Amazing party bundle price, $200 for 2 hours, 2000 paintballs and gear for the entire party up to 20 people! Came on out for a birthday party on a hot summer day. The drive was nice and the place was very spacious and had several paintball areas to choose from. 18 & under has to have a permission slip/waiver signed. You can print out the PDF online from their website prior to arrival to save time.They do briefings on safety beforehand and the top to things to remember it seems is to not take your mask off or you get asked to leave the game,or leave.Something like that,anyway don't take your mask off and you will be fine. Don't put your dusty balls back in the gun or else It jams. If the paintballs fall on the floor they are no good to use anymore,set them aside. The boys had a blast playing and it was fun to watch. Next time I will play too.initially I thought it would be more running and I hate running.I was wrong,if anything it's sprinting and hiding.Maneuvering and strategy. Great place overall. I've been here multiple times over multiple years going back 15 years. I've personally never had an issue with the staff, just the opposite the staff have always been good. The rules are very clearly stated and continuously re stated. They are very clear of the consequences for not following them. read more

My girlfriend had her birthday party here. It was so easy to set up and the staff was very friendly. We were given our own pavilion for the party and we were allowed to bring our own food and drinks (no alcohol). We had a blast! Recently hosted a gellyball and low impact paintball birthday parties for my youngest and oldest boys. It was the first time playing for a lot of our guests and they all had a blast! I was really frustrated, paid for tickets online and planned to pay for the paintballs when I got there. This place had other plans and told us we "HAD" to buy these shirts for a special event which was really upsetting. The boys planned to have fun for a birthday and ended up having to spend an extra $80 just for shirts on top of the paintballs. I already paid for tickets and made the reservation prior. Should never be FORCED to buy a shirt that you don't need unless it states it when you make the reservation. read more

Honestly a great time. First we used a groupon to cover all of the fees for my party. That saved a ton of money as there were 10 of us. Yes you have to pay for paint but thats how all fields work. Then they we great on helping my friends who were new to the game. Their refs were really nice to. One, a young woman with a tattoo was super cool and understanding. Before the game started she helped me with getting my marker crono. Later, She went to fix a flag during one of our games and unfortunately all I saw from my angle was the mask. First off, my family and I had a blast. An absolute blast DESPITE the atrocious service and manners of the staff. Those kids think they are something special and were really rude. The boy in the cowboy hat in particular. Seriously a cocky arrogant punk with zero customer service skills. I wish I could speak with his daddy. Kid was rude and the main reason that I won't be going back. Which is a shame bc the field and family time we had were great. Price was pretty good. But cowboy hat....wow. The kids that work there greet you with "what's up?" they address your paint ne3eds with "what's up" they address your snack needs with "what's up?" Seriously ownership if you are reading this, you have a potentially huge oppurtunuty that you are allowing cocky punks to piss all over. Get those brats out of your business. read more

This place is awesome. I can't believe I'd never been here before!!! There are some serious paintballers that come out here ready to take everyone out. Sharp shooting mofos. This one dude looked all crazy dressed up ready to take people out that I nicknamed "the black ninja". He's actually the one that ended up shooting me in round 2... In the finger of all places!!! That smarted like a mofo as well, but not for long. The adrenaline rush is worth it. They give you directions on rules for each round, simple enough. Oh and never, ever.... Ever ever ever take your mask off while on the field or you are done for the day. They make that very clear. We went Saturday during the day so it was ridiculously hot, but they have beat the heat hours like on a Friday night from 8pm-midnight. How awesome is that?!? We also found a Groupon for a group of 4 if us.... Even better!!! I highly recommend this place!!! read more

Our refs and party hosts, Dylan Ahr and Sheldon Pruski were so kind and respectful. They catered to our party helping us choose the right types of games to play that also helped preserve the ammunition. Which as parents we greatly appreciated! They kept the fun going and always made sure everyone in our large group had air in tanks, balls in our hoppers, and must of all kept us safe. They totally ruin my son birthday, first we arrived around 11:30 am and the lady told me that O had to wait for more people to show up in order to play, we wait for more than 2 hours, I brought 2 of my friends so we can play, then when we were ready the same lady didn't let my son play because he was 9! So we were the only people in the place and she don't even try to understand that was my son birthday he was so sad and no mention the hour that I drove yo get there. read more

Do Not Attend. Spend your money elsewhere. Would be 0 stars if I could. Read more for the full story. I will start with some background. I've played paintball for many years. And have played at several fields around the country and enjoy the sport immensely. I've always played at another field in the SA area and never needed to go to paintball knights. A group of guys I work with decided they wanted to try out the nighttime games Friday night. This was the worst field/staff that I have ever been to. The worst I have seen. When you first drive in everything looks beaten up. The shop/office looks like it survived a tornado. They have absolutely no new gear for sell and no pro shop. Their basic rules. Most of their rules are standard for any paintball place. And nothing to exciting. They do however have a 20' "surrender" rule. This was supposed to mean that if you got to within 20' of an opposing player you could yell "surrender" instead of shooting him that close. What it wound up meaning is even if you had absolutely no way to shoot the player if you yelled "surrender" loud enough and repeatedly that the refs would go tell the other player he was out even if you were outside 20'. This was used and abused by the regulars and resulted in many hot tempers when the refs would not make the regulars leave the field when they where told "surrender. Another point of contention I thought was strange. The so called chrono. The max fps for them is 299, not unusual in itself. But no one checks it. The chrono booth does not have a ref stationed their to verify players who own their own equipment have it set properly. It's left to the honor system. This leads to my next point. The staff. They were only interested in talking each other up and anytime a question was asked by any member of my group all that was received was smartass comments and muscle flexing. When a couple players in another group had an issue with a particular regular they ignored their complaints. Even after several additional players made complaints. The rules were only enforced if you knew someone that worked there. They would warn a player who cussed one time. Then the next game the red himself would be cussing. Several times people holding their guns up and exiting the field were lit up. Being hit multiple times by the same person. Sometimes with no other players around them and the refs would not even warn the players. The night manager While walking back from a game he noticed a barrel socks that wasn't tight. He yelled to the entire group of players. A player called back asking who he was talking to. The manager came and got into the player who responded's face and proceeded to throw him of the property. The manager seemed to want to argue and honestly looked like he got a power trip from throwing people who paid to play out. The fields. While playing at night is a cool idea. Both temperature wise and just cool. It is poorly realized and executed. Some fields only have 2 lights. With the largest field apr 115 yards long being one of them. The lights are mounted on short poles and half the time looking downfield is spent trying to figure out how not to have a glare off your goggles or get into a position where your not looking into the light and actually be able to see someone. While there is quite a variety of field types the fields themselves need some serious patching and TLC. There are so many cracks and holes in some of the bunkers and standups that the safest place to be and not get shot through the bunker is on the ground or somewhere else completely. This is further complicated by the fact that they have failed to control the fire ants onsite and most on the bunkers are infested. After all this. I will definitely not return and neither will anyone that was member of the group I went with. It was so sad that I had to download yelp and make my first review about this field. Do not go to Paintball Knights. Do not spend your money here. It definitely lived up to the bad rumors that I had heard for years about the place and never again will they have the opportunity to make it right. Also. Be sure to read the non recommended reviews. It seems like many of my observations were shared by others. There is a much better field just down the road at Krossfire paintball. Which will be my next review. read more

Fields are decent but nothing special. The paint is overpriced. The bathrooms were dirty. I could live with all that - after all its paintball, but the refs were super rude and disrespectful! They threw several new people out of the park for breaking rules that they didn't even know existed. One ref even let a player walk off the field without his barrel sock on and then threw him out of the park for not having his barrel sleeve! Highly recommend skipping this place and going to one of the other San Antonio paintball parks. read more

Had a horrible time at a birthday party for 6th graders and would not go there or recommend it to any of my clients, colleagues, friends and family. The business refused after multiple requests by both myself and the party host to allow one (1) child to join the birthday party. The parents who organized the event were surprised when other children who did not RSVP showed up a party that had only 10 children RSVP, which turned into 20. My son, who RSVPed, was the 21st child and was told by the business manager that he could not join the party nor rotate in while another child sat out during a rotation to meet the minimum 20 person limit. The business managers response to me was that others took advantage of him in the past and he was not going to do. After multiple attempts in trying to reason with the business manager, he flat out refused to be flexible and work in my son on a rotation basis so that he could feel like he was part of the party and share what would have been a wonderful experience with his friends. The parent of the party were shocked that he was so inflexible and would not rotate. I even offered to pay extra for my son and that was just was not something he was going to do and blamed the host for not knowing his rules. I was left with the impression from the host that they just didn't know the rules or what to do. I reviewed their website and the party must have been a 20 person party for 2 hours. There are options for a 30 person party for three hours. I believe the business manager was trying to get the party host to pay for a 30 person party; but that was never brought up in from of me not the host while I was present. The business manager certainly did not offer any solution other that join adults, who are not part of the party. The end result was that my son cried in the car that he could not play with his friends and was made to feel not welcome. I am sure many of you are parents and may know what it is like to have your child feels alienated, separated and ultimately humiliated. All I wanted was to make my son happy at a party! The business manager could have been a hero to an 11 year old innocent child; but he chose to be hard about it. In my opinion, the business manager can certainly run his business like he wants and he did succeeded in protecting his business from an 11 year old (1 boy) who wanted to have fun at his business as part of a party he was invited too. We were there after 8pm and literally couldn't see anything on the field, they have absolutely atrocious lighting. Worst experience ever, and total Military Veteran Disrespect. We live in San Antonio and we drove a hour just for them to tell us that we must have 10 individuals playing or that we can't play. keep in mind that our party consisted of 7 individuals. The entire time we keep hearing the staff say that they wish people would leave so we can just relax. We arrived at 2:30 and stayed till 3:30 waiting to see if 3 people would show up so we can play. Don't even expect to wait in the shade at the tables provided, they said thats not allowed unless we have 10 people total. We waited in our cars for a hour and no-one even showed up. They don't even deserve the one star. Tracy the manager was on her phone texting the entire time with her staff. I even informed her how there website says nothing about having 10 people total to play, she said " there nothing she can do". I asked who owed this place i want to talk to them about how disrespectful they were being to us. Keep in mind that they are on the phones, and rolling there eyes when we would ask to just pay for the 3 missing people. At this point i asked for the owner of the establishment. Tracy said his name is Gregg but that she has a thing with him so its not like he going to do any thing. The people at this place are just terrible individuals, constantly rude and disrespectful. I can't even believe they are in business. Stay away from this place at all cost. I will never go back and am telling all my military buddies to stay away. read more

Have to wait around for thirty minutes for safety meeting when there is nobody there they could have easily have done it just then. I even asked and they said 10 minutes.
