They suggested Khemraj Physical Therapy because Rajesh looks at you holistically. Mind, body, and soul. His methods are unique to the way he believes he can help a person so no two people have the same treatment. Prior to coming to Khemraj Physical Therapy I had been attending another physical therapy office for about 4 months and had stopped atrending because I did see/feel any sort of progress with my injury. In half the time at Khemraj Physical Therapy I've not only seen/felt progress, I've been given stretches and exercises to support my appointments. I showed up a bit early and Sydney (my Occupational Therapist) was already there expecting me. She was very patient and helpful in finding the right one for me at the lowest possible cost. She also made sure I knew how to take the splint off. She also took time to explain how my injury was healing, so that I knew why I had to have the splint on 100% of the time over the next few weeks. The benefits coordinator (?) Sarah was also great, she had to stay on the phone with the insurance company while helping another patient check in as she came in. No one wishes to have to have PT or OT, but if you do, then SERC is the place to ensure a positive experience for you.

I was elated to find that the staff was very warm and welcoming. I felt very comfortable with them.  My therapist, Garrett, was always very kind , flexible, and accommodating to my work schedule (Thank you Garrett!..Your willingness to go above and beyond made this experience a lot easier for me and meant a great deal to me as well. You are Awesome!) I  looked forward to therapy every week thanks to the entire teams warmth and kindness. I have to admit, nearing the end of therapy was bitter sweet. For 6 months they ( my therapist, the assistants, and the office managiner) have been an integral part of my journey to recovery and seemed thrilled to see me fully bounce back. Saturday does not happen. Because of this place my outpatient therapy was canceled. The Overland Park facility has the most unbelievable neglectful care. My disabled sister was there…read morefor long term rehab from a broken bone. She was able to get up and transfer to the bathroom, etc., but the night staff put a diaper on her and told her to urinate in it instead of taking her to the bathroom. This was only the worst thing they did. We told the director of the facility and the nursing staff managers, and it happened two more times before I identified the specific CNA. The staff protected the identity of the bad apple in lieu of solving the problem. My family was fortunately able to move my sister before it happened again. The owners of the facility are making a ton of money and present their story as a caring family business but are another example of corporate greed. DON'T GO THERE!

The scheduling process is daunting because they are booked out for weeks but thankfully Crystal and her team are great about getting you in if your on the waitlist! You'll get your preferred time a couple weeks out. The therapists are top notch! My favs were Jenna & Sophia! They are knowledgeable, skilled and highly professional. This company scheduled you with all different therapists which was amazing because getting a different set of ideas made the process really helpful. Jenna knew exactly how to help a postpartum mom get everything back and wasn't afraid of the details. She was easy going and flexible to accommodate the exercises to help me be able to overcome c-section surgery and nursing pains. I cannot recommend her enough! Seriously the best physical therapy I've had!

I waited 20 days for a reply about invoices and the reply was that I should call two different phone numbers for their "billing" department they added no other information. I would strongly consider other options for physical therapy.

First, they tried to ignore severe pain and muscle spams due to nerve damage in my hip that…read moreoccurred during my knee replacement surgery as "a little soreness after surgery." I had to force the issue of effectively treating the situation and it still took them 10 days before they bothered to do the correct treatment that should have been done on postop day 2. This borders on malpractice. Secondly, when I was asked, I told them that I expected to be walking without a cane after surgery. I had been forced to use a cane for about 5-6 years prior to surgery due to safety concerns and the need to preserve what I could of being able to use the knee. My expectation of being able to walk normally was completely ignored. Instead, when I tried to walk without the cane, I was told to keep using the cane. This continued throughout my entire time in rehab. Somehow they thought that using the cane was going to help me be able to walk without it. Even I don't think that's right!! This means that I couldn't really walk when they decided to dismiss me from their care. They didn't care about getting to the correct place; all they cared about was that I could stand and waddle around a little with the cane. That is not good rehabilitation. It is coming up on a year since my surgery and I still cannot walk normally because they never appropriately addressed the problems in my hips that were caused by the use of the cane. Basically they expected me to figure it out on my own. I am going to have to go to a different doctor (not one who is part owner of this facility) and a different PT place in order to get proper medical care. I find that disgusting. I will never recommend this PT facility to anyone. At this point I am unsure if I will ever be able to return to my sport. They do not care about performance. Do they even know what that word means? They only care about money.
