This was a non-trivial task. After first running a complete and comprehensive diagnostic, he discovered the ancient (spinning) hard drive was failing. I also needed to upgrade the available RAM to be able to host Windows 11. In the end, I received a completely functional Windows machine, with an upgraded Processor, an SSD, maxed-out RAM and a Windows 11 License - for pennies on the dollar of what a replacement machine would cost. I work from home, so I need my multi-function printer for printing, scanning, and copying pretty regularly. I first tried calling Canon, but my printer was just months out of warranty so Canon didn't offer any IT support or repair services, but directed me to their website for tutorials. I read a bunch of tutorials on the Canon website and also googled the problem and watched several YouTube videos. I tried cleaning the cartridge glider and following other online suggestions. Nothing worked. I was beginning to fear I'd have to shell out $$$ for a brand new printer after I had just bought this one last year. Finally, I yelped a bunch of printer/computer repair services in my area. Nick was the among the first to get back to me and seemed confident he could repair my printer.
