As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted right away. I came right when they opened on a Saturday morning. Kahe was my technician. She was very sweet. I'm not too much of a chatty person while getting services, I like to just relax. Kahe could feel my energy and kept our conversation light. Wax and manicure were perfect. Gel Mani and waxing were $55. About the same price as my area in Maryland. I definitely recommend if you're in the Knoxville area.

The interior is different from any other nail bar I have visited before. The pedicure rooms off to the side are private and take away the awkward feeling of everyone seeing every move you make. My husband joined me and we were placed in a room to ourselves so we were able to talk and enjoy each other and our nail techs. The manicure stations were set up for social distancing and I was able to watch as they pulled the tools used for me out of clean sterile single use packs. This is something I haven't found with any other nail bar in Knoxville and I've visited many locations. My gel nails looks amazing and I cannot wait to visit with Lee again. What a wonderful experience and such relaxing and calming massages that went along with both our mani and pedis. Thank you so mic

And then he starts mumbling under his breath to the nail tech sitting next to him, he won't look at you, and they keep it up. We are forking out the money, so we should be able to leave with the type of nails we want ~ looking like we want it to look. I have left without asking that my nails be fixed, and then came home to file them like I want. But not any more!!! Men Nail techs,,,grow up and cater to your client with a smile!

I don't get my nails done often, and while I was home from college, I decided to try this salon. David was my technician. I asked for a lavender color with a chrome finish, and he showed me one on the sample palette that looked like what I wanted. When my nails were finished, there was no chrome, just plain lavender. When I asked about it, David asked another employee and tried checking with others, but I felt more embarrassed in the moment and ended up saying maybe I was wrong. He then laughed, and I was already anxious about speaking up, so it made me feel uncomfortable. I left a tip because I panicked and just wanted to leave. Afterward, I felt really overwhelmed and ended up crying in my car. I understand miscommunication can happen, but I wish there had been better communication and customer service.

I'll admit I did not have an appointment, however, aside from staff there was only one other person in the salon getting a pedicure. I went in for a fill and the tech seemed annoyed I was there and he was assigned to assist me. The whole experience was awkward but, I get people have bad days and just sat in silence as he worked on my nails. He didn't listen to what I requested and did a poor job. It's been three days and I have a nail lifting and multiple others that have chipped polish because he didn't apply any top coat after color. I was excited to try a new salon but, I very highly doubt I'll be going back to Mystique Nail Spa.
