You're misinformed by listening to well intentioned family, relatives, friends and acquaintances and totally uninformed thinking you can believe and listen to Social Security or Medicare personnel. They're not responsible for misleading you or giving you false information, you are responsible for yourself. The Medicare guide is nearly 1/2" thick with some information like an overview not all information and elderly seniors like myself have a limited capacity to retain and comprehend everything I read. You need an EXPERT who knows the Medicare system and all the supplements which you may qualify for or actually need to supplement original Medicare depending on your situation. My uninformed friends thinking Medicare is sufficient until they see the bill or the cost of prescriptions and there are prescriptions they don't cover at all. Like the saying goes "it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it" and supplemental coverage may be exactly what you need and never knew you needed it. Vance is a professional individual, intelligent and honest person who will help you navigate the Medicare marketplace and answer any questions. Remember the only stupid question is the one never asked. You will bless the day you meet and talk to Vance about your Medicare plan and what your benefits really are. A problem arose because he had changed to his current provider in Jan, and by Medicare rules you're only allowed to make 1 change during open enrollment. Michele contacted Medicare and was able to get an application put through due to an exception to that rule because of a unique situation involving his current insurance provider and his current healthcare provider. What's most impressive about all of this is that because the application had to be submitted by Medicare, Michelle basically did all of this on her own. He'll be getting together with her on day one of open enrollment in October to upgrade his plan.

She listened to my concerns and questions thoughtfully and answered each in a way I could understand. 5 stars! Ordered Sunglasses and was told it would take under a month to complete. Wow-to my surprise received a text saying it was ready in about 5 working days. 5 shiny gold stars!!! Make sure to check in with reception at optical center and wait your turn. Went to pickup glasses on a Thursday afternoon and there was about 3 people ahead of me. It was only about a 10 minute wait-no big deal. Lucky day- Diane was working and called my name when it was my turn. She was very friendly again and was kind enough to make sure the new glasses fit my face. They don't know I work in a medical center or over 28 years. When she complains it a hard time breathing and her chest is hurting they say they can't find anything wrong with her even though kaiser is responsible for her get her treatment. But they can't find what's wrong. Kaiser should be ashamed. Bunch of clowns don't go to kaiser unless you want to die.
