We took the 2 hour tour and had Smokey for our tour guide!! Talk about a gentleman who was packed full of knowledge that he shared with us!! I would definitely recommend this tour and would definitely ask for Smokey!! As an added bonus, Smokey looks a lot like Theodore Roosevelt!!! BULLY PULPIT!!!!

What an experience. Our tour guide Sandman had so much info about the area. We took an 5&8 year olds and they absolutely loved Sandman. You won't be disappointed in the 2 hour tour.

Had a great time!!! Our tour guide Sandman was awesome! He was so knowledgeable, it was cool seeing a jackrabbit and some deer on the tour.

we just went on the 2 1/2 hour jeep tour with our guide Smoky. he was awesome. Very knowledgeable and very entertaining. highly recommend asking for Smoky to be your tour. the ride was very rugged, fun but safe. Great job Smoky. Highly recommend

Amazing! The people make this place the best! They're so fun, kind, knowledgeable! We took a one hour tour with one of the best guides ever! Fantastic storytelling of local folklore, super knowledgeable about local desert scape, plant and wildlife! If you're looking for the best day ever, visit Goldfield Ghost Town, and schedule a tour with Apache Trail tours!

Great tour by the SandMan. Took us to places we never even thought were here and we live locally. We brought out of town friends on the tour. They had a blast!.

They do a terrific job. Did two, 2-hour tours, one with my work team and one with my husband and a good friend. Both guides were terrific with wonderful views of this rugged area.

Had a great tour with "Lobo" to explore our new area. He is a resident and lives on Superstition mountain and was a wealth of knowledge about Saguaro cactus and animals in the area. The ride was comfortable but if you get carsick, take some pills beforehand because the road has a lot of switchbacks. Take lots of pictures, the scenery is awesome!

Wonderful western lore stories told set against this desert landscape

Wonderful!!!! Group of 7 (4 teens and 3 adults) on a two hour tour lead by "Sandman". He made the tour so informative, entertaining and just the right amount of adrenaline. Master of "dad jokes". Highly recommend.

We were looking for an adventure for our visit to the area and came across your tour. We had a blast learning about the area and the cactus and wildlife in the area. Smokey was our tour guide and was entertained our group.

Our guide, Boots, was friendly and knowledgeable. She maneuvered the terrain expertly and made for a very comfortable 1 hour ride and experience my whole family enjoyed. (2 adults, 12 yr old and 6 yr old) Dress warm and enjoy!! My only complaint is that is was FREEZING. We were visiting from Chicago and ignorant to how cold it is in the desert in the mornings, we foolishly under-dressed. It would have been great if blankets were offered, even for purchase. Besides chattering teeth, the tour was awesome!

Informative, fun, and the perfect amount of uphill bumps and beauty. The scenery is beyond great and Boots made for an exceptional tour guide. Her historic retrospective and botanic knowledge were impressive. This made for an even better visit to Goldfield Ghost Town. Perfect for ages 5 to 85. Next time we have out of town guests... we'll be back!

The scenery was absolutely gorgeous, and the whole experience felt so peaceful. The crew was friendly, welcoming, and made the experience even more enjoyable. I loved it so much that I'm already planning to bring my mom and aunts when they visit in September. If you have binoculars, definitely bring them! You'll be able to spot the bighorn sheep along the cliffs better! After the cruise, I'd recommend grabbing lunch at the Tortilla Flat Saloon and taking a drive along the Apache Trail. Just know that part of the trail is unpaved with switchbacks and steep grades, so take your time and make sure you're comfortable driving those kinds of roads. It's a really unique experience with incredible views, and you'll eventually end up at the Roosevelt Dam. It was the perfect Arizona day and a wonderful way to experience the beauty, and history, of the desert.

We left promptly at 6:30 PM four our narrated tour and dinner. The weather and temps could not have been better. We toured the lake, saw fossils on the Canyon Walls I didn't know existed, saw Big horn sheep and beautiful scenery. The food was really good with smoke portions, Dr. Sky finished the evening with a discussion on the Blue Moon, Venus, Jupiter and the elusive Space Station. A very enjoyable trip snd memories. I highly recommend this for a family, romantic evening or just an evening out.

The tour began in Sedona, where the scenery was absolutely beautiful. We then made a quick stop in Flagstaff for lunch before continuing on to the Grand Canyon -- which was nothing short of spectacular. This experience exceeded our expectations and I can't recommend this tour enough. I also can't recommend Arizona Scenic Tours enough -- truly a first class experience from start to finish.

At the end of the day, though, everyone in our group agreed that it was well worth the price (and, particularly if you're coming from the East Coast, you're going to be awake early anyway!). Our guide, Jon, made sure that everything ran as efficiently as it possibly could have. Not only did he ensure that we hit all of the Park highlights, but he took us away from the biggest crowds to show us views that were true " hidden gems." Jon was so knowledgable on the history, the environment, and other facts related to the area that we could not have enjoyed it more. Truly an experience of a lifetime! If, like us, you are making your first trip to the Grand Canyon, this is THE way to see it! Thank you, Jon - and Arizona Scenic Tours - for a very memorable trip.
