I got an email shortly after the inquiry was sent to come in and chat more about my project. From the initial meeting with Inti, at the front sales, my impression of the shop was that they were very trustworthy from their overall knowledge, recommendations and experience. They weren't pushy in trying to sell me things I didn't need as they utilized the understanding of my usage I communicated to them. Inti even pulled out a sample tire from inside the shop up to my truck so I can get a better visual of what my project may look like. I appreciate customer service like this where you don't feel rushed and the rep really spends time to understand what you want. I kept seeing Advanced Trucks on my way through Morgan Hill and I wanted to patronize this independent shop rather than going to a chain 4x4 shop. I'm glad I did as I am thoroughly happy with the final product. Inti kept me in the loop on the progress, checked in when needed, gave me an accurate timeline and delivered within that timeline. And they noticed that it had a code related to the cadillac converter one of the gentleman there told the one that was scanning for codes. Raise up the vehicle, make sure that all the sensors are connected. They could have missed not connecting one. And that can be the cause of the check engine light. They did remove that check engine light. And also they had the person that was working on my car. The day before, and he mentioned that one of the gaskets in the exhaust before the Cadillac converter was a little deteriorated, and they recommended that I change that. I was driving to the store in the afternoon when I heard meowing coming from inside my car. I pulled over to try finding the source of the noise, and sure enough a kitten had crawled up under my car and gotten itself stuck. I went to Lander Auto and Hilda immediately put my car on the lift and began the rescue mission. 45 mins later, she was able to retrieve the kitten unharmed. You could tell she had done this before and cared about the animal getting out safely. Now here is the best part. They refused to take any payment. Hilda said they were just happy to rescue an animals life and it was the right thing to do. We took pictures and she had me out of there with my new kitten in no time.
