My dad was at this facility for a week and a half. I visited everyday sometimes twice a day and…read morenever saw a doctor. The nurses were slow to respond. It was clean, nicely decorated and the food was decent, however they are understaffed. They also gave a nurse doing an assessment for an assisted living facility for my dad to be transferred the wrong information which hindered me moving him in a timely manner. Obtaining records and health information was like pulling teeth. This facility is a good example of needing more staff and organization in our health system and care for the elderly overall. We need more nurses and doctors and for information to be streamlined and less bureaucracy. It was ok because I was advocating and pushing for my dad but I really feel for elderly patients that don't have aggressive family members helping them get proper treatment.
