The cattle feed lots aren't as close as the cotton gin factory but every evening it reeks of sh!t. Sometimes the electricity will flicker because the park is at the end of an electrical grid. Then the RV air conditioner kicks off, ours won't go back on unless a human turns it on. So you can't leave your pets home alone as it's almost always hot. We didn't want a hot dog.

My neighbors are wonderful people and when the park fills up during the winter, the visitors are amazing as well. Boyd has done a great job every year making the community better, adding more golf holes, 9 total now, miniature golf, driving range, adding new pickle ball court and laying red brick pavers down on remaining lots makes it much more attractive. I would recommend this resort to anyone over 55 that who is looking for a peaceful retirement community.

They are surrounded by miles of farm and they are between Coolidge and Florence and getting closer and closer to south Phoenix Metro area. This is a flat ground area but still have nice views of mountains nearby. The grounds are well kept and have gravel. I came here primarily because I just needed a place to park my RV for the night as I had a conference in Florence. Everywhere was full up and just not a lot of options at the last minute. They worked me in and made sure I was set up for the night. They have very reasonable rates. Dogs are welcome on leash. They are not primarily a RV resort, they are a horse roping area. I would not recommend if you get upset by horse people or environment. I was also in the middle of the rain, and some areas were muddy, which will be dusty in the summer. They look like they have some long-term residents, but the focus is on Equestrian events. A great place to come to practice or learn roping or sorting, and the website provides information on rates for the activities. My family mainly does carriage driving and trail riding, so I may not need the equine facilities in the future, but the roping area was as good or better than others I have visited. Thank you to Lonestar for making my stay an enjoyable experience, even though it was short.

They were so kind and did all the tricks to see why nothing was coming out. We did the toilet fill and flush, we stuck a hose down there too. It wasn't until they crawled under the Indie camper and found a SECOND black tank pull. Thank goodness because if I returned it full Indie camper rental would charge me over $380 to dump the black tank.

There are all sorts of things to do - pickleball, lawn bowling, volleyball in the pool, clubs etc. if you want to join in, you can, and if not, there are pools, hot tubs and even a bistro with plenty of outdoor seating (and fire pits!). Make sure to grab the Happenings in the office so you know what's going on- we've even watched a few softball games. There are quite a few restaurants (mostly chain) in the vicinity, but check out the Creative Cafe if you like things a little more local. Grocery stores etc all nearby as well. If you like to hike; plenty of trails available within 15 mins of here. We were also able to get our RV washed and waxed onsite by Squeaky Clean RV, they did a beautiful job! We have enjoyed our week+ stay here and will definitely be returning.

Had no idea that the farm was so close to home…read more We had a great time visiting. We got to see how cows were brought in to get milked which was very enlightening. Then they showed us a video about the farm and facility in Phoenix. We took a tram around the farm, we were in amazed in how many cows they have and how they keep track of them. The was the 100th year for Shamrock Farms and they did a good job showing it off. Because it's Christmas time they had Santa and Mrs. Claus fly in from the South Pole for the kids. All around it was a nice trip out to the farm with the kids.

A couple Denise and Will. I needed a mail box on lot 77. They told me that all the stores were sold out. I drove to Home Depot and Lowes. There were several dozen. So I moved to lot 61. It was easier to move than to wait them to install a mailbox. (Probably because they are not competent enough to install a simple mailbox) The drain line was high-- Making it difficult to flush black water. Something the owner Jim S stayed he fixed.... well, sorry to break your heart-- he lied. They have different rules for different people. Some RVers are allowed to have pop up tents. Some are not allowed to have pop up tents. In fact, one RV has 3 tents/gazebos. Will acts like the big bully in school. My first encounter with him, he leaned over me to try to assert dominance. Hahaha. In all my dealing with this NON gentleman, he never once introduced himself. He is beyond disrespectful. You could pay me to come back to this place. The worst part is it was wonderful. Now there is just dead animals that sit and rot, because management is too busy sitting on their brains to do their job.

New Manager training so didn't know a few things but was very kind and sweet. PROS: Basically the only ones here in mid November/mostly quiet. Full hook ups. Pool & friendly manager. CONS: Pool area had wasp nest, pool chairs had spiderwebs/spiders all over them. No where to take your dog. But again, I assume things will be upgraded shortly. Sounded like we were next to a hospital or fire station. Lots of ambulances. OTHER: You will be mixed in with Mobile-homes & some permanent residents. They were able to accommodate us well due to the off season but manager mentioned things get full around the winter time.
