Synopsis - The only place I will go for tires or tire related issues from now on. I made an appointment online to get two of my tires checked out as they had screws in them. I want to give a huge shout out to Justin for taking a look at my Jeep right away and getting both tires taken care of. He let me know that the patch on my spare tire would probably take two hours, and in a surprising turn of events, I got a call that it was ready 30 minutes later. Can't lie, this was the vehicle experience you dream for when all of the thoughts run through your head about what could be wrong with your tires. Again, shoutout to Justin. The customer service representative was selling me a 3-year warranty package for a low price I was willing to pay, but when they did the work, they wanted me to pay double. They made me pay almost the same amount for a single service with no warranty or anything. They pretended that wasn't the case and just lied to me, playing the victim because I spoke Spanish and they thought I wouldn't understand. But I wasn't the only one who heard them; my father and another Spanish speaker believed me, not their colleague. read more

Went by here for my second time, Austin and Justin were outside when I pulled up and I asked about a nail in my tire. They immediately assessed the tire only to find out that the nail had gone in sideways into the tread and there was no leak. Pulled the nail out for free. Great second experience here! read more

When I was searching for new tires, this was the only place that had the Goodyear tire I researched and wanted. Although they were more expensive than other places I was willing to pay to get the type of tire I wanted. I made an appointment but they were very slow. I was told that the tire rims were loose but at the end of the appointment the guy showed me whatever they had snapped off so it seems they damaged it and instead of owning up to it made up an excuse. There were also a lot of extra fees so these tires cost a lot more than I anticipated. Lesson learned. But what really bothered me was I was told the car's alignment was off. I hadn't experienced any issues with the car tending to go one way or the other so I declined that service. They had also been recommending a lot of extras to others there so I was skeptical. When I went elsewhere for the alignment fix, I was told that the alignment was fine and didn't need any service. I will not be returning to Just Tires who flat out lied to me to make a buck but will take my car to an honest place. read more

I bought two tires here for my car because I was desperate, the car needed to pass inspection, the tires that were on it were down to the cords and this was the only place that seemed to be open on a Saturday afternoon. When I walked out I felt like I had way overpaid for 2 middle of the road (pardon my pun) medium quality tires. They started at about $70 apiece but at the end of the day the bill was over $170 due to "little things" that got added to the bill. read more

My experience varies greatly from previous reviews. The story: Slip -n- Slide were the ways of my tires. Rubber met road, but barely, because, like an Italian man in his 50's, I stereotypically had very bald tires! Just Tires was a place that (according to Yelpers) I was taking a risk on. But they seem to have a good reputation from some other people I knew. The goods: I got 4 Goodyear Tires (upper mid grade) with a 3 year fix or replace warranty and lifetime of the tires free rotation and balancing for my car - about $800 for all four. Obviously, no one likes to shell out that kind of money, but the product was good, the warranty was great, and the prices were comparable to other places in the area at the time. They also took me in about 30 mins before closing and never made any big deal about it. In fact, they were gracious hosts and treated us well. Bottom Line: My experience was great. Four stars just for the price (though again, it was comparable) being something that a late 20 something person doesn't want to shell out for. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I bought four new tires for my Ford E150 van for $800, I also purchased additional Road Hazard insurance on all four. Three weeks later while driving on Hwy 540 at 65 mph my right rear tire fell off. All 5 studs had completely sheared off and the tire passed me by. I was able to stop the van without too much damage. The police said we were lucky it didn't flip. My passengers age my two disabled daughters, both are in wheelchairs and both were very scared. I had my van towed back to JUST TIRES and was told by the manger that it's been 3 weeks and it's not their fault AND they're not going to do anything for me. They wouldn't even replace the tire that came off because I didn't bring it back to their shop! I couldn't find it, the police couldn't find it and neither could the tow truck driver. Came in after 6pm to replace my front tire, because I had a bolt in it. Nick Lord was so kind and friendly. I asked about annoil chsnge and was able to get it fone as well. The car was done by 720pm. I will continue to get my oil changed here. I'm very happy. read more

I had to have a new tire replaced when I discovered a screw in the sidewall and the tire could not be plugged. I was stunned to be quoted $320 for the single tire, though the manager did say she could do it for $280. I really had no choice as I was sort of hostage since my tire had to be replaced and I had business needing attention requiring my car. Anyway, while the service itself was fast, efficient and friendly, I was pretty upset when I checked the price of the tire and found it available for under $200 at 3 different places. I was also upset to learn that "we can do it for $280" meant acquire the tire, not balance and put it on - ultimate price here for the single tire, out the door - $331.13 Needless to say, my last trip to this business. read more

Well Just Tires you have just lost a valuable customer. I have spent more than $5000 with you in a very short period of time. I had road hazard on my truck tires and this past Sunday had a flat. I had no choice but to put a plug in the tire to get it home. Went in to the Just Tires that has always serviced the tires. Your new desk clerks first response was, "nope, can't touch it. Goodyear says that's an improper repair". Well since his ass was no where to be found on Sunday, I will find someone else repair the tire and for future services on my truck. read more

Oil change, tire rotation, and 3 year alignment plan. These guys are friendly, quick, and the prices are competitive. The best way to get a good deal is to visit their website and see the promotions. No problems here and I will be back. To the reviewer before me who commented on all the "extra" charges when he bought two tires: If you're driving your tires to the point that the wires are showing, then your judgement is obviously of poor quality and I will ignore your judgement about a repair shop. I thought in the past that this place was great and that they gave me good deals but really found out they were ripping me off. Went in today to get a brand new tire fixed (a tire this store just recently put on) and they told me that it couldn't be fixed or patched up. They insisted that I get a new tire. Never told of any delays except when went to front desk to see what problem was. When I complained about time spent waiting, Mike C. said "we should of told you about the delay" Really? Never again. I have never written a Yelp review but my terrible experience today made me sign up in order to post one. I was told ONE hour and 2 hours, 40 min, $100 worth of spoiled groceries later...I had two over priced tires for my car. I also feel like I had to negotiate more when I BOUGHT my car than when buying these tires. Since when did buying tires require this back and forth? I felt dirty after the entire experience. Shame on me for not researching this first. As I was sitting in the waiting room, I listened as the manager had to call someone and explain their car wouldn't be ready because they messed up two of her lug nuts and they were going to have to take the brakes apart, go in that way and replace two of her studs in order to get the lug nuts and tire off! Too bad zero stars is not possible. My wife's car (2015 Kia Optima) had a gash in the tire and unfortunately, more and more cars don't come with a spare - just a small compressor and a can of what amounts to fix-a-flat. I rode along as it was brought in on a flatbed and off-loaded. The next day when we came to pick it up, the wife spotted a dent in rear bumper even before we got out of my truck. When I brought it to their attention, they brought the paperwork in the rear of the shop and called the manager. When the paperwork re-appeared, it had little "x"'s all around the car and the service rep said "see - they noted the damage before they worked on it", which, of course was BS. Next, he offered to remove $20 of labor from $159 bill, saying he was sorry but that's all he could do, until the store manager called me. Next day Kenny(?) called, saying that possibly someone hit the car overnight while it was parked there! When I refused to accept that explanation, he stated that the hand-written notes indicated a pre-existing dent. When I told him that the notes had to have been added after the fact (because they weren't on the form when my wife and I viewed it) he simply said he would have to forward the claim to their parent company Goodyear and they would be in touch with me within 48 hrs. I requested a copy of the form that supposedly had hand-written notes and he said "he'll email it right over to me". Of course I never got a copy and today, 10 days later, Goodyear rep called to mimic everything Kenny said. Additionally, she stated the hand-written notes were on the back of the form and not typically shown to customers! In short, she said - "you're on your own". Bad business - stay away is my advice. Discount Tire has always been my go-to for their Customer Service and now I regret going to Just Tires to save a few bucks on flatbed fee. read more

My Mother visited here on 06/09/2016 to get tires put on her car. Her car is well maintained and needed new tires. When she left they told her she needed new brakes and rotors, as well as a new brake caliper on a front wheel. She had her brakes serviced and pads changed last year.... She asked me to look at her car when she experienced an obnoxious constant squeal/screech on her way home from the tire shop. I could not view behind the wheel well enough at home to diagnose the problem, and the front passenger rim was too hot to touch, so I went back to see if the guys could figure it out. They acted very strange when I requested that they investigate the new noise, and smugly remarked that they told her she needed new brakes and that was the problem. I made sure to get a quote printed for what they recommended be fixed so there was some documentation of this. *As listed: 1 set front ceramic pads, 2 brake rotors, 1 front right caliper, 1 set of rear pads. KEEP THIS IN MIND.* The tech, Justin H (062), got very rude and defensive when I explained that this heat and squealing problem did not exist prior to the visit. At this point I insisted they remove the problem wheel for me to look at myself. The guy at the desk, William W (021), told the tech to put the car up on the lift and the tech stormed out of the office in a tantrum like manner, slamming the door behind him. Once on the lift the brake rotor was scorching hot, indicating excessive friction. A quick peek from the back side showed that the metal shield on the brake had been bent in to make contact with the rotor. There was a visible depression on the shield where it was impacted by a tool, in an intentional manner. I pointed this out to the tech and the desk guy and his response was "Do you work for a dealership?" At this point I was fuming, that was enough of an admission of guilt for me. They just stood there so I took a screw driver and pried the shield back, told them to check and show me the limits on the rotors(which were no where near maximum wear limits), and told them to put the wheel back on. Talk about trying to bite your tongue or refrain from solving problems with violence. THIS IS MY MOTHER they endangered and took advantage of. The tech pulled my Mothers car around and slammed her door and made a remark I could not understand when he gave me the keys. They were bold enough to inflict damage to a cars safety equipment that compromises safety of the passengers as well as others on the road (excessive heat results in brake failure), and acted with NO regards to customer service. So I take to here to inform you of the malpractice and lack of ethics of this location and hope you do not shop here, for you or your loved ones' safety and hard earned money. Buying a set of tires for $460 was not good enough, they had to damage equipment in an attempt to sell $330 of unnecessary brake components. Based off of the quote that I had printed before digging my way to the bottom of this, and the damage that I discovered, and reactions I got, this was done 100% intentionally to take advantage of a customer (a friendly female driver with a credit card) they probably assumed would just easily agree and pay up once they experience a problem that is not easily pointed out. This is absolutely appalling and unacceptable. Please heed my warning and DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. EVER. read more

Not even worthy of one star. Purchased a brand new almost $200 tire just a few months ago and a bubble suddenly appeared. Called and was told that I either hit a curb or pothole, neither of which happened. I was also told that because I didn't purchase insurance on the tire, I was basically SOL. Meanwhile, I was never offered ANY type of "insurance" Given that I had already spent over $200, what was 20 more dollars really going to do? Justin, who I spoke with and I quote- "In all fairness, insurance usually isn't mentioned unless you buy a full set of tires." Impulsive. Just tires also previously failed to tighten an oil cap on a previous car of mine and it smoking on the middle of the highway (ran out of oil obviously). Oh and they also told me I could put regular oil in my current car, when in reality it takes FULL synthetic. I refuse to ever step foot in this store again. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Used to be great. I have gone to this store and the Just Tires in Raleigh on Capital Blvd. many times over the last few years. Over the last couple of months there seems to be a decline in customer service. I went there in May and the younger guys up front were gossiping about the guys that work in the back. While I thought that was unprofessional, I blew it off and went back in July for a flat repair. When I called them in July about the nail in my tire, it took the gentleman that answered the phone 10 minutes to pull up my road hazard information and then he told me that I just need to come in to discuss it because he was confused. I told him that I need to make sure that I have road hazard before I have my car towed up to his store and that I need this information over the phone. He placed me on hold and finally came back to the line and started talking about our other car, after I told him several times which car I was calling about. The service at this store is night and day from how it was just 6 months- 1 year ago. They used to provide excellent and friendly customer service and used to really care about their customers. read more
