If you need an Endodontist for something, use this place. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I called late on a Tuesday afternoon and they were able to get me in on the Thursday morning for an evaluation. The first person was considerate and explained everything he was doing (Xray, exam) as we did it. Then Dr. Ford came over and explained in detail what was needed and said if you want we can do it now. OK! let's get it done! Unfortunately, I've had my share or crowns & root canals over the years, and not sure if Dr. Ford had a magic wand or if this particular tooth was different, but this was easier than getting a filling done. Even after, there was no pain or discomfort at all (other than being numb and not able to eat for a few hours). I hope I don't need an Endodontist again, but if I do, I know where I'm going and will refer them to EVERYONE that might need their service. read more

Dr. Ford accompanied by Justine made an amazing team for my root canal. I usually hate the dentist but these ladies made it the most comfortable experience I've ever had! This is my second root canal and let me tell you...the first one took 4 hours and was so painful when I went to a different doctor. I'm so happy I came to see Dr. Ford for my second one. It lasted maybe an hour and a half including X-Rays and numbing process! They were so careful and thoughtful and did everything to make me feel comfortable. They offered me a neck pillow as well as a blanket! I've never been anywhere medical and gotten this royal treatment. Dr. Ford's bedside manner was exemplary and she tried to carefully explain to me all the steps of the procedure which made me feel more relaxed about the whole procedure. I had a root canal on Wednesday before Thanksgiving and was dreading the procedure as I've heard nothing but horror stories all my life regarding this procedure. What an amazing experience I had at this practice. From entering the office to paying (they don't take AmEx BTW) everyone was professional, calming, and efficient. The only pain I endured is the prick of pain as a needle went in the roof of my mouth. Dr Whiting was calming and made sure to answer all my questions before beginning. Ensured me all I had to do was lift my hand if there was an issue. Explained as he went and reassured me all was going as expected. I was expecting and was worried about pain as the Novocain wore off. There was NO PAIN. Two days later I'm still at awe that I'm in no pain, no soreness, nothing. I needed to have the dreaded root canal. I have had them before but this time my dentist suggested Precision Endodontics. 480.388.3636 They have two offices and I went to the Tempe office. I was extremely pleased with Dr. Ford and her assistant Kayla. My body doesn't take numbing very well. I told Dr. Ford this and she knew exactly where to give the numbing shot so it was a pain-free experience and she got it numb the first shot. (Okay the shot stung a little -but that was it!!!) Getting two root canals at the same time was not fun, but Dr. Arad, Ash and Sheri - along with the front office staff (I regret not getting their names), made it a good experience. They were professional and very friendly. I felt completely at ease with their competence and manner. They often stopped to ask how I was and made it more comfortable for me if needed. Had a root canal done in two parts by Dr. Whiting recently. Dr. Whiting and all the staff were amazing! Everyone was incredibly nice and efficient. I've had multiple root canals in my life and I've NEVER had an endodontist take the time to explain the procedure/my options in the way that Dr. Whiting did. He was so kind and compassionate and made sure all my questions were answered. He did an incredible job on everything, even making the numbing process painless (seriously, I didn't even feel a pinch!). I was referred to Dr. Lee by my new Dentist. I have been experiencing sensitivity and he wanted me to have an expert's opinion since it was in the area of a prior root canal. I had next surgery in 2014 which caused an immense fear that resurfaced recently while getting work done. Dr. Lee was amazing at helping me relax. She explained everything thoroughly and knew the right things to say during my mini "freak outs". Seeing as I now have to have a lot of crowns done, I will most likely need to see her again. I am grateful for her patience and kindness. It is the beginning step in helping me overcome the fear caused by a previous trauma. Her office staff was also very nice. Very pleasant and professional. Had a root canal performed on an upper molar last week. Root canals are no fun, but Dr. Stephen Chan and his assistant did an excellent job. They were polite, respectful and attentive to my needs. I appreciated the way Dr. Chan explained things before, during and after the procedure. He even personally called me one week later to see how the tooth and I were doing. I don't look forward to anymore root canals, but fully expect to need some more in the coming years and, when I do, will be glad to go back to Precision Endodontists! read more

Rarely are root canals planned well in advance and of course my tooth began throbbing the day prior to leaving for a remote camping trip. The team at Precision graciously got me in late that afternoon and after the exam results pointed to a dying tooth we jumped right in! It's been a few decades since my last root canal but I remember it being worse... or perhaps Dr. Ford & Jackie are that good? Dr. Ford is pleasant and just the right amount of funny while her assistant Jackie seemed to be on top of things. More importantly, I felt confident I was in good hands and the results were perfect. I'm about 3 weeks out now and my mouth feels great. Lastly, Dr. Ford - not another staff member - also followed up with a call a few days later to check on my status. I previously had a root canal completed over a year ago at another practice by Dr. Chan. He went over and above from my previous experience. The office fit me (as there was a car accident that day) and I had a consultation where it was determined I needed a root canal. I was initially advised that I would have to come back as there were other appointments scheduled for the rest of the day. After shedding some tears (I had been in exceedingly excruciating pain that increase daily) Dr. Chan said he would see what he could do to at least start the process that day. After some additional opportunities to arrange his schedule he fit me in and started the process. Thank goodness as it was a Friday and I was able to enjoy the weekend (as best I could). Fast forward to 2019 and I was having some recurring tooth pain. I wanted to see Dr. Chan again and realized he was not at the same office. I completed a google search and believed I found his new office which my primary dentist confirmed. I was able to get an appointment to see Dr. Chan! Great news! Once I was able to get into the office my tooth pain was a little less sore and it took a little while to diagnose what was going on and which tooth was causing me pain. Dr. Chan was very patient and took his due diligence to figure out where the pain was originating from. He did and I had another root canal. The process was as smooth as good be and Dr. Chan did not disappoint. I also received a follow up call directly from the doctor the next day to see how I was feeling. The care of this physician for his patients is commendable. Sheri assisted Dr. Chan during the procedure and conducted the x-rays. Sheri was very attentive and kind during the whole process. Heidi (office manager/check-in) was very helpful as I had some extra insurance leg work that needed to be completed (too long to elaborate) and she was on top of everything that needed to occur. I was referred to DR. Lee from a friend who had also seen Dr. Lee. Dr.Lee started out with a conservative approach to fixing the abscess that had formed in my gums on the top of my mouth. This didn't fix the problem so she moved onto a more aggressive approach and did a procedure called Apical Surgery. My procedure was very intense and required a tremendous amount of technical skill. Dr. Lee's skill was amazing, where she really excelled was making me feel comfortable and relaxed for my intense surgery. The followup from both Dr. Lee and her staff was amazing and I would recommend Dr. Lee to anyone who is looking for an Endodontist. read more

Let's be honest; root canals are simply not fun! That said, my dentist referred me to this practice for potential root canal treatment on two teeth. X-rays and evaluation showed that only one abscessed molar required a root canal, which was performed by Dr Angelique Ford and her dental assistant Jackie. They demonstrated professionalism, warmth and attentiveness. The procedure took 2+ hours including the initial evaluation and x-rays, and, during that entire time, they made sure I was as comfortable as could be. Dr Ford has a great demeanor about her. She explains things as she goes along and did a terrific job on this tooth. Wendy in the front office was also very pleasant and willingly worked out payment alternatives for consideration. I'm a little conflicted about my experience with this business and I'm not sure how I should feel. Dr. Lee who is the Endodontist, I feel is extremely professional with her work. She was pain free, polite and provided a very pleasant root canal experience. Her accountant/receptionist on the other hand Paula has some issues managing the businesses money. She admitted to a clerical error on her behalf and insists that I still pay for her error. I refuse to pay for a error made on their behalf and I even attempted to work something out with her directly and after several phone calls and emails she still insists I pay for her mistake. Even though Dr. Lee is probably in my opinion the best Doctor in her field, if you want to avoid clerical errors and protect your wallet I would stay far away from this place. First, the dental work was good and Dr. Lee was skilled in the root canal she performed. Now if the experience could be narrowed down to just the interaction with the dentist the rating would be higher; however, the dentist is the person with whom I engaged the least. My interaction with the receptionist/billing clerk, Heidi, was completely unsatisfactory. She quoted one out of pocket amount on the phone, in person the out of pocket before treatment increased a bit from the original quote, and after the treatment the out of pocket amount TRIPLED. She explained if they received an overpayment from my insurance she would call me right away and refund the money quickly as she knew I was having additional dental work with my regular dentist. Guess what. Not only were they over reimbursed by my insurance, she did not call. I called and explained I was having to pay additional out of pocket to my dentist and I need the refund processed quickly as she had originally indicated. Nope. My first call to her was Nov 1st and she informs me the Dr. Lee only processes checks at the end of the month. I called multiple times sense Nov 1st and each time Heidi gave me the vague run around. That's crap. She knows it. I know it. Now you know it. If you want to be jerked around call Heidi at Precision Endodontics. Otherwise, I'd recommend going elsewhere. read more

My insurance company suggested this location as an option for treatment for an Apicoectomy procedure. I called to get a price for this particular service, but the receptionist declined stating that I would have to be seen for a consultation. I asked for an estimated price and she insisted that I would have to be seen first. One year prior, I went to 3 renowned Endodontist for their opinions on whether I needed the procedure and due to the price, I held off. Each of these locations provided free consultations. When I began experiencing new issues, I decided to revisit the issue for a resolution. I set the consultation date one week out and the receptionist emailed forms through their website for me to fill out before coming in. I filled them out the night before my appointment. On the last page of the online forms it stated that services would be $0.00, so I hit the ok button. The next day I was briefly seen for the consultation. It is a very clean facility and the doctor seems to be very knowledgeable. Following the consultation, I thanked everyone just before exiting. The receptionist then stopped me and told me that there was a fee of nearly a hundred dollars. I literally thought she was joking because not only had she never mentioned a fee, it was never stated on the website. There wasn't any mention of a fee verbally or on any forms that I signed when I initially walked in. This came completely out of nowhere. There was no signage specifying this nor did it state that there was a fee on their website within the consultation section. This is the prime example of bad business and I believe they were trying to entrapment me from the very beginning. I simply requested a price or estimated price for a specific service over the phone when I called and this is how it turned out. The services there are so secret that they won't disclose them until following your treatment. I have refused to pay and will take it one step further by contacting the Better Business Bureau and State Attorney General regarding their practices. Its sad, but some businesses today try to manipulate things to rob people these days. Where is the transparency? Why should anyone have to pay a fee to obtain an estimate price for services. read more
