Fantastic Experience!…read more Kathleen and her team are amazing! It was a fantastic experience from the beginning to the end of our first landscaping phase. Our first contact with Petro Design/Build Group was with Tricia, who walked us through the process, answered our questions, and put us in contact with Kathleen to schedule our consultation. Tricia is very professional, personable, and a joy to talk to. Kathleen arrived at our home for the consultation - not just on time but early. Immediately, we were greeted with a smile and a kind nature. We walked her through the yard, and she asked us what we were looking for. She is extremely easy to talk to and is very engaging in listening and suggesting options. The whole time she took notes, which was refreshing to see since previous landscapers we consulted just nodded and provided a design that did not meet any of our needs. She evaluated the slope of our yard to determine the wetter areas and took measurements. When she was done, she told us she would have a design for us by the end of the following week. We had our consultation on Friday, and she actually had our design emailed to us that following Monday. She provided a detailed sketch with multiple concept options and walked us through each area of the design. She responded quickly and answered all of our questions completely. She was always patient and understanding and never once did the process feel overwhelming. For once, we felt included and comfortable with every step of the process. Once our HOA approved her design, we were scheduled in for the first phase of our landscaping project - the front yard. She arrived the first day, preparation day, before the landscaping installation team. She went over her design ensuring measurement and placement of plant beds. Once Matt and his team arrived, Matt and Kathleen walked through everything before the team started the planting prep. Matt and his team are very courteous, professional, and extremely hard workers. We have terrible soil in our yard. It is a new build, so not only hard clay soil but plenty of construction debris throughout. They powered through removing grass, manually tilling in compost (due to nearby utility lines), and hauling away all of the debris. The second day was planting day! Kathleen arrived with all of the native plants and the trees were delivered. Kathleen and her team laid out all of the plantings according to the design with a few last minute tweaks that were perfect. She then walked us through the layout and checked if we were happy with the layout before any planting occurred. The team did an amazing job of planting everything and incorporating a few transplants. I cannot say enough about what an amazing experience we have had! We are excited to start our next phase this in early fall.

360 Contracting Group - Nothing better than enjoying a summer afternoon on a beautiful patio with family!

We recently worked with Nick and his team to finalize a major backyard project. We had a small deck…read morethat was replaced with a raised one and we found ourselves with room underneath the new deck for a nice patio. Also, we were unhappy with the amount of room on our pool deck so we wanted to expand it a little bit. We also had problems with an old paver walkway that had become very uneven. I met with 4 companies about the project and we ran into some that were very cheap, but could only do one part of the project; another that decided that he didn't have the manpower to do the work after all; and one more that started our phone conversation with: "What's your budget?" and that company was only concerned with our budget. They showed up to look at the project, came up with grand ideas, and then I never heard from them again- until I gave them a bad review (funny how that works). Finally, I heard about 360 from a friend and I got in contact with Nick, who responded through his website within a couple of hours. Right away, I got a great feeling that Nick understood what we wanted to do, and he made great suggestions that were excellent, and still within a reasonable price range. Nick came back with a proposal within a few days and work began within a couple of weeks. We could not be happier with the way things turned out. Nick, Jose, and team created a beautiful Techo-Block paver patio under our deck, complete with stair and retaining wall lighting; they replaced our walkway; and they used some of our old pavers to expand the pool deck. The team worked really hard to get this work done and the results are fantastic. I highly recommend Nick and 360 Contracting Group, they take a lot of pride in the work they do and they keep their word. Please take a look at the before and after pictures, it's a dramatic change. So many people have horror stories about contractors, but this one is a terrific one. You just hope to hire a company who isn't trying to break the bank in one job; shows up on time every day; and doesn't change your price during the project; and most of all does a great job- and we found that in 360. Thank you, Nick, Jose, and team- you are outstanding people and craftsman.

Totally unsatisfied with Total Stone Construction patio flagstone installation and the Project…read moreManager's lack of interest in correcting his production team's work. Do not recommend (at all). Alexandria, VA. Project Manager Gabriel H. arranged for prompt installation - occurred within one week of my acceptance of his proposal. Installation was completed in one full day. (In hindsight, have been wondering if short cut was taken that contributed to the unacceptable installation.) In mid-June 2021, I paid over $7000 for Eastern Ridge Flagstone South Blue to be installed over an existing 10 X 15-foot concrete patio. Within 12 (repeat 12) days, my patio looked like crap after one rain shower. Totally unacceptable: blotched patio. Botched job. This is Total Stone's business (profession), yet the Project Manager Gabriel H. did not tell me the flagstone might significantly bleed (in a record time of 12 days). Over 50% (plus/minus) of the stones bled to copper. Where did the blue flagstones I selected go? Down the proverbial toilet. Within 12 days of installation, my patio has no similarity to the day of installation, nor the brochure photo I was shown, nor like the sample stone I selected. Walking around my neighborhood, I still have not seen flagstone in the same condition as mine. Project Manager Grabiel H. used a cement that caused an unnatural frame to appear around 50% (plus/minus) of the stones. In fact, Gabriel informed me that this had occurred on other of his installations. After insisting he come in person to discuss with me, Gabriel has not delivered to correct the installation. In September, Gabriel said that if I wanted stones replaced, I would have to pay 50%. He also insisted that the solution -- to remove the unnatural framing -- was to power wash. Which he said he would do once his summer season was over. (Summer ended 9/21/21 and no follow through.) The fact that the Project Manager had prior similar issues and still used it is nonsensical. I object totally that I was not informed the flagstones could bleed within two weeks. I do not recommend TOTAL STONE Construction or the Project Manager Gabriel H. (Okay, unless maybe you want to engage the BBB to assist you.)

Selected a "South Blue" color from a brochure I was given. Installation was done in one day (perfect weather). Day of installation I was pleasantly surprised -- work completed, trash removed, a patio that looked close to the brochure photo. Then.....12 days later my bluish-flagstone turned into something I did not bargain for: after a gentle rain approximately half of the stone turned copper color and a frame around each stone. Owner's theory does not make logical sense (as not all the stones are affected) and that a power wash will correct the issue. Not acceptable: a blotched job. Owner appears to want me to go away. Difficult to recommend under these circumstances.
