Highly recommend. I called Ron, he came the same day, and fixed the problem. I had cold air again within 4 hours of my call. I can only show Premier's quality by contrasting with the other companies that came to my house, so please see below.
Company #1
My home warranty (AHS) sent "A-US Air Cond of Texas Ltd" to my house. They opened up the outside unit and said the circuit board was bad and the electrical needed to be replaced. They sent pictures to AHS, we called them, and AHS verbally approved the replacement. This company said they couldn't make the repair so they left.
Company #2
AHS then sent "Heritage Air and Heat LLC" to my house. To our surprise Heritage said they weren't there to repair anything but to do a second opinion. The HVAC was turned on at the thermostat, then manually turned on at the outside unit, then they tested the pressure at the outside unit. They stated the refrigerant is low because the pressure spiked and started to decrease for the first 10 seconds of observation. Per my research this is normal and is not indicative of low refrigerant. The person should have waited 10-15 minutes for the pressure to stabilize then check if it was low. They then told me there was a leak and that's why my refrigerant was low. This person went into the attic and did not find a leak but reassured me there was a leak. They said they would send another person out with a special tool to identify the leak. This person made comments that were offensive, had mannerisms that were similar to a drug addict, and made me feel unsafe. The second person never came and stood us up on our appointment.
Soon after I cancelled my warranty with AHS and decided to go my own way. If I had taken Company #1's recommendation I would have spent $500-1000; Company #2's would have cost me $2000-7000.
Premier Air Conditioning and Heating (Ron)
I called Premier at the recommendation of my neighbor. Ron showed up within 4 hours, determined there wasn't an issue with the outside unit, wasn't an issue with the attic unit, and found and fixed the issue with my thermostat. The total time from call to praising the Lord for my neighbor, Ron, and cold air was 4 hours. All for the cost of the service call.
For consideration: I spent 6+ hours on the phone on hold and speaking with AHS, multiple days in the process of requesting and receiving service from other companies, and multiple hours with the other companies. read more
