Wow, environmental friendliness is really expensive these days…read more $1 per screen size inch to recycle my old and busted 27" TV? Ouch. I was expecting a flat fee around $10. And having to walk in a nearly-empty carpet showroom, ask about recycling, then drive around to the back of the building to drop it off? Weird and awkward. Cash only? Ugh. I do appreciate that this service exists, however ... saving the world is great. Plus, it's located close to my workplace so I could hit it up on my lunch hour. All things said and done, EOL is A-OK.

This company has literally the worst customer service that I have ever dealt with. We are in the…read moreprocess of moving to a new home with city trash pick up so I called to cancel service when my billing cycle ends which will be on the 26th of this month. They scheduled it for that date and told me it would be picked up a few days after that pick up. I got home today on the 5th to find that my trash can had already been picked up. When I told the customer service representative that it had been picked up, she said "I seriously doubt that" even though it had indeed been picked up and she could see that my account was still marked active. No discount in service was offered because they are allegedly going to have a trash can returned before my next pick up date. They argue that you are not missing service as long as they pick up regardless of whether you have a trash can or not, so now we have to have trash stored inside of our home until they can get a trash can returned to me and that is not considered missing service. A few years ago, I called two weeks in advance to have a large furniture pick up, and on the scheduled date no one showed up, so I had an old couch sitting in my drive way for several days waiting on them to fix the issue. They are consistently unorganized and do not care about their customers satisfaction. This is the worst customer service I have ever had and they are willing to make their customers suffer the consequences of their mistakes with no offer to do anything to make it right. Don't bother calling ahead and trying to make plans because they are not going to get it right regardless. Only giving one stat because I can't give zero.
