Before payment, communication was relatively smooth. After payment, it became very difficult. Emails were slow, inconsistent, or confrontational, and phone calls often went unanswered. We repeatedly tried to move forward with the trip, but communication deteriorated to the point that we lost confidence in the company's ability to reliably deliver what was purchased. The experience caused significant stress and ultimately led us to decide not to proceed. While researching, we were unable to find reviews on major platforms like Yelp or TripAdvisor. We did find a small number of reviews elsewhere, including one that closely reflected our experience. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution charities against offering RWAS packages in fundraisers, and I would encourage potential buyers to thoroughly research alternative safari operators. There are many reputable companies in this space, and reliability and communication matter greatly, especially for international travel into underdeveloped nations.

Not only did he ensure that we hit all of the Park highlights, but he took us away from the biggest crowds to show us views that were true " hidden gems." Our guide, Brian, was super friendly and knowledgeable. He let the group choose how to spend our time (more driving vs. educational tidbits) which was great. Water was offered before the tour started and during, with a full ice chest strapped on to one of the Tomcars, which was easily accessible during any of the stops. The only bummer was that we had to wait for a group of gentlemen, who were a bit late and worse for wear, which cut into our actual drive time. What was suppose to be an exciting upcoming trip to Belize (which this office "specializes" in), my wife and I Googled travel agencies nearby to get more information. We're not experts, so we wanted to consult someone who does this all day. This company HAD great reviews, so why not? My first call to Sue Doyle was our first time brainstorming the trip. We wanted to visit several countries due to the close proximity and I requested more information on how to do it. When I got the quote, everything looked great until I started scrolling down and reading through Sue Doyle and her partner Sue Castillo's correspondence... OOPS! They belittled us for wanting to visit other locations and completely humiliated us over email. I returned her voicemail by asking her to review the same document as I was. "Okay. Stupid way to do it, but the client is always right, right?" **crickets** If this was in any way our fault, I wouldn't be wasting my time writing this review. This is how they perceive and treat their customers without their knowledge. I refuse to do business with a wolf in sheep's clothing. And for what seems to be a dying industry, this didn't do them any favors.

My children and I traveled to Rome and stayed in a hotel close to the Opera house that was perfect for me an two teenagers. One of the best things about booking with Sue is that if I ever have trouble while on a trip, she is there to help me. Expedia, other online booking sites and the airlines are nowhere to be found if you have a problem while on your trip. I had to get home quickly from Nairobi when I had problems with my business here in Phoenix, and Sue and her staff were able to get me back with out much extra cost and without the usual problems. I always know that I can count on her if a problem arises while on a trip. I would never book an overseas trip or any kind of vacation without Sue!

We traveled to Apache Junction for the first time on 04-15-25 to check it out. It's a cool little…read moreplace. While we were there, we spotted a trail ride booth for Apache Trail Tours. The prices were great, but you just never know what kind of quality you'll get, even with expensive rides. We had our 6 year old with us, so we were praying that he wouldn't get bored haha! It was extremely hot outside too. We chose the 1 hour ride (just to play it safe), and we were blessed with an old cowboy named "Fast Eddie" as our driver and guide. Without exaggeration, we fell in love with Eddie in about one minute. The trail was awesome, but Eddie was better. The man was absolutely packed full of information and knowledge. We're from Northwest Pennsylvania and had a million questions. Eddie answered ALL of our questions, and incorporated them into his standard presentation. He was especially good with our 6yr. old, and kept everything extremely interesting. Eddie explained wildlife, rocks, views of the mountains, weather, etc, etc, etc..... WE COULDN'T GET ENOUGH OF HIM!!!!!!!! Eddie stopped at several predetermined locations for beautiful views and photo opportunities, but he would also stop anytime we asked him to. We could see that he was one with nature, and that he absolutely loved all the plants and wildlife around him. It was so awesome!!!!!!! I don't know much about the company, we enjoyed our tour and our tour guide more than I can really express on here. Eddie was a great representative of the state of Arizona, as well as Apache Trail Tours. The man was like a historian, college professor, kindergarten teacher, comedian, rancher, cowboy, bullrider, park ranger and old friend all at once. Truly remarkable!
