This company has literally the worst customer service that I have ever dealt with. We are in the…read moreprocess of moving to a new home with city trash pick up so I called to cancel service when my billing cycle ends which will be on the 26th of this month. They scheduled it for that date and told me it would be picked up a few days after that pick up. I got home today on the 5th to find that my trash can had already been picked up. When I told the customer service representative that it had been picked up, she said "I seriously doubt that" even though it had indeed been picked up and she could see that my account was still marked active. No discount in service was offered because they are allegedly going to have a trash can returned before my next pick up date. They argue that you are not missing service as long as they pick up regardless of whether you have a trash can or not, so now we have to have trash stored inside of our home until they can get a trash can returned to me and that is not considered missing service. A few years ago, I called two weeks in advance to have a large furniture pick up, and on the scheduled date no one showed up, so I had an old couch sitting in my drive way for several days waiting on them to fix the issue. They are consistently unorganized and do not care about their customers satisfaction. This is the worst customer service I have ever had and they are willing to make their customers suffer the consequences of their mistakes with no offer to do anything to make it right. Don't bother calling ahead and trying to make plans because they are not going to get it right regardless. Only giving one stat because I can't give zero.

I have used AC Trash Hauling twice in the last year. I meant to post a review when I first used…read morethem, so I will combine both experiences into this one review, since both are extremely positive! Last summer a fairly large and cumbersome patio umbrella broke. I had no way to haul it off my property and certainly didn't know where to go to dispose of it! So I checked the list as I always do before seeking a service provider. I called Andy of AC Trash Hauling due to the wonderful reviews. He arrived promptly, had a nice conversation with me, and took the umbrella off my hands! I do not remember that price, but it was incredibly reasonable! So, when another more pressing crisis occurred on Monday, May 14, I knew exactly whom to call! When my daughter was attempting to put my new patio umbrella into one of my glass patio tables, a sudden gust of wind caught the umbrella and....the reader might well know how this story ends! The glass in the table shattered all over the patio and the chair cushions. After standing there gaping like fish out of water for a few incredulous seconds, she asked, "What are we going to do??" I responded that I just might know whom to call.... When I phoned Andy of AC Trash Hauling and told him the story, he said he could be at my home in 30 minutes with his assistant, would clean up the glass, spray off the patio, and haul away the shell of a table. I was so incredibly grateful!!! He arrived in LESS than 30 minutes, remembered not only the umbrella incident from last summer, but also remembered my profession and some other things we'd chatted about last summer. Amazing! He and his assistant went right to work and within an hour all was cleaned up! We chatted a few minutes more, and I told him once again how delighted I was with his service, friendliness, and professionalism!
