Dry needling, blading, assisting your body to move incrementally with support, even massage -- they use a wide range of tools from their expansive toolkit based on what your body needs. I especially enjoyed the explanations from Dr. Ho to my endless questions about what he was doing and why it works. His mastery of anatomy, physiology, and PT was evident every time I went. With just a few touches, Ho could pinpoint exactly where my pain was and address it appropriately. 2. The support staff is competent, helpful, and friendly. My sessions after that eval have been with Anya who is incredibly kind and really encouraged me to not rush my healing process. It's been very helpful to learn that my initial abdomen pain turned out to surprisingly be all related to lower back and hip flexor tightness and that it all correlates. Do not be fooled by his modest and humble demeanor. He is the most effective PT I have ever seen -- and the results came quicker and lasted longer under his good care and guidance than anywhere else I've been. He's one of those rare people that has found their true calling and ability, and it is evident in the people he has healed and helped to heal ourselves (if we do the exercises!). I was in a car accident and saw several PTs, chiropractors, etc that provided temporary relief, but nothing beyond a week or two. Dr Issa was recommended to me by a family friend who is a top doctor in another state. At first I wasn't sure -- only because he was a 35min drive from my office and wasn't "in network." I am so glad I went -- and did a series of visits to correct my neck, upper back, lower back and pelvis. And, we tried dry needling, which I wasn't sure about and had never tried. It worked better than anything else I'd ever done. Now that's the first thing I ask other PTs -- bc that method, for me, has been #1 effective in releasing tight, conditioned muscles and promoting alignment and ease of motion. My insurance ended up covering a portion of the visits. Tamer also has a generous payment option/ discount to make sure folks could afford it. The fact that he's not as pressured by in-network quotas that focus on quantity enables him to focus on quality. I'm 65 and I thought doing the right kind of exercise. Dr. John Jowers listened to my shoulder/neck pain issues. He developed a targeted plan for my recovery, for long term fitness--health and well being. My personalized program included stretching, targeted weight training (with technique instruction), and some dry needling for my neck. Wow! With only six sessions over several months, my pain was resolved. I feel more confident in every day activities, yard work, house work, just simple walking and working out. Dr. John Jowers is great. He is friendly, intelligent, and very efficient. I came to him last fall…read morewith a torn labrum and was hoping to do rehab instead of surgery in order to get back to throwing with high velocity. During my initial session, he listened to what my issues were and very quickly came up with ways to find my weak spots that weren't being addressed by the standard throwers ten exercises. After identifying my primary limitations, he immediately had several key exercises for me to do to specifically improve those areas. By my next session three weeks later, I had improved my previous major deficits and now had different limitations. He again identified them quickly and had a short list of exercises that would help. After one more session and some additional tweaks to my rehab routine specific to my issues, I was back to throwing at full velocity with no pain. The facility is very nice and features many of the latest technologies, but the best part for me was Dr. Jowers. He keeps up to date on the newest approaches and is very aware that nobody has time for a long list of general exercises. I really appreciated how he was able to focus precisely on the main issues and help me to overcome them quickly.

Pulse fitness participates in this, and it's about 5 credits a class through ClassPass. I've been able to take a variety of classes here, from the TKO Boxing to the different styles of yoga, and the pilates machine! I like it because it's super close to my apartment and parking is never an issue. It's a really cool spot and never feels super crowded. They have separate spaces elsewhere in the building that holds the pilates machine as well as a cycling studio. The instructors are good and responsive to any areas you want to focus on. Would definitely recommend swinging by to take a class here or join as a member!
