I've been a precision tune customer for years. They are all individually owned but I recently started taking my car to this location. They are wonderful. Very helpful, professional, and will really work with you. They are honest, friendly and just great people. If I ever move out of the area, I will drive back to this location to get my car repairs. I highly recommend this location read more

Bad service! I was told the wait time is an hour. Two hours later the manager told me they cant service my car because they are behind. Why not tell me when I came in?? I also overheard the manager telling people on the phone that expected wait time is 30-45 minutes. The plus side is the place has a wi-fi and clean, but BAD SERVICE! read more

I always come here to get my car worked on. The staff is professional, helpful and friendly - especially Jacob who always makes sure I leave satisfied and happy. Highly recommend them! read more

We've been taking both of our cars here for the past 3 1/2 years. Jacob, who works the front desk, is always very helpful and very informative. Their services do not seem overpriced & they willing accept the coupons that their company mails to me. Highly recommend them. read more

Amazing service, particularly from Jacob. Listening to him support and help multiple customers with automotive needs and averting crisis. Half therapist- half mechanic. Always he'd proper care and service here over 7 years and 4 cars. read more

I would very, very strongly recommend that this shop be avoided. The manager, Al, is a wildly arrogant and deceptive person. He lied to me and told me that my car's stock brakes are ceramic. According to my local dealer, that is not the case. Al sold me vastly more expensive ceramic brakes on the basis of a lie. I do realize I should have investigated that myself in advance of the purchase, but I had no reason to expect that I would need to know what my brakes were made of. Further, he lied about giving my car a thorough brake inspection in advance of calling me with an estimate. He called me to advise me that he couldn't find my wheel lock key which prevented him from being able to remove the tires for the inspection at the same time that he called me with an estimate which is supposed to have been based on a thorough inspection of the brakes which, according to Al, necessitated the removal of the tires. He could not possibly have done a full inspection, nor provide me a complete and thorough estimate on the basis of that inspection if he had not yet taken my tires off. Moreover, when I left the shop, my car was out of balance. The balance problem had to have been created by the mechanics at this shop in the course of changing my brakes because two weeks prior to my brake change I had an alignment and wheel balanced performed. I drove a total of less than 600 miles between my wheel balance and my brakes being changed, which means normal wear and tear cannot explain that two wheels were "pretty far out of balance", which was how the manager at the shop who looked at my car after this shop did described my wheel situation. Finally, this shop stole $50 from me in the form of a brake fluid flush service. The brake line flush is somewhat absurdly not included in the price of the brake change (this may or may not be industry standard, but it's absurd nevertheless). I consented to the flush on the phone at the time of the estimate. It appeared as a charge on my invoice and I paid for the service. The manager of the shop who examined my car after I started having trouble with it after the brake change indicated that he was suspicious that the fluid flush had been performed properly or at all because the bolts on the line didn't look like they had been recently touched. After all of this, I had to contend with Al, the manager of this shop, and a guy named Ronnie, who is the NC Precision Tune customer service manager for the NC region, give me enormous attitude in response to my apparently totally valid complaints. Al accused me of being hysterical and of fabricating problems with the car arising from work done at his shop and he hung up on me when I called his shop to make a complaint about the problems with my car. Ronnie, the regional customer service manager, was mostly fine until he threatened to turn the conversation "ugly" when I insisted on detailed explanations of whether followup care for my car would be completely covered by Precision Tune. Overall, this was one of the worst retail and customer service experiences I have had in any industry. These people are unwilling to take responsibility for their actions, they feel comfortable lying to their clients, and they have no scruples about stealing money from their clients. This shop is a prime example of every negative stereotype that you've ever heard about deceitful, cheating auto repair shops. read more

They stayed late on a Saturday to get my car taken care of... Need I say more? Very friendly!

I cannot recommend this place. I called in scheduled an inspection - they said you can come now. When I came 5 minutes after I emphasized I was in a hurry. They promised they would take care of it immediately and it would not take long. After waiting 30 minutes I noticed my car on the parking lot anticipating it was not - they had not even started the inspection yet! read more

The staff is very friendly. Service is fast once they get your car in.. But it may take a very long time to get your car seen. I once waited almost two hours for an oil change, today I called ahead and asked if there was a wait, was told no, drove over (5 minute drive) and I've been waiting 45 minutes and my car still hasn't been seen. The mechanics are semi knowledgable, but I wouldn't get any work done to my car here, even if it's just the brakes, due to bad past experiences here. read more

I came in with a broken cylinder near closing time. I thought I'd get the typical come back tomorrow speech, but the Manager Al was great at telling me what my vehicles core problems were and was happy to assist in getting my vehicle fixed with reasonable rates. Glad to do business. read more

I took my 2012 Toyota tundra in for a tire rotation and oil change. After leaving I received a call stating that the oil filter cap was cracked and had been leaking.Since I park on the concrete driveway every night I was shocked. They told me it would cost $49 to fix the cap but I told them I wanted to see the damage first. I went by and picked up my truck after the oil change and tire rotation. Their small leak was literally pouring Oil after less than half a mile back to my house. I called them back and they said that it was like that when it got there. So I took pictures of my driveway went back over to show him pictures of my driveway that had zero oil stains. He again said that it was leaking when it came in. So while talking to the manager Al he stated that it was put on too tight at the last oil change and the tech must have cracked it when they took it out but still no offer to fix it. It's not the money because this is my company truck and they will reimburse me. It is the principle that they knowingly broke something and expected me to pay for it. I will never spend one more penny at that location and I would advise everyone to find somewhere else to have your oil changed. Robert Hight read more

Careful! I took my vehicle in to have my oil change and to do any easy replacement of a tail light. After receiving my vehicle back I noticed the light housing had been poorly placed back on. As a result, my tail light fogs up after it rains. I approached the manager and he informed me that it was already there. I assured him that it was not. He then proceeded to tell me that his employee informed him of the issue after the tail light had been taken off. If that was the case why didn't the employee tell the manager while the tail light was still on before taking it off. Even more so, why didn't they take a picture of it before they proceeded. Well, I will not be taking my vehicle back there. After taking my vehicle there for several oil changes I will be looking for a new place. read more

This place has quick, friendly service but you will pay through the nose for anything other than an oil change. Be prepared for them to find all sorts of problems with your car that may or may not exist. read more

I agree with the other reviewers who say that Precision gets customers in with the promise of cheap oil changes. They do. Just check the coupon prices. However, what happens during one of these supposed cheap oil changes, is that one of Precision's genius good-ole-boys informs you that SOMETHING else must be fixed on your vehicle or catastrophe will strike. Most of these supposed problems are inventions of the Precision staff to get more money out of you. I never let these guys do anything but change the oil, because, quite honestly, I don't trust them. read more

I'm very picky and specific about my vehicles. Having been in the business I'm aware of numerous schemes to increase profit. Being new to the area I vetted a few local shops and was impressed with John the assistant mgr. he answered all my questions with patience and intelligence. When I dropped off my car I met Al the manager (Looking at older reviews i think it's new management) He was also very easy to speak with and had NO attitude when I asked him to make sure a fender cover was used so tools or belt buckles wouldn't scratch the car. I dropped it off about 30 mins. before closing and told him I would pick it up at noon the following day. The car was ready, everything was completed and the price was exceptional. I have found my facility. Now if I could find a good chinese restaurant I'd be all set. read more

This is my second review. I went in for an oil and filter change last week and I paid for the oil and filter change and it was not done. I took my car later that week to Meineke and they showed me the filter that was taken out of my car and the filter # was different than the one on the receipt for Precision, proving that my filter was not changed by Precision. The tech for Meineke said that the filter was old and the oil was dirty. Ronnie from Precision asked for me to send an invoice from Meineke and I sent it to him and have not received a response or a refund. I know my car and you see this type of bad business practices on the news, but you never think it could happen to you. This is about principle. read more

I am very satisfied with this place. I have visited several times and they have the customers best interest in mind. I know something about cars so I ask them to show me when they say there is something wrong are they have been correct. The manager (Al) has been very good to work with. I understand that when I come in, I am not the only one there and they can not drop all others to take care of me but they are very good about working me in. This is not a "10 minute oil change shop" and quite frankly, I avoid those places. read more

Nice guys, but don't understand 2006+ German cars, or their oil requirements. They have never been able to reset the oil service indicator light on my BMW during the last three oil changes, I had to do it myself. Also informed me not to follow Mobil 1, BMW, or Audi recommend service intervals for synthetic oil changes @ 10K miles as that will destroy the car... the last time my wife was there she waited almost 5 hours and they left all the caps slightly loose, car was leaking oil from around the filter gasket and I had to top off a gallon and a half of coolant...spoke with the Manager who simply stated it couldn't happen here, and showed me their invoice stating she was there for an hour and a half?? I wonder if their service times are reviewed for performance by corporate management? so watch the time they log you in and out. I was happy to have some place close to have my cars routinely serviced, but I wont be back here. read more

Terrible customer service. Had me waiting in waiting room an hour and a half when I was just there to pick up car only then to be told my car won't be ready. Next day they tried to charge me $164 over what we agreed upon. Never going back! STAY AWAY!! read more

I live in Raleigh but was in the Wake Forest area so I had my oil change done there. They didn't top off all my fluids as indicated as I had a neighbor double check the work. When they opened the hood, they would also have had to see the extra chunk of leaves and debris that had accumulated there. They didn't even clean that out. In the past, at other locations this was done. I guess if I want my windshield wiper filled or topped off, I'll have to drive back there or go out and buy fluid (it's about half empty) even though I've already paid for this as part of the service. Disappointing. read more

We have had minor service and major service here and they were very up front with us on what needed done now and what could wait. They kept us informed as major service was happening with how long it would take etc. I have no complaints - as a matter of fact - taking my son's car down today to check what's going on with his AC. read more

I went there with a cheap oil coupon. The mechanic was trying to tell me my cost would be more even though I had the coupon. I still agreed to pay the extra, but while I was waiting a gentleman came in furious. The gentleman stated that he just got new tires and while he was driving just a bit down the road his tire came off. The mechanic did not tighten the lug nuts. The mechanic was not near apologetic enough so I kindly asked for my keys and left. read more

I just completed an oil change for the second time here. I am extremely happy with the services at Precision. I plan to be a loyal lifetime customer simply because of the extra care and the unexpected compensation they provided today. They are very professional. I would rather sit a few extra minutes and wait my turn if needed, than to go anywhere else. Don't be fooled by competitors offering cheaper discounts, these guys (and gals) are the ones to go to for any auto care need. read more

This morning was my first visit to Precision Tune. It was the worst experience in my life!! They quoted me a price for brakes and told me I would in and out quickly if I came in early before they opened. They say it's first come first served. I was the second person to walk in the building this morning. The person ahead of me was in and out in 45 minutes. They didn't even look at my car until two hours later. After they inspected the car, they said I needed the wheel bearing replaced which was very expensive. I didn't tell them to inspect the whole car, just do the brakes. Another hour and a half went bye and I asked how long will it take. The guy said it would be another hour. The clown at the counter kept saying one hour to everyone, but that was simply untrue. I was done at that point. They offered a discount, but they were very unapologetic. Al flat out said that they were passing me over for other cars. Wasted 3 and half hours of my Saturday morning on these clowns. There are a lot better places to go that will treat you with respect then this disgusting excuse for a business, Don't go here!! It will be a huge mistake!! read more

Well after dropping my car off for a simple fix I get quoted over 1k, dollars, after getting the call I say "no thanks". 6 hours the phone rings and they tell me they can do it for about half price but just do what I originally asked for... I thought about it, and called the Dealership the next morning... To my surprise they were cheaper.. How can the dealership be cheaper? read more

I carried my car in for an oil change, and when I got home realized the hood was damaged. It wasn't like that when I carried it in. I had just had it cleaned, and always inspect it. They wouldn't pay to fix it. The video of when it was there, conveniently disappeared. The manager was very rude to me. Would not recommend this place. read more

I have been there several times only because it is near my home. It has never been fast. Once a normal maintaince took me more than 2 hours waiting there with 2 small kids. The reason makes me stop going there is their service becomes way out! First, they did not check the window shied fuild level which I had already paid. I went back and asked if it was covered in my maintainance service, the front desk people just tried to avoid a yes or no answer, then in the end as I expected, it was covered, they just did not do their job. My front window the rain shied does not spray fluid, I have been there 3 times for the same problem, every time wait for more than 1 hours. The third time i told them I was disappointed, then they told me I should come to the brand dealer. If so, why just do not tell me early, why just waste my time? When I was there to pick up my car, the front desk guy kept on talking with another customer try to sell some service, he even did not bother to look at me. I had my two kids with me, waited for 15 mins, then i asked if I can just get my key. I gave my signature, got my key, it took 20 seconds, but had to wait 15 mins! I do not understand how can they make things so uneffective! I will never come there more! read more

I needed to have a new starter installed, so I went to Precision Tune. It only took an hour or so. Everything was fine... until it got dark later that evening. My headlights would not function, (the headlights have always worked fine) and I was unable to drive home that night. I took my vehicle back and they said that it had no connection to anything that THEY had done in connection to the starter. Still, I persisted until they agreed to look at it. After 45 minutes I was told that the fuse wasn't blown and that the headlights were receiving power, but they were unable to specifically locate the problem. They said that it would require a diagnostic to locate the problem. (at my expense naturally) I declined, since I have had the car for 4 years and I've never had any electrical problems with it before. I was told that it was most likely the headlight switch and that it would cost $159. to replace. Again, I declined. I went to Auto Zone and found the part for $21. So three screws and 10 minutes later, I changed out the light switch. Still...no headlights. I contacted my brother who is a master mechanic and had him look at it for me. After checking the electrical system he said "they were right...the fuse isn't blown....because THERE ISN'T A FUSE IN IT". It requires a firm thumb pressure to install a fuse, so there is no way possible for it to have dropped out. (even if it were inexplicably possible, the fuse would still have to be found on the floor board) It would have cost me between $250.and $300. if I had not been skeptical about their business practices. It only cost me $21. and some wasted time, so I guess I have to consider myself lucky to have gotten away from a business that operates in this manner. My advice is to stay away... far away. read more

absolutely no stars!!! they get you in that shop with a $16.99 coupon then charge an additonal $5.00. 2 days after they changed the oil my perfectly running quiet car the oil light was flashing??? then the car overheated??? my mechanic said when they checked the fluids, the cap on the reservoir for the radiator was loose so fluid leaked out. the oil cap was loose leaking oil! i said "what!!!" he said whoever did the oil change was careless and rushed the fluid check part and didn t know what they were doing! now as a result of the overheatting the head gasket blew. precision oil will never see another car of mine in there! i will never recommend them to anyone either! read more
