Great Tour! We loved this tour. It moved fast, very informative and we learned a lot. This was a very professional tour. We enjoyed our guides and the overview of dairy farming. It was interesting to see how the dairy cows are milked and hear about their life on the farm. We loaded a "cow train" and visited different areas of the farm before returning back where we started. We were all offered a bottle of flavored milk and most of us even enjoyed a taste of Shamrock Ice Cream. We loved the tour and would recommend it to others.

    Local family owned, since 1922.

A charming roadside attraction. We went to see Roxie the cow and her friends at Shamrock Farms in Stanfield AZ. A family owned business started in 1922. The facility was built in 2003 and tours started in 2005. The main dairy is in Phoenix and they market in AZ and CO. The welcome area is a giant barn with a small museum, snack bar (serving their own ice cream) and gift shop. School tours in the morning, public tours in the afternoon October thru May. The put you on the tram and drive you thru the facility describing the life of a diary cow. On the day of our tour, 21 new calves had been birthed since midnight. You get to see the milking operation and get to feed and pet some calves as well as demonstrate the auto milking machines (but not on real cows). Plan on 2 to 2-1/2hrs. You get a free milk sample at the end of the tour. Chocolate... mmmm... Make reservations for a tour, you'll enjoy it.

I have had five bad milks (one black and green) from Shamrock farms in the past six months. Don't drink the milk.

This was the best price for a family of 4! Breakfast is included! We signed up on their website and then they emailed us instructions on where to meat and an estimate of how long the whole ride would be. We parked in a grocery store parking lot. There was two white unmarked vehicles and a white truck pulling a long trailer. When we arrived we signed the waivers and got in the vans. We drove north for a few minutes to find a nice open spot where they unloaded the basket and balloon! It was amazing to watch them put everything together! The basket did not have a door/latch system. Everyone had to climb in. They did have a stepstool for those who needed it. My dad has little mobility in his legs so we had to use the stepstool both times, entering and exiting the balloon. It was a little bit of a challenge but we made it :) Once in the air, the pilot was nice and funny! He answered everyone's questions and pointed out fun facts and etc. When it came time to landing we had a rough time but the crew on the ground was great to jump right in and help! They then helped unload everyone and began to set up breakfast! We all got a mini quiche, croissant, fruit, and mimosas! After breakfast we all got back into the vans and they took us back to the grocery store parking lot. Over all it would a little less than 4hours. Such a great and amazing experience. Highly recommended! Great crew!

It was bumper to bumper traffic. This driver stopped on the middle of the highway parallel next to me with his blinker on blocking traffic behind him. As the traffic began to move so do I as I have been in this lane for already 20 mins waiting to exit and this driver began to merge into my lane as he was right next to me. He started to get into my lane parallel next to me. I blew my horn to alert the driver he is about to crash into me and he blew the horn aggressively back. He continued to merge into my lane causing me to swerve and almost hit the car in the lane to the right of me. He almost ran me off the road. Below is the pic of the bus who almost ran me off the road. I have called several times to Michelle and Laurie leaving them a message and I still have not gotten a single call back regarding this safety issue. I would not recommend this tour line as the drivers on their website states they've taken safety classes which is an obvious lie. They are not safe. They will drive you off the road not caring whether there are children in the vehicle or who they wreck into. I had my two 1 year old twins in the vehicle with me and they could have been injured if I wasn't driving safely and proactively against this aggressive bus driver from Gray Line bus tours. I will also be reporting to the better business bureau. This is a safety concern. Drivers are not allowed to stop in the middle of the highway and before merging lanes must be clear. This was NOT the case! Someone could have been injured but this reckless arrogant driver.
