I purchased a new water heater at Lowe's for a tenant's house in Athens, had it delivered, and contacted Matthew for installation. One of the things I liked about JPC is that they published their hourly rates on their website and honored them in the past. On a call to Matthew on March 4, I verified the hourly rate for the location of my rental as $125 an hour plus a $20 distance charge. When I told Matthew that I needed a water heater installed, he said that management had held a recent meeting and decided that customer-purchased water heaters would be subject to a flat rate of $650 for installation. No such flat fee appears on their website, but I needed someone to do the installation and agreed to the price. Today I paid the bill for $650 plus $125 in parts, though I had purchased a package of installation parts for that water heater heater from Lowe's. But I also asked my tenant to track the arrival and departure time of the plumber on March 6. He arrived at 9:00 exactly and left at 10:25. The service also included haul-away of the old water heater. Google Maps shows the Athens Landfill is located 6.5 miles and 12 minutes from the rental. Angie from the landfill tells me there is no charge for dropping off a water heater because it is considered recyclable metal. So had they honored their posted rate, the service should have cost me $270 plus parts. If it had taken the plumber 4 or 5 hours to do the installation, I would consider the $650 charge fair, but JPC took advantage and I can no longer recommend then. Everything is getting more expensive and I'd understand if they raised their hourly rates, but when they won't honor their rates, they lose my business.

This company arrived timely and repaired a sewer pump issue for us. We had called another company…read moreon yesterday who stood us up then tried to reschedule something for us today and never called back to even do that. Plumber Pro Service is the best. Our plumber (Matthew) was honest and explained everything he diagnosed and fixed. He finished the job and applied the diagnostic fee of $95.00 to the job. He tested the sewer pump several times before he left to ensure everything was fine. We will use them again for sure! Much appreciated! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I do not know where to begin…read more We hired this company to do the necessary plumbing for our small commercial kitchen after being assured by John Regusa that he knew what all of the city requirements were necessary to pass a plumbing inspection. What followed was something that took four times longer than communicated and was wrought with one frustration after another. Along the way I expressed concerns over the way things were coming along, however, was told by John at every turn that he knew what he was doing - even when it was apparent that he did not. I paid this company half of the total amount up front and John did his best to get me to give him the remaining half BEFORE the inspection, even lying to me about having scheduled it for the day he was due to finish all work. This was one of many lies he told me. Another of his lies was that he pulled a permit for the gas line he installed which, as it turned out, we did not need because there was an existing gas line already in place. The inspector confirmed the permit was not pulled and only added much after the fact in an effort to cover his behind. John still insisted he was right and the inspector was wrong. John simply had an excuse for everything. Long story short - the inspection failed - miserably. The inspector was shocked over the shoddy work done and simply could not believe his eyes at how some of the piping was rigged. The owner of the company, "Sam", was incredibly combative, deflective and completely unwilling to assume any responsibility from the very beginning. He refused to have a conversation with me at the very beginning, instead, insisting we communicate via email only. His deflection and defense of his employee John in light of emperical proof of lies told and sub par work completed is truly astonishing. Sam even has gone so far as to lay blame - get this - on me for believing John's lies. The two essentially continued to pee on my shoes while telling me it was raining. I believe this company does a signficant amount of damage control and positive PR to hide their MANY negative reviews I unfortunately came across too late. I would avoid them at all costs, especially if you are female as they seem to think we're all naiive and ignorant whose eyes they can easily pull the wool over. I intend on filing a complaint with the GA Secretary of State's Construction Industry Licensing Board - Division of Master and Journeyman Plumbers, BBB and all other appropriate forums. Here is a picture of the sink that John left on these blocks. This was how he left it after telling me it was finished. When I expressed dissatisfaction with this rigged set up - he backpeddled and told me he could get leg extenders, however, he had truly hoped I would be o.k. with it the way it was left. Amazing. The rest of his work was just as unprofessional.

He said it was the reverse valve which was still under warranty. The part was on back order which took awhile to get and for him to come back to change out. He also told me it was gonna need X lbs amount of refrigerant which it took more. He gave me a price which it was a few hundred dollars more. So him doing what he did, still did not fix the problem. I called back to let them know that the problem wasn't fixed, and they said he would come back to check it out. As weeks went on he told me that he didn't even think that was the right reverse valve. He came back to my house and told me that he would like to change out the compressor and to change the indoor coil which these parts should be still under warranty since the unit is less than 5 years old. I told him to check it out to see if the parts were still under warranty and get back with me. As I waited on a phone call that I never received, I called the office back and talked to the receptionist and said the technician was on vacation and he will be back in touch with me when he returns. I waited on that call for two more weeks still no call so I called the office back and she said he was playing catch up and had a very long list that it would be soon. weeks went by still no call. The initial service call July 5 till now November 2 my unit is still not working and haven't heard back from the technician. I am totally dissatisfied in this company in every way. I would not recommend them at all. I feel like I am getting the runaround. I even commented on their facebook page and the comment was immediately deleted and I was blocked from their page. Very unprofessional company. God Bless!!!!
