If i could give a ZERO star, I would!!! Beware of Precision Auto Tune and Cedric. My first issue started toward the end of January with a low coolant problem. I took the car back again in March, and after keeping it for 2 days, they returned it with more problems than before. The second time, I was told the hose and related coolant issues had been fixed, but the very next day I could not drive for more than 5 minutes without a dashboard warning saying the coolant was too hot and I needed to shut the car off until it cooled down. They even returned my car with the towing metal still attached, which shows how careless they were. I then took it to a dealership that actually seems to know what they are doing, and they quoted me for the same repairs Cedric claimed had already been fixed, including the hose. Cedric has taken no responsibility, even though I paid for services that were never fully completed. Very disappointing experience. Beware. read more

I had a Groupon promotion for a $35.99 - which is a great value. I haven't received the vehicle back, therefore I will comment on the customer service at this time. An employee, wearing the name tag "Chung", greeted me after I had rung the bell. The best word I can think of to describe our interaction is "uncomfortable". His tone and body language made me almost turn around and leave the shop. Now, I forgot to inform him that I had a Groupon after he had rung me up for the oil change. He begrudgingly said, "now I have to redo it again", grabbed the invoice paper, crumbled it, and aggressively threw it into the trash. I was bewildered - the redo took him literally 5 seconds. Depending on how the service goes, I will decide whether or not I'd return here. Affordable service is not enough to warrant bad customer service. Need oil change and inspection and this place was great. I had made appointment at near by auto place and was still in long wait line. I looked on Groupon and this place was two blocks away. I bought 34.00 synthetic oil change and drove here. Service was fantastic- AJ the young lady at service counter was awesome!! Great service and fast. Was only here maybe 35 min. I started going here using a Groupon for my oil changes and haven't looked for another shop since. Robert the manager doesn't push other services. He recommends services and when he sees something that needs to be done, he takes you into the shop and shows you what the problem is. I needed to leave my car today and instead of having to call an Uber he had one of his guys drop me off. I can not recommend this shop enough. read more

I've had some bad customer service experiences, but this one definitely takes THE WORST. After getting an oil change from here, I noticed my car was leaking oil all over my driveway a couple days later. I called and spoke with the Manager Robert, he told me to bring it in to the shop and they would take a look at it. I did not feel it was safe me driving my car low on oil with my daughter, after going back and forth about how tows are not covered and telling me it's "not unsafe" to drive it, he offered a tech to come to my house and check/fill the oil, so I could drive it in. By this time, I had already left a message with corporate. Spoke with Abel, the Regional Manager. He ended up being just as rude, if not more rude than the store Manager. I asked for a refund and my driveway to be cleaned. He told me to pick and choose one, because I can't have everything I want and I have to consider they are a business. Expecting me to have any consideration for a business after my experience up to that point is laughable. Skipping through, they fixed the issue. Supposedly faulty gasket. The day I was expecting to have the tech attempt to clean my driveway, I texted Abel (as he directed me to reach out to him on his cell if I needed anything) and asked when the tech was coming bc I had been waiting over an hour. After giving me some BS he was at the doctor excuse, I told him ok, I would have appreciated someone update me that it wouldn't be 9am anymore. Abel then called me and told me to not contact him anymore bc he's not going to let me walk all over him and that my car was fixed and when they get there for my driveway is when they get there. Then said if I needed anything I can wait 2 weeks for when the owner is back in the office. (I have yet to hear from the owner.) He proceeded to speak over me and I just hung up. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I BEEN SPOKEN TO LIKE THAT FROM A BUSINESS, LET ALONE A BUSINESS THAT HAS CAUSED ME SO MUCH INCONVENIENCE. **Cherry on top of it all is Abel downplayed my oil leak and said "being in this business this happens a lot, it's not a big deal to us like it is to you." Needed to get an oil change today & I found this place on Groupon. I'm from Cali. So I appreciate the friendly service. Great deal & even better service!!! Owners & Management are really nice didn't try up sale anything! I recommend this place 100% This is just cause but while siting in the waiting area the Manager was helping this customer he was friendly & very informative just caring about his customer goes a long way. The location was close to home. I stopped in in the morning. I was the only one so I got immediate service. However, after I waked in, about four more customers came in. They were all attended to efficiently and everyone, including me, got great service. I needed some other work done. The manager explained what needed to be done and gave me a quote. Although I said I'd get it done later, he did not pressure me to get any additional work i didn't intend to get. Very honest, patient, and well-run shop. If I could give this business a 0 star rating I would. I took in my college son's car to them 5/04/23. The car was blowing hot air. Per tech, I needed a new AC compressor. $1,246 later I think this is it. I park son's car in garage and do not use it. A month later, I took it out for a spin. A/C not working. I take it back in. Tech lets it slip it was a $20 part. Manager then tries to gaslight me and explain how they MISSED that too, but I needed a new compressor. My level of trust is at zero for this place. I have NEVER had a problem with PEP boys or anyone else. I took car to this place to give small business an opportunity. What a costly mistake. Be warned. They are extremely unprofessional!! It was my first time there and no one greeted me. The fat, lazy manager watched as I struggled with trying to find help and only acknowledged me once I parked in the wrong spot. He also used terms like "This ain't Jiffy Lube". I mean it's clear it's not because they greet you and tell you where you need to go. After all that, the man had the nerve to suggest I get something other than an oil change done there. I went to this location on 6/27/20. My check engine light was on and it was reading Cylinder 6 misfire. I was told by the manager Able Cylinder 6 misfire means the #6 Ignition Coil is bad and to replace it and that would fix the issue. I paid $156.99 to replace it. My check engine light has came back on. I took it to the Dealer today had them do a diagnostic and it's reading Cylinder 6 misfire again. I was ripped out of my money and I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This is highly unacceptable. read more

I used a Groupon here for an oil change and a tire rotation. At the end they gave me a long list of things that were wrong with my vehicle and emphasized how my serpentine belt and rear brake pads were really bad and needed to be changed immediately. They said my rear brakes were on 10%. I was nervous about the price for both parts to be replaced and decided to have both checked by another shop. Apparently neither were in bad condition and the shop was only trying to scam me (assuming because I am a girl and wouldn't know better). Fast and efficient oil change. However, a 10% surcharge was added for "shop supplies". I'm sorry but basing the shop supply charge strictly on a percentage of the total bill is just adding to the profit margin and should be disclosed to the customer in advance of work being done. My boyfriend came here to get my car's oil changed and couple days later after My car was leaking oil that I didn't know of until my car started to make a weird dry sound to the point I had to call my dad to check on it and it almost caused me a new car. So I told my boyfriend about it and he contacted this company & they told him they will offer him a new oil change apparently they twisted their words and said they wanted to check my car the next day after the incident which they never freaking say that. So if I were you and had a problem with them, it's best to confront them and get it written on a paper & go to them ASAP. I live on the other side of town & didn't have time to come back and my car probably wouldn't have made it without the damn oil.... and obviously who wants their work after that? good thing they refuse to give me a free oil change bc I don't want to go through that again. read more

I bought a groupon for $49 for a full synthetic oil change. After I went in I was told it would be an extra $30 cause I would need more. The only reason why I stayed and did not go to Toyota is because he said it would take 30 to 40 minutes. I stayed cause I needed it done fast but an hour and 15 minutes later it was finally done. Needless to say, I was late to get back to work. Also felt like I was talked into buying things that I could have gotten cheaper somewhere else or had done myself. I was also told that a K&N filter was not worth it and should just get it changed with them basically. Now I know that was not the 100% truth based upon all the reviews of K&N and the fact that they are reusable. I believe in 100% honesty and I felt as if this was not the case at this place. I will definitely not go back and will be going back to the Toyota dealership from now on. $150 dollars later. read more
