On the day of the procedure, I arrived at 6 a.m. after driving an hour, having taken the required pre‑procedure medications to dilate my cervix, which caused significant discomfort and bleeding. When I checked in, I was told the procedure would not be performed because Dr. Brenner had decided to go on vacation. The office claimed they had tried to call me but could not leave a voicemail. Despite having my email address and several weeks to notify me, they never emailed, mailed a letter, or attempted any other form of communication. The staff that morning was dismissive and showed little empathy for the situation, especially considering the preparation involved. They also offered no assistance in helping me recover the anesthesia deposit I had already paid to the third‑party provider. Based on this experience, I found the practice to be unprofessional and unreliable. I would not feel comfortable trusting them with future care.

I saw Dr Diab…read more First of all, do not let the scheduler experience convince you to go somewhere else. She tried to tell me I had to make separate appts for each issue. The waiting room was crowded, but staff is very nice. The doctor went through all my concerns and was very calm and thorough. My issues warranted medication, and for each he told me when I should see results by, and to reschedule if I didn't. He asked additional history questions to assure there couldn't be any other causes. When I realized a medication was not called in and I was missing some notes I called the office. The doctor called me back personally, called in the missing medication, and clarified anything my notes were lacking. He also apologized for the error. And again, asked if there was anything else. I had not had a physical exam in roughly 4 years and decided it was time to do something about it…read more I had tried to make an appointment with Dr. Saunders, but he was booked up until August, (it was May at the time), so someone suggested I visit Dr. Arianna Warfel as she had an opening. I arrived at the front desk and the two women ignored me. I said hello, and they continued to ignore me. One finally looked up long enough to tell me "Hang on", and proceeded to show the other woman how to enter something on the computer. I was ready to leave, but decided to stay and was given my form. I turned it in and told them I was there for a physical. I arrived at the examination room and was soon seen by Dr. Warfel - CPN She did the usual examinations and everything seemed fine. I left feeling better and thought everything was fine. Fast forward a few days, when I received the bill. My insurance covers physical examinations, but my visit to Dr. Warfel was logged as a "Sick Visit", which meant a couple hundred dollars out of my own pocket. When I contacted my insurance, they told me neither Dr. Warfel nor Kenwood Mercy would change the bill to what I had went there for. I had received a call from the manager of this office who basically said this is what they do for new patients. She apologized, but stated those were the rules, and left it at that. Please don't make the mistake I did. Do NOT go here unless you want to experience "Bait and Switch" on a medical level.

I received a specialist referral from my Kenwood Family Medicine PCP to an in-network provider just next door. Went to see the specialist then received a large bill in the mail a couple of weeks later despite it being a fully covered service. My phone and email inquiries to the billing dept. were ignored. I had been a patient here for over 3 years so of course they had all of my accurate insurance information in their system but they pulled this crap anyway. Greater Cincinnati has a very large variety of healthcare system and providers, you can get much better care and service elsewhere.
