My party for a summer meet up for my school friends

Amazing I love playing with my friends and having an area all to myself during party's plus the refs are nice and the people working there. I wish that you could play .50 and .68 cal in the same game but I know that's because of the 10y age minimum and you don't want them to get hit with a paintball that goes faster and hits harder but the main reason I love this place is because my brother used to play like 3/7 out of the days of the week and he gave me all of his stuff so I wanted to see what it was all about and this place was amazing to play at and it's very fun for first timers.

Drive out was amazing as far the views, however, once you pull up parking is horrendous. It's limited and unorganized, especially for people who don't know how to park. We bought a Groupon special and used that for an all day play which includes the gear. Paintballs are extra and cost $20.00 for 500 and $60.00 for 2000. Be mindful of the rules as there is staff and refs walking around and of course monitoring the maps. They have a snack bar that only takes cash but you are welcomed to bring your own food and drinks. They have picnic areas and some are covered. I wasn't fond of one of the maps, it's wasn't leveled and the space was too open. Overall, we had a blast and would most likely return.

    Cool scenario field!

To begin my low rating was based on my experience here at this field. I've been paintballing for 15 years and this is the first field that I felt discriminated for being an experienced player that was an outsider. I drove from Houston to play here and I was disappointed. The refs were watching us like a hawk! They felt that I was going to cheat by switching my gun from semi to psp. Every employee has a walkie talkie and the field manager said a few things on the walkie talkie referring to my group. I guess they had bad experiences with players with their own equipment. The field is great for new players to start on. But beware if you are not a regular here at this field. One of my teammates was shooting at psp and he told me that it's ok because they know him. Again the field is great but the management sucks. Paint is like $65 a box and that's a rip off! I don't think I'll ever be back here again.

Instruction window on equipment and how to use everything was explained to our party.

Staff is very nice and they have good courses. Their prices are pretty fair, but it helps a lot if you bring your own gear and gun.

Little did I know, whether I wanted to play or not, I was going, along with the guys I hang out with in the hood. My wife booked Sunday afternoon for my birthday. Just to put this into perspective, I'm 56 and the average age of the crew is 61, so yeah did not think this was going to be a good idea, figured at least one of us would have a heart attack. If nothing else require oxygen masks. Anyhow we arrived at our planned time and was greeted by Larry to fill out waivers and discuss what guns, masks etc. we wanted. He then took us for the safety brief and lead us to the playing areas. He also designated a covered area with picnic tables for coolers etc. There are four playing areas, one speed game with plastic barriers and two other fields with pallets, fences, bridges and forts. There is another area but we didn't use it, it is a large area about a 1/4 mile long. At first it was a little rough going as a couple of the guys never played before but once they got the hang of it, it was a blast. We played around 15 games in the three fields. There was only one other group so we were basically on our own pace. Play a round, set down for a few minutes to catch our breath, then back at it. The grounds are very nice, plenty of covered seating areas and bleachers on one side of the speed round field. The staff was excellent, Larry somehow, after seeing our names on the waivers knew who each was and called us by our first names. I think the staff was amazed that a bunch of seniors had the courage to play and make it out alive, lol. We are already planning another day at Charlies.

When walking up the ramp, we were checked in and greeted by John who also gave us a tour of the field. He was open about the back half being under construction for cool improvements that will be completed soon. Paul took the time to show off the items in the store front. The staging area has lots of fans to help combat the Texas heat and the timers displayed on a large monitor ensure that EVERYONE knows exactly when the next game is. Sean helped us with the rentals and made sure the equipment was organized, clean, and ready for the next person to use. Paul and John both did a good job at enforcing the rules and running fair games. We look forward to coming back when the larger part of the field is ready!!!

They truly bring the fun and the competitive aspects of this sport together, and it is very motivating. Here you can play casually for fun and exercise, or you can play competitively to unleash your inner CoD persona. Nowhere else in town will you find a dedicated field to this sport that is so professionally managed, accessible to all, and affordable to play.
