Friendly service, quick & transparent pricing! Mary was very kind. A previous employee (who no longer works there) messed something up and she was very apologetic and helped me fix the issue. This was my 3rd time there and I will continue to go back for oil changes. read more

Horrible! Every time I go here it's always something. The mechanic who did my oil change got in my car while smoking and pulled it into the bays. After my oil change was complete they wrote down that oil had started to leak because the oil cap was on to tight...they're the only ones who have done my oil change. A manager told me to bring it back in the next day and said that wasn't the problem which was confusing because that's what they wrote. They refunded me for the oil change since employee was smoking in the car. read more

I came in here at 9:42 and it's now 12:50 , for an oil change . I've watched people come in and out since I've been here and it should not take 3 hours for a oil change . I wouldn't recommend this shop to ANYONE , very slow service . I don't care what the others were coming to get done . If i came in first i should be serviced first . I don't know who is running this establishment but i was better off finding a crackhead on sugar creek to service my car ! read more

I went there for a simple inspection and arrived at 1pm and left at 4pm. I understand if there's people ahead you have to wait, is common sense. But they actually passed 2 people ahead of me that arrived after, one of them being a managers friend (I know this because I heard the manager on the phone with her and when he was done he told Anthony his friend was coming and how he should get her car right in). When I asked they said is because they were oil changes (more complicated than a simple inspection but whatever) and the guy who does inspections was changing an oil pan. So you mean to tell me that someone comes for an inspection, first you never say hey it might take a while cause the only person doing them is doing this other thing. And second of all, one of the people who they put in front of me also did an inspection but I guess the guy wasn't busy for her. Finally after standing up for myself the guy that does inspections did mine literally in 10 mins. Well, then the same guy (Anthony) at the front desk started to socialize around the whole shop and after 20 mins of my car being done and sitting there doing nothing, and because I asked him to check me out, that's when he finally does. Never again will Anyone find me in this place. If you value your time you better not go there or take the whole day off cause they are definitely playing games. Another customer was also complaining (who got there after me) because she was told 40 mins and was there for over two hours. When I heard Anthony say to her 40 mins... lolll I was like, sister be ready cause I got here before you and they haven't even got my car inside the shop. So good luck. i've worked in sales for car dealerships before and I know mechanics get paid by labor so apparently simple inspection is not good so they just let it linger putting in front whoever got jobs that will pay them more. That was evident today.. two more people had arguments today there with Anthony, this guy shouldn't be working here but he's not the only problem there. The technicians though seem to be great. They never once stopped working!! The main problem there is Anthony and the manager and the way they handle priorities there. Every person's turn should be respected regardless of what it is they are doing.. I swear in my 42 years on this planet I have never felt more pushed to the corner of being aggressive!!! I am not that person or that type of customer, but also need to stand up for yourself. I felt so uncomfortable for being put in a position where I had to complain cause God knows I hate that, but I can't let irresponsible unprofessional people step all over me. I mean, is just unbelievable, i felt like I was in a high school playground where bullies were having a blast. read more

First time in Charlotte and was in need of a quick oil change. I tried a Precision Tune Auto Care closer to my house and they said they said they couldn't take me 45 minutes before closing. So I decided to drive an extra 20 minutes to this Precision Tune Auto Care they took me in last minute and they were closing up for the day. Hospitality was great and I felt like my car was in good hands. Will return ! read more

I came in for an alignment and Megan at the front desk was very nice and personable. The other two managers (one visiting & Omega) didn't say so much as a simple hello until UNTIL issues began. We start chatting and customer calls in with an issue to previous service she's received the manager Omega begins conversing with her other employee about how annoying the customer is and other rude comments. Malik initially started on my car 20-30 min after Megan told me he had stripped the bolt trying to get it off and were shopping around at other stores trying to replace at no charge to me. About 25 min later the manager Omega spoke, & walked me out to the bay and showed me some rust under the vehicle, explaining that is why it broke. I wasnt advised before they started working on my car that there would be a possibility the bolt can break and additional parts would need to be replaced. After about 1 hr after i went to the bay just to watch Jeff was now working on it and Malik told me the bolt was moving slowly but surely. About 30 min after Omega told me they were having a hard time getting it off and would need to replace ( left lateral arm) additional parts in order to complete the alignment (i would have to pay for the additional parts). I told Omega that i would rather shop around first and if they could just replace the stud/bolt they stripped so i could drive off. She told me there is no other option but to replace because i can no longer drive my car. So as it seems i only have one option so i agreed to buy the extra parts. The customer who was on the phone earlier comes in around this time (she wasn't annoying at all btw) and she was kind enough to bring me a snack later on as she saw i was there all day & not leaving anytime soon. I asked about how much longer and was told by Omega the parts were here and it would take 40 min at 2pm. As i stood by the bay watching Malik(he took back over) he looked almost as confused as i was picking up the different size wrenches several times trying to find the right fit. Eventually he moved from the back of the car to the front (after only sizing the wrenches for bolts). Around 3:45 an older couple arrives with some torches for Malik, after struggling for about 20 min with the torches a manager helps him light them. Another 15 min pass then i asked Omega again how much longer she asked Malik and he said 20 min. He lowers the car and says he's going to test drive, before he lowers it i ask if he can show me the new part that they replaced, he then grabs Omega to show me because he can not and also refers to it as the "thing". Im going to add pictures but the new lateral arm looks just as rusty as the old. On the test drive i go with, we quickly noticed it's pulling to the left. Its now 4:30 and it is being lifted back up in the bay. I feel like at this point they are rushing to get me out having been I've been here since 11:43AM . He didn't even check the air pressure in my tires before trying to push the car out. As i am waiting i see the sign out front (pictures will be added) says $49.90 alignment special. I asked Omega if they could honor that since I've been here ALL day. She said no because that is only offered if you get other services as well. Its now 5:05pm and i am starving (only one option for food within walking distance of the area), head is throbbing and i am leaving unsatisfied. First and last time here. read more

Very friendly and helpful staff! Took an hour and a half to get my oil change but I was fine with that since it was the weekend! I would definitely recommend this place! read more

This is my second time here. The first time I came on a nice day so they were busy (expected) and I chose them soley because they were open on sunday. I just needed a basic oil change, waited 2 hours, but it was done so no complaints. They gave me a loyalty card (buy 4 oil changes, get the 5th free) so I came back. This time when entered I waited over 5 minutes at the counter to be greeted, then was almost turned away because the wait was so long (over an hour at least). The guy at the counter wasnt pleasant, didnt thank me for coming back or patiently waiting. Then the next person who came in (a guy) was treated much nicer. Maybe because I was just paying for a "bare bones oil change" (his words) I didnt require customer service. They do not take appts. Not recommending. read more

Dishonest practices! I went here yesterday and they did not pass my car over ridiculous things. They said the light to my license plate was out so my car wouldn't pass & also that they needed to do much more work on my car in order for it to pass. I sensed that they were lying in order to charge me more and run up the bill. I decided to take my car to another garage to see if I was correct. I was! The garage I went to today passed my car with no issues at all and found no "problems" for which to ( over ) charge me. Also I was warned by a business owner in the neighborhood where this Precision Tune is located not to go here as I was waiting for my car in his place of business he informed me that they had messed up work on his car when he took it to them & he no longer goes here. Don't go here dishonest practices!!!! Trust your instincts! read more

I was a loyal customer up until 6/26/20. Lenny or whatever his name is needs to be fired. He was rude before I even stepped in. I genuinely forgot all abt the measures for COVID so I called to see if they were doing walk ins. He says something weird like "oh we don't do walk ins on the weekends" I think he realized it was Friday so then he's like "Like Fridays Mondays. We do walk ins" I was like "okay well it's Friday" in a rude way he said "correct so come in" like WHAT are you talking about??! So I was already irritated by that. I get in and he was just rude and condescending the WHOLE time!! I'm coming in about my car shaking and he's trying to give me AN OIL CHANGE!!!! I didn't need another oil change for 2000 miles!!! Then he tells me that I was recommended for all this stuff for my car and I informed him no one told me about it he goes "well did you read your paper when you left here" EITHER WAY NO ONE TOLD ME I NEEDED THINGS DONE TO MY CAR!!!!! He notices I didn't have a tire rotation registered with them and then proceeds to say he's afraid to rotate my tires but is going to change my oil I just left! How was that going to fix the shaking of my car?!?! There's usually a lady there and she's really nice. ANY WAY LENNY I NEEDED MY TIRES ROTATE! Thanks for NOTHING! Definitely won't be returning. read more

I have been coming to this Precision Tune and Auto Care consistently for nearly 2 years. As a female I am very cautious when I go to a mechanic to avoid being taken advantage of. Thank you DANNI and team! read more

I came to Precision Tune on the recommendation of a neighbor. What I found was an auto repair business that was 100% honest. They had the opportunity to tell me I needed all kinds of work on my car, and I would not have known any better. Instead, they were 100% honest and completely happy to only perform the repairs that I really needed. Thanks, Precision Tune! read more

They didn't Top my fluids off didn't check my tire pressure and didn't fill my oil. When I called back to tell the manager about it she lied and told me she watched him do it. I wouldn't advise anyone to go to the albemarle rd location. read more

Waited 2 hours for my oil change and when my car was returned it was broken and I explained to Lenny before leaving that the sensor light on my dashboard was not there when I came. He also confirmed this with the mechanic that the light was not on previously. Lenny(stupid) told me to drive and at 50mph it would calibrate and go away. I didn't and when I called back he told me to come so they could fix it. But when I got there the addict looking DM offered me to pay for the part while they pay for labor. I was loyal to precision against my better judgement having seeing these problems happen to others in the past. Their mechanic drove my car onto the lift and scraped and broke the sidewalk of the tire but instead of them just replacing it they much rather put myself and my 4 kids in harms way. Needless to say I'll make a review on every platform, a YouTube , solicit the BBB, and sue in small claims because of the principal of this situation. This rinky dink franchise is unethical and there isn't much hierarchy of employees who want to help customers. read more

On 9/12/2016 I went into Precision for an oil change and a tire rotation. Since my car was in the first bay, I kept an eye on it the entire time I was there and noticed that the rear passenger tire was never removed from my car. When I was notified that my car was finished, I was presented with an invoice with the tire rotation listed as completed. I mentioned to the clerk that I believed the tire rotation had been forgotten but he assured me it had been done. When I told him that I watched the car the entire time and was sure that was not the case, he went to speak with the mechanic. After a few minutes, I was presented with a story that the tires could not be rotated because my shocks and struts needed replacement for $1,050.00. The clerk claimed that the tires were chopped up as a result of my poor shocks (my tires were just a year old and on their second rotation so this did not seem logical). After an argument at the counter, the clerk removed the charge for the tire rotation and I immediately went to another mechanic. As you might expect, I had no shock/strut issues and had my tires rotated. In conclusion, this shop should be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS. In addition to being dishonest by recommending unnecessary repairs, the mechanics are basically LAZY as they don't even do the simple tasks that you are giving them business for. After leaving, I had doubts that my oil had even been changed. The auto repair business is a disgustingly dishonest business to begin with, and Precision Auto Tune on Albermarle Road in Charlotte is the bottom of the barrel. read more

Had to get an inspection today so I could get plates on my "new" used car and they helped me out. I would pick zero stars if I could. I will never give my business to Precision Tune Auto again. My prescription Rayban glasses were stolen by an employee. I only use them to drive and later that day I went to put them on and they were not in the case but had been replaced by an old pair of sunglasses that I keep in my car. I had just worn them that morning so I knew the only person who could have done that was the oil change guy. I immediately went back to the location that same day and let the manager know. I filed a police report that same day. I was assured by the manager that it would be taken care of and they would be replaced. I never heard anything back and was told their corporate customer service would handle it. Ronnie with corporate customer service would never call me back and I was never reimbursed. We were finally told today by the new manger that the employee was fired but they would not replace my glasses (he called Ronnie). They didn't even offer to cover my oil change. So now I'm $400 in the hole and can't see to drive. You guys should be ashamed! read more

THE WORST ESTABLISHMENT I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. In the past I came here a lot due to the low prices and the convenience of the shop being only 10 minutes away from my house. However, this day, I came into the Auto Center on the 9th of August for a standard NC inspection. When entering, I had asked the front desk staff Richard for assistance and mistakenly let him know it was my first time getting an NC inspection since I had just transferred my plates over. Waiting patiently, I received the news that I had failed my inspection due to a power steering pump leakage. As he quickly quoted me for a 585.00 dollar fix, plus take my money for the inspection, he then rushed me out to be on my way. Thinking that the price was absurd, I had called around a few places to see where I could get the part fixed for a lower price. I had called PepBoys and they had asked me if the mechanic had shown me the leak before leaving the establishment. I said no and he told me to come by the shop so he could take a look at it. As I'm waiting patiently for the diagnosis of my power steering pump, the mechanics had assured me that 1. Power steering is not a requirement to pass/fail the NC inspection and 2. My pump was in fact NOT leaking. I am completely disgusted at the way Precision Tune Auto Care tried to CON me and play me like a fool. Instead of getting 585.00 out of me, they only ended up with 23.00 for the inspection that they didn't properly do. I will NEVER be taking my car there ever again, nor will I recommend this place to anyone! If you do go to this establishment, ask to not have your car looked at by mechanic DAVID CARTER as he will find NOTHING wrong with your car but then play you like he had. I'm appalled by this act of customer service and I hope people take the time to read this review as it might help more 24yr old women who know nothing about cars and who just moved here from out of town. It will save them a lot of upset and anxiety. read more

First of all great prices on an oil change!!!! Every time I go I'm not scared I'll get a laundry list of things that don't really need fixing, and extreme prices. I came to Precision Tune today for a basic tune-up, turned into a 3 hour nightmare. They broke-off a spark plug inside my engine and was having trouble removing it. The Manager immediately shifted blame to me by stating if they could not remove it, they would have to send the engine to a specialist for removal which was going to cost me several hundreds of dollars. After continuing trying to remove plug, he also stated he was going to have to charge me and additional $45 hrs for the mechanic's labor. I was completely astounded by his comments, because the responsiblity should have been on the mechanic for breaking-off the plug in the engine. This showed me that the Manager (Luke Sidham) would say or do anything to cover for his mechanic's incompetent. In the future I would never ever go the another Precision Tune, they are completely unprofessional and most of all,,,untrustworthy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

i will not be taking my car there anymore they are very dishonest told me my car failed inspections and gave me a invoice of what i need to repair it, i took elsewhere they found nothing wrong with it, also my daughter took her car to the 1 on north tryon, her car fail, funny thing told her her car had same issues they told me, gave her also invoice on what need to be done to pass the inspections, i went to get battery check , told me i need a battery costing over 200.00, i was shocked, then they wanted to charge me 39.00 for checking it, i made a fuss of it , that they should have told me upfront that there would be a charge, so he reduce charge to 27.00, so i took car to auto zone, it was not battery it was alternator problems,so i said hmm , so i took it to auto advance on north tryon, the test shoued it is alternator problems, so what do this tell you people. read more
