Overall, cannot recommend this company. Then end product looks nice and is functional, which is the only reason it gets any stars. Everything else was pretty terrible. Communication especially was awful. I would request a status update and the response was always something like "x is next. Maybe next week." Or "not sure. waiting on y." I signed the contract in August. Construction started in September. Estimated 6-8 weeks for construction. Wasn't finished until Christmas, and I'm actually still waiting for the last of the excess materials to get picked up and it's February. The majority of it seemed to be finished in about 2 weeks. From there it was anyone's guess when or if anyone would show up to do work. Weeks would go by with no work, no communication, and then suddenly one day there would be a bunch of people in my backyard with no warning-no text, no knock on my door to alert me of their presence. They'd work for a day or two. Make a giant mess of my backyard - Mud everywhere, garbage everywhere - and then disappear again for weeks. I had to clean up so much trash, food wrappers, beverage containers, empty cigarette boxes. They also just helped themselves with use of my things and then left them wherever when they were finished. Most notably was the time I found my hose connected to the house on a day it was below freezing with a hard freeze expected that night and weekend. I was livid since I had purposefully put away the hose the day before, since I knew it was supposed to freeze and I didn't want any damage on my home. They also tore up my irrigation system to build the garage and just left sprinkler parts laying around and cut off irrigation tubes sticking out of the ground or buried wherever. When I complained about this and requested they fix it, the response was just "we don't do landscaping." So apparently they can destroy your property to get the build finished and not have to do anything to make it right because it's "not their job." I can't see how it could be that hard to cap the ends of the tubes they cut and not bury them indiscriminately, so I could at least still have a functional irrigation system and not have to worry about water leaking god knows where underground. The grand finale of this all is when I finally was able to start parking in the garage, it was an absolute mess in there. Mud was caked everywhere all over the floor. There was sawdust and rogue nails and screws all over. There were excess materials and empty boxes from the electrical work. It took me over two hours to clean it up so I could pull my car in. The fact that they considered this a "finished job" was laughable. read more
