Our 11 room colonial was overdue for exterior painting. Ed's team did an Excellent Job power washing and preparing the exterior. Ed was on the scene and made recommendations along the way. He was also available by text. His team arrived on time each morning on time and were professional & friendly. I highly recommend Ed Greim of EAG Paining in Guilford. Ed and crew just completed our interior paint project today. We had 4 rooms painted along with the entrance, stairway, and hallways. Our home was in desperate need of a fresh, clean look and our ceilings and walls needed a lot of repair. Before any work began, the project details were thoroughly reviewed with myself, Ed, and Rudy, the project manager, which put me at ease. Ed continued to touch base with me throughout the project and was always available if I needed him. Each day Rudy and crew arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of each day. They were a professional, cohesive crew that worked well together and took a lot of pride in their work. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was meticulous. The owner, Ed Greim, is hands on and a proactive communicator (a rarity often with this type of business). He was on the job morning and night checking in with his crew and me to make sure everything was going well. The best part is he saved me from picking a color that wouldn't have really worked! I hired EAG to do interior painting. Overall the customer service (ie wanting to do everything you want) is great. The owner is on site with crew regularly . I found them thru the better business bureau. They made a few mistakes on color choices. At the end of the day, the woodwork wasn't prepped properly I am guessing and it is already peeling off. A lot of stuff was painted over that should have been sanded and prepped. I hired a professional because I didn't want to do it myself. I find myself scraping and sanding and repainting. Not the best I have had better from a professional painting company. Kind of wish I tried someone else. I will add that they offered to come back and fix everything but at that point, I just was too frustrated . read more
