Took a 3-in-1 printer in for repair before going on vacation. Waited for the call per his sign, never received a call. I finally called to check the repair status and was told he had sold it for SALVAGE!! When I challenged that action, he said it was for rental for shelf space. I asked then if he had repaired it, and a big fat silence told me no, he had not repaired it, never called to let me know the status, and had simply stolen it from me to sell for a few bucks. We took our touch screen computer to Preheim Computers because the operating system was not working. When we received it back, there was a crack in the screen. We noticed that there was also a gap between the backing of the computer and the screen where they pried our computer apart. It was right near the cracked screen. When we called they said that it was my husband that possibly cracked the screen and not them. Now we are out a computer because it will not work with the crack and Preheim Computers will not pay us back for the damage they did to our computer! read more

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a business. the person that answered the door refused to answer my questions about my computer and when asked a question would only say "we work on orders received" even when I didn't ask him a question about my computer. I found this store because the UPS store next door was closed and I needed a copy. Blair looked up what I needed and printed, for one dollar! A few days later, my friends computer was high jacked by scammers. I remembered how kind Blair had been, so we took the computer to him. He knew exactly what was wrong, and explained it in plain English so we both understood exactly what the problem was. He gave us a VERY reasonable quote to fix the problem and guaranteed to call if it was going to run over the stated amount. I can't tell express how nice it was to be treated with respect and understanding. AND, have a stated quote: not the usual "I will have to get in there and take a look." Plus, a guarantee that if it ran over the quote he would call before proceeding. I am sooooooo glad the UPS store was closed. Blair is personable and honest. I just paid $80 to the idiots at Preheim computers in Scappoose to "FIX" my laptop. I picked it up yesterday, I got on it today to do homework and it doesn't work! So I took it back down to them right away. And the old man told me that I had to leave my computer and wait. He wouldn't even look at it for a second. I just picked it up yesterday! Not to mention the issue going on with it now, wasn't even an issue I was having with it before I took it in! He even wanted the username and password to my college account! I told him to forget it, by this point I was very upset and angry that they robbed me of $80 that only made my laptop worse. Needing my laptop as it is a must in my college classes.I went crying to the computer place down the street called Straightforward computers. The guy was so nice, and fixed the problem so I could get by at no cost! So THANK YOU Straightforward computers! Atleast your Straightforward with me.
