough positive things about these wonderful people. We recommend the Christopher home improvement LLC to every home owners without reservation!
