This has to be the worse repair shop I ever worked with or there lack of. They allow the receptionist to approve work to be done on vehicles without informing the car owner of insurance approvals. The receptionist also blocks phone calls. I've called there at least 5 times and was told the manager would call me back to no avail. I would definitely never take another car that I own and/or will tell anyone to NEVER do business with them. It is sad that this company have people preying on customers. Oh did I mention my deductible had been met. This sounds fraudulent and investigative. Precision Paint and Collision will be contacted by my lawyer. Patrons please be aware. Yes that one star is not what i wanted to put but this is the only way to write this review. read more

My car was in a fender bender and I needed to get some quotes as me and the other party opted not to go through our insurance. I got quotes from 3 places, Precision Paint & Collision gave me the BEST quote. The customer service was excellent from the moment I walked in to when I picked her up. I dropped my car off on a Friday afternoon and had my baby back by the following Wednesday!! She looked brand spanking new, and was detailing to the 9's. Thank you to Ryan, Prince, Nate & and the young lady that was at the front desk. 10/10 would recommend read more

Precision Paint and Collision - Damage before - Body Shops Near Me - Conyers, Georgia

They helped us out above and beyond purchasing a truck for my husband! 5 stars PLUS. Highly recommended

Originally on Google I gave a great review, mind you that they do offer a great discount if you do a review right away on Google. Later I revised that review based on my true assessment. It is now December and I have filed with the BBB with whom I have learned that the company has an F with and is not a member due to their refusal to respond to multiple consumer complaints against them, public information, look for yourself. I have also filed with the Consumer Complaint Form | Georgia Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. To stand back and not see that a consumer is made whole, to me is not right and doesnt display customer service. The attitude of the manager Ms. Little displayed unprofessional and lacked the decorum needed to manage the situation regarding my car. Even my insurance company stated that what would have been the best solution would have been to either start from scratch repair the in totality or to reimburse what was paid and allow the car to be repaired elsewhere. neither of these have occurred, instead I continue to hang in limbo and keep being told varying scenarios by this repair shop that differ from Progressive, Dean's automotive and the Jaguar dealership. The only one who's doesnt line up is Precision. Point and fact is that they did terrible work on my car and have yet to rectify it or offer a solution other than, there is nothing else fir us to do. DO NOT GO HERE.......we have a Jaguar, Range Rover, Infiniti, Dodge Ram and Motorcycle if any need body work ever again they will not go to this shop. The little over 1400 followers I have on TikTok I will ensure do not go to this shop, my Facebook friends I will ensure do not frequent this shop. Customer service is critical and has to be maintained. Said that they put the under cover on but i have a video from jaguar showing that they did not. This among other things. I respect honorable work and work done right. I also am a woman of integrity who has no problem saying when something is good, right, fair or just plain exceptional. This right here isn't right and I will not be quiet or go away about it. read more

RUN... DO NOT WALK-AWFUL ESTABLISHMENT I am not the type of person to sit down and write a review. However, after the encounter on yesterday I knew that it was warranted. I have had 3 vehicles painted by this shop. My Denali, BMW and a Pilot. I thought it would be a good idea to have my Jag repaired and painted at this shop. I was WRONG. I have dealt with this shop for a couple of years and when I first arrived with my husband we met the owner (the father). It was ONLY because of him that we decided to have this place paint our vehicles. The father was a very nice man and this is why it is most disturbing that I write this review. The children has ran this place to the ground. When I initially brought my vehicles to the shop, I was also introduced to his son" Marquese". I was emailing the son with no response. I later went online to find out the tragic news about his son's death. I was heartbroken for the family. I later went to the shop and asked for the father's contact information so that I could reach him directly. I personally spoke with the father and have a text from the father to confirm that he knew my situation. I respected what the father told me that he was grieving and he was taking the death of his child very hard. As a parent, I could relate. I left it as that. Months passed, and I figured I would just go the shop and pick up my vehicle. Well, what started as a situation turned into a complete nightmare. The Asst. Manager, I assume her name is Miara was called to assist me. She came around the corner like I was disturbing her and immediately had a tone that was very rude and unprofessional to say the least. I told her, I have never dealt with you and I have only dealt with the father and the young man (her brother). Her exact words were, "he been dead for two years". I was like did she just say this in this manner. I told her that I just want my car and that is it, This woman says that I abandoned my vehicle and began to raise her voice and by this time, I am surrounded by her workers. It was a woman who I referred to as a woman, who later corrected me and told me he was a man. I immediately apologized because I did not know. However, there was another man who was also there and the look on his face was utter embarrassment. He did not say anything at all. He did not have to because his face said it all. The staff were trying their best to help me and the so-called Assistant Manager said they are not looking for "sh//" and by this time she called her father and she had him on speaker walking around talking like she was a complete idiot. I could barely hear the father on the phone, but this woman said he talks to many people and he said he don't remember talking to you at all, as if I am lying about talking to her father as I am also looking at my text from HER FATHER. This unprofessional woman said I don't care, you can call the police, matter of fact call the police because I ain't doing sh//. To add insult to injury she makes a reference that my vehicle has been on the their property so damn long that after 30 days it goes to "legal". Now she has my full attention, because strangely enough the email that I sent to this place asking about the status of my vehicle was from my legal office, the law firm with my full name and phone number. I proceeded to tell this woman that the term "legal" I said, I just look like this, and this woman went and took an aggressive stance and began to approach my space and I made it clear that her tone and her energy was awful and I politely went outside and called Conyers Police Department and while I am outside there are 3 small babies running around and one child literally ran up to me as if I were his mother. The police arrived on the scene and what do you know. My Jag was on their lot and I actually saw them walking the lot looking for my vehicle that was STILL ON THEIR LOT. Fast forward, the Police Officer came out and said they have your vehicle and it is showing signs of rust but it was my car, my car with the same license plate that I showed the police officer. They actually said that before I could take my car that I had to pay CASH the sum of $475.00 to get my car. The Police Officer came out with my email that I sent to Marquese asking about the status of my vehicle and the fact that I have not heard from anyone. My information is clearly on the email along with my phone number and might I add it clearly said which Law Firm I work at. I literally had to pay a tow truck $75.00 to remove someone else's vehicle that was in front of my vehicle so that my tow truck could get to my vehicle. I said I would use my credit card and I was told that it had to be CASH. I paid the fee and my Jag was delivered back to me. I thought hard before I decided to write this review. I also thought should I just leave it alone and let Karma work itself back around. I am saddened to have to write a review against a black establishment. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. BEWARE read more

This business took over a thousand dollars from me for repairs they were supposed to make on my car. They did not touch my car and kept it on their property for MONTHS....not one repair. Not only did they keep my money, my car was damaged more on their property. BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!! read more

These people deserve ZERO STARS! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! I thought it would be a good idea to give this place a try, but it turned out to be a nightmare. There were crying children and animals running around, and the staff was extremely unprofessional. They never called me back, lied about timelines and parts, and kept me on hold for ages every time I called. To make things worse, my car was left uncovered and exposed to the elements, which caused even more damage. The work they did was also very poor quality, requiring another claim. If you're looking for a reliable body shop, I suggest doing your research and finding a place with a great reputation for customer service. Unfortunately, this is not that place. I highly recommend avoiding these people at all costs. I really wish I had known better before going there. ZERO STARS! read more

If I could give a lower rating than one star, I would. This has been the worst experience in my adult life. And after having my car there for more than a week with an estimate, no phone calls, no follow up. Nothing at all. I called to ask when it would be ready only to get the worst cus service and run around I've ever gotten. Now after all of the back and forth with misstep after misstep. They are not honoring the original estimate and wants to charge more money. So after my car just sitting there for over a week, I am going to pick up the car with no work done on it at all. This is the worst company ever and I plan on spreading the word about this joke of a company. read more

He lost my car key and the insurance company took 1000.00 from the amount they gave me for totaling my car.... My car was rear ended and after many frustrating phone calls with other parties, taking my car to Precision Paint Collison & Auto Detailing was the best thing to happen. Customer service was always great, very efficient. One stand out was gentleman named Casey, he was the mechanic that looked at my car. He was very hospitable, always kept a open line of communication, and most of all he was very honest about the situation. Making me feel reassured. Will definitely go there for any and all needed repairs. Very much recommended. read more

I was looking for an auto body shop in Lithonia because the rear driver door on my Yukon would not close. My kids and I were camped out at my aunt's house because I did not want to transport my babies in the road to Atlanta with the door in that condition. I got up yesterday morning expecting to get a quote and an appointment and head to work. My aunt looked up a shop for me near her home, and after driving in circles trying to find this place (which was obviously out of business) I "googled" the nearest location and found Precision. As a female, I'm not at all comfortable with going to an auto body shop in the first place because of the stigma the shops have the disparate treatment of women. So...I get to the shop and I am greeted by the owner - Melvin. I showed him how I rigged the door closed so that I could get my kids to my aunt's safely. He immediately called out the mechanic and told me to grab my purse and go inside, they were going to take care of it right away. I was SO relieved! He went on to explain once inside that he couldn't let me leave like that knowing that I had kids. I had no intentions of letting my kids back in the car until it was fixed, but for them to be that considerate was very refreshing. The door was fixed in less than twenty minutes and I was back on the road and on the way to work! I am so blessed to have stumbled upon them! I will never take any vehicle I own to any other location, I encourage family and friends to use them as well, and I will have all of the nearly 200 fleet vehicles at my job brought here as well. They definitely have earned my business from now on! read more

I'm really pleased with the services that I received from Precision Paint & Collision. Not only are the guys car doctors, but they provide excellent customer service. My truck was rear ended by a tractor. Bumper was supposed to have been replaced and lift gate repaired. I was told my truck was ready. I went picked it up. When I got home, I noticed bumper was sticking out on each side and inside of lift gate was hanging. I called and was told to bring it back. I took it back and talked to Melvin. He told me to bring it in morning any day. I took it two weeks later and Marquise told me that I had wrong bumper and need lift gate. So they revised Estimates after me and company done signed off with them saying truck was fixed and paid in full. But actually nothing was fixed. Truck worse than when it was wrecked. Lift gate interior was just bent not hanging and bumper was cracked. And looked better than now. Would not recommend to anyone. Beware read more

Marquis which is the manager/boss is very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I have had the worst experience with this shop. I am still mad that my attorney suggested my car to go to this shop. I could have found my own Auto Body shop to go to if I would have knew this place was going to be what it was. First for starters I was told my car was going to be ready in 7days. 7 days became over 12 days. Then when it was ready for pick up I had no way to get it. My claims adjuster reached out to Marquis to ask can he drop my vehicle off to my job which Marquis agreed to. I contacted him to set up a time and he was going to bring my vehicle to my job the next following day. Well I sent him the address that afternoon and we talked at 8am that following morning. He stated he was going to have my car out to me as soon as traffic died down, then I spoke to him again at 1pm and he stated he was waiting for his crew to come, I told Marquis that I get off at 5:30 he said he will have it to me before then. Well 4:30 comes and I texted him back letting him know that I will be getting off in an hour. He THEN stated he CANNOT drop my vehicle off due to clement weather. Then stated the drive will be over an hour to me and he has to pay his workers 100 dollars to bring me my car and it's not worth it. By that time I'm pissed because I have already dropped my rental car back off and told Marquis I have no way to get my car or get home from work. He told me he suggest I get a Uber or Lyft to pick up my car.... If only he reached out to me, and me not reaching out to him this could have been avoided. Especially since we talked 3 times that day. Imhe clearly did not care. Inconsiderate... The topping of it after I picked my car up from his shop. 2 weeks later I get stopped by the POLICE... Apparently I have been driving around with my old 2013 Grand Am Tag. Which had not been registered since 2013 and was INSIDE my trunk not on my bumper. Mind you My car that was being worked on is a Toyota... So these dumb mofos never took my Toyota tag off my old bumper to put back on my replaced back bumper that was getting fixed. Without paying attention obviously a tag that clearly has a big ass 2013 sticker on it and put it on my vehicle. They should have never even touched my old tag that was in my car. Even I forgot it was in there and I would have never knew if I was not stopped by the police. The next morning I went to the tag office to get a new tag and they stated I have to make a police report with Lithonia police department. I reside in Douglasville Ga. So I am very pissed at the moment. When I contacted Marquis to tell him about his people putting the wrong tag on my car and I asked him can he see if he can find my tag, he said he will call back once he located it.... Well again I never Received a call back from Marquis. I had to call him back. He then he told me "unfortunately I cannot locate that tag" but we can reimburse you the tag cost... It's not about the money to replace my tag. It's 8dollars to replace a tag. That's not the issue. The inconvenience and timing is the issue. I work 35 miles away and I cannot drive my vehicle due to his shop putting on the wrong damn tag. And I have to drive another 50 mins to Lithonia to make a police report because of him and his employees and I cannot do that because I have not tag. By far this is the worst experience I have ever had dealing with my car. He is Inconvenient, Inconsiderate, Rude, Nasty, Unprofessional and Incompetent. I will never refer this black owned business to another. Makes you not want to even work with people like this. Never again..... He wouldn't even get 1star if it was up to me. read more

Precision Paint and Collision - No customer service at all.... Again Inconsiderate. Waste of time - Body Shops Near Me - Conyers, Georgia

Well mannered team of professionals that care about their customers.

This is the worst collision company EVER! The owner and family, who run this "business" are unprofessional. The customer service is horrible. They will not take ownership of their mistakes. The car took an extremely long time to complete. The initial time was 10 days however the actual time to fix was 45 days. Not sure how I ended up with this company as neither the dealership nor the rental company recommends this place. I was informed that this company gets quotes on original parts for the estimate yet repairs the vehicle with used parts. Maybe that is why it took sooo long to fix. Walking around in socks or flip flops was very unprofessional as well. I had to take my car to another collission company to correct Precisions errors as I refused to have my car there any longer. The second collision company found many items that were repaired incorrectly or not at all. BEWARE!!!I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS "BUSINESS" AT ALL read more

Bad Experience. I went to muliple collision businesses in Rockdale before I decided to use this company when I was rear ended. When I took my car in for repair and they removed the bumper it was more damage than I was initially quoated. That was fine. The office staff is nice. The dad is nice. However, the manager Malichi (?) is rude and condesending. I was told three different dates/times that my car would be ready and it wasn't. I had to call multiple times to receive a status. When I finally retrieved my car the manager told me he did me a favor by fixing my car and told me that they fix over 60 cars a month and they have expensive cars in the back. However, I didn't understand why he was telling me this information because not only did they take over a week to repair my car but their was still a piece missing from my trunk when I pick up my car. The estimator did give a small discount; however, the manager has a lot to learn about customer service. read more

Worst experience ever with these folks, not professional at all they don't believe in courtesy calls to the customer you have to keep calling them to find out info. I talked twice to "Marquis" about my car being ready and always has an excuse why the car is not done blames on other shops. The first time i talked to him he told me my car will be ready on a Friday which wasn't true I had to call him on Thursday to find out if my car was gonna be ready on Friday like he said which that didn't happen the second time I just didn't like his vibe didn't want to waste my time Mind you this is what has been going on for a month now all because the pieces are not in stock or in back order which is understanding if you were to communicate with the customer and let them know and give them a "courtesy call" and keep the customer inform of the situation but don't tell someone that the car will be ready Tuesday and Monday come first and won't call the customer to let them know it won't be ready that day on Tuesday. My car has been at precision autobody shop which is a family owned business since Jan 11,2016 I believe and today's date is Feb 12,2016 which means it's been a whole month now and today is the day I finally get our car back, will see what they say. Now the only good thing about this is that "Melvin jr." Is waving out $250.00 of my deductible which is 500, for the "misunderstanding" so hopefully "Melvin Jr." Will keep his word once i get my car back. It is 8:35am just got out of the phone with "Melvin Jr." And said that'll it will be ready by the end of the day. So hopefully today will be the last day with the these folks. Worst shop to have your car worked on l. in the shop to much miscommunication. Please if you insurance refers you to this shop to waste your time they won't do the job correctly they half ass on everything they did to my car from bubbles in my paint to having tie straps holding my part leaving my radiator loose. read more

They had my daughter car for 2 months I would have to call them the entire 2 months from February to April to get an update on the car I would be told Marquece out of the office and will call you back never received a call I was told my car would be ready in a week, then it turned into 2 weeks, then 2 months. After getting the car drove it for 1 day found out there was no Radiator fluid 2 weeks later we found out the A/C wasn't working compressor was bad we took it back Marquece lied and said they replace to compressor A/C still didn't work then he told me to take to the Chevy Dealership we did he submitted paperwork from Chevy to my insurance company then after receiving payment from my insurance company he said there was nothing wrong with the compressor then didn't want to pay the Chevy dealership for replacing the compressor wanted to keep the check from my insurance company another month dealing with them and my car. Went to location 9/18/17 to get hood and trunk repainted. I also asked to have entire car buffed and headlights restored. The manager Jose agreed it would be $750.00, after the painter, Chaz looked at car. I gave the $400.00 in cash to start the work. I was told to pick it up in 3 days. During this process I never got updates. I gave balance of $350.00 to my daughter to pick up car. This turned out to be a disaster. The car was unfinished with scratches and burn marks from attempting to buff car. Also it was residue all over the car from the wax they attempted to buff with. I confronted the painter Chaz and his response was someone might have sat on it. I then talked to the owner Melvin Sr. he apologized and assured me the work would be done right and asked could I bring car back first thing Monday morning and Chaz would meet me at shop and take me to work. He dropped me off to work in my car, which was fine. The unprofessional thing that occurred was when he came back my gas tank was almost on empty, after having half a tank previously and the car didn't look any better. This guy Chaz said he would give me the money back when he get back to the shop and he needed to wash the car and it would look better. We get back to the shop and the BS starts, he started to come up with side deals, so I immediately went to the manager, Jose and the owner. They both apologized and said they would talk to him and to bring car back the next day and Jose would take to the Conyers location. The Conyers location appeared to be professional, but they basically tried to buff car instead of repaint. HORRIBLE Job! Will continue to explain my adventure at the Conyers location on next post. under the Conyers location. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO PRECISION PAINT AND COLLISION AT LITHONIA OR CONYERS!!!! YOU ARE BETTER OFF GOING TO MAACO!!! continued ......I went to Conyers location 979 Iris Dr SE, after being referred by Jose. I talked to the Manager AJ he appeared to be professional, but in the end he didn't know what was going on totally CLUELESS. He at least referred me to Melvin little the painter that specialize in design paint. I asked him what would be the cost to do a two tone paint job to design my Chrysler 300 like a Rolls Royce Ghost, he said and additional $500. I felt that was fair so, I told him to do the work , he said it be ready in 2 days. I got the car back, but it wasn't the design I asked for. It was decent but it still had a lot of imperfections. I did however pay the $500 for a decent job. I found out not even 6 months later the front bumper, where they painted started to peel and I saw where they never primed the bumper, they painted over the black paint that was already on the car. I immediately called the business but I would always get the run around every time I asked for Melvin or AJ. They were either out of the office or very busy. I finally talked to Zaire, the guy that worked the front desk. He started out professional, but that was only a front. He told me to bring my car on Tuesday and he would take car of it. I took car to location on Tuesday, only to have him call me the next day and say the managers would not honest the services, because the paint peel because of rock chip from the road. I expressed my concerns to Zaire, but his response was, you only paid $500.00 and I think they did a good job, not knowing I previously paid $750.00 at the other location. I went to location to pick up car, and to add insult to injury my car was still in the same location from where I dropped it off the previous day and it took 1 hour for them to find my key and I had just got off from work. I had given my keys the previous day to AJ, but he was clueless on where he left them, so he said he would find them, just give he about 10 minutes. He went in the back and never return to apologize or anything, just UNPROFFESSIONAL! I however met a nice young man that actually helped look and locate my key. The young man is named Allen.
