This was a non-trivial task. After first running a complete and comprehensive diagnostic, he discovered the ancient (spinning) hard drive was failing. I also needed to upgrade the available RAM to be able to host Windows 11. In the end, I received a completely functional Windows machine, with an upgraded Processor, an SSD, maxed-out RAM and a Windows 11 License - for pennies on the dollar of what a replacement machine would cost. Dana was a pleasure to work with and expeditiously resolved all of my issues with the MacBooks, including figuring out that the hardware issue on the one MacBook was a motherboard failure. Five months later, both MacBooks are still working great. The folks at Kind Technologies are very knowledgeable of their craft, kind, professional, and trustworthy. I recommend this place to everyone in the area who has computer issues. Also, for those who are concerned about it, the folks at Kind Technologies are taking COVID-19 safety precautions very seriously. They don't allow walk-ins and require you to schedule your in-person visits ahead of time so only one customer is in the shop at the same time. They're also strict about mask-wearing and social distancing. I'll be sure to return to Kind Technologies for my computer issues in the future.

I bought a piece I didn't need and he dropped the ball on helping me find a receiver for my system. He was over 1/2 hour late to our appointment this past weekend (Saturday morn). I paid him the full $40 (his per hour rate) for 1/2 hour appointment. Our antennae didn't seem to be pulling signal. He removed the DVD player from the converter box and the signal came thru. It lasted for the remainder (5 min) our appointment, then died when he left, and no signal for remainder of Saturday. I texted and called prior to his closing hours. I received a text 4 hours later he would be contacting me Sunday morning Sunday came and went. 4:30 Sunday afternoon I called and left a voice mail. Still waiting for contact. Since then I've fixed the issue--connected the antennae directly to the TV, which should have been done from the get go. You are much smarter than this guy and deserving of good customer service, take my word for it. Spend your time and money elsewhere.
