My policy was cancelled in April, I got an email CONFIRMING that our policy was cancelled & I got another email in April saying our policy was reinstated. How did it get reinstated? I have no idea because we were covered by another agent when we cancelled. So now I'm stuck paying for this dumb offices policy & my new ones because the dumb lady in the front doesn't know how our policy in their office got reinstated when she was the one who sent me an email confirmation stating our policy was cancelled. When I called my new office to figure it out they tried to help & when I called Andrew fongs offices back the lady in the front said it's out of their hands because I'm no longer with them. Don't ever go through this office. Save yourself some time & go to Randy Nishii. Crystal & Malia & Randy are so good. SO HELPFUL. Also turns out that they added a multi line discount for us that we now have to pay because I'm not a home owner! How did they even dig & look into this? I'm not sure because the lady in the front can't help me since I'm no longer with this agent!

So when I moved, I took the opportunity to obtain renters insurance with Ryan Miyashita's office. Then in 2021, with their encouragement, I opted to augment my life insurance with a policy from State Farm. It has been convenient for me having the monthly premiums consolidated and charged to my credit card. Throughout, KC Balboa has been very helpful and patient. Often, when I had to contact the office in the past, it was because my landlord at the time was requesting a timely response from me. Recently, when my renters insurance was coming up for renewal, I was surprised and pleased that Mr. Miyashita's office had proactively sent a copy of my updated policy to my landlord. I didn't need to request that they do this.
