It pains me to leave this review, but I did one of those stupid Yelp quote requests where a bunch of companies fill your inbox with rates for a project and that's how I found this shop. My windshield cracked and I had it replaced -- with that process, I lost the upper visor tint strip. Rather than do it myself with a kit from Autozone, I figured I'd find a shop that doesn't charge a crazy rate. Precision was responsive and even available on the weekend. I brought my car in at the agreed time, they did the service and I left. A few hours later at a stop light, I notice a 3"+ CRACK coming from the side of my windshield directly under the tint. Coincidence?! No chips on the exterior and I didn't hear anything hit the car while I was driving. The glass is flawless on the exterior. You can feel the crack on the inside but not the outside. I reached out to the owner and he responded the next day saying "oh, yeah, the tech noticed the crack when you brought it in but shouldn't effect the tint unless it spreads..." all windshield cracks spread! It's doubled in size since yesterday! I looked at the windshield before I brought it in guessing how much coverage the strip would provide (it was much larger than I though which is fine) but: 1. I would have noticed an eye-level crack on the driver's side of my windshield. 2. WHY would I have a cracked windshield tinted?! I know it will have to be replaced again! 3. I have full windshield replacement with my insurance. I'm not looking for a free windshield. 4. If he saw the crack, why would he tint it in the first place? The owner said adding tint can cause damaged glass to expand quickly if it's parked in direct sun. I'm in ARIZONA -- that's all there is here. The coincidence factor is off the charts for this. There is no exterior damage to the glass, and the crack is now 6" long. I'm not sure if something happened while they were prepping the interior that damaged the interior of the glass, but I've never owned a car where the windshield breaks on its own on the interior. Now I'm going to have my insurance company replace my windshield again and probably never have the visor tint added again because WTF. He offered to re-tint the new glass for free when I have it replaced and even work with a glass company he knows, but I'm good! Don't want to waste another Saturday. I'll have my windshield replaced in my work parking lot again and wear my sunscreen I guess. Their logic behind tinting a cracked windshield and their expert knowledge and understanding that TINT can heat up the glass and cause it to spiderweb or expand quickly and STILL applying the tint is what I'm having the hardest time understanding. That makes me think they didn't see a crack before installing the tint. Also no mention of it or advising me to *NOT PARK IN DIRECT SUN AFTER* FML

I had a great experience here and def recommend letting Ricky install your windows tint. He recommended a great choice for me. I wanted super dark and he discussed his various tint choices and has a template to show how each looks. His choice has worked out great for me and I'm glad I went with it. Its an awesome location as I was able to walk to Tempe marketplace and hang out at the shops and cafes to pass the time for 2 hours. I needed tint for safety in traveling and other reasons so it's been a great purchase I did for myself. Thanks for a great tint! read more

Went in to get my windows tinted on a new car. Initially it looked great and the cost was appropriate. Upon further inspection, I found a small piece of debris between the tint and the glass. I called to bring it up and was told to bring it in to be replaced. Had it replaced and it looks even worse. It went from a single spec between the tint and glass to about 20 or so. honestly, not very thrilled with the quality of work. Unfortunately I don't live near Tempe, so I'll have to get it redone at home. read more

Got a tint removal and put fresh tint on all windows + rear. My old tint was peeling and I wanted better tint for better sun protection. Scheduled with Ryan but met with Ricky. They took care of me so well, that I'm recommending them to everyone for tint. I walked away feeling like I paid for perfection. This place is nothing short of a scam. The owner himself has his employees lie to customers once a job is done. What else can they do that's there pay check. All though most of them don't care. I thought everyone should know that no matter what you ask for ,and you are talked into spending that extra dollar you will not receive anything but what you paid for . Why would the customers know any different. It's like buying a used car you take a mechanic with you to checkout. Going here you may want to take a tint expert . I say this from witnessing and being a victim as well. read more

Got my tints done and ended up having a couple small air bubbles on 2 of the windows. I contacted the owner, Ricky, 2 months after the original tint job and within 15 minutes he replied to my text telling me to stop by and he'll fix them. Sure enough, I stopped by and he fixed them no questions asked. I don't leave reviews often, but for a small business like this I had to recognize the solid customer service. Messaged them through Yelp for a simple tint removal not expecting much. They got me in same day, at a great price, and great service. They're in a perfect spot right next to Tempe Marketplace so I brought my dog along and we hung out there for 1 1/2 hours till they were done. These guys did a great job applying a ceramic window tint to my 2016 4Runner. They were super friendly, professional and the work they did looks great. They went above and beyond by actually offering to open up their shop and doing the work on a Sunday which is a non business day normally for them. They originally offered me a sit on Monday morning and I said that wouldn't work for me and I'd get back to them to see if I had an opening during my busy work week. Without hesitation they offered to open up Sunday and do it at 8am. That just so happens to be my only full day off so I thanked them and took the slot. Great service, great work! Best window tint in Phoenix area and very reasonable price. I have taken all my cars here and love every job done. Bottom part of driver window started to peel (I accidentally rolled down my window before I was supposed to), Fixed it as promised for no charge. I would recommend this shop to everyone. Sometimes when you're in business, things don't always go as planned and as a customer, how a…read morebusiness responds when things don't go as planned can sometimes be more valuable than if things went perfectly but the business wasn't professional or courteous. I brought my 2026 Tesla Model 3 here for some tint and things did not go as planned but Josh was super friendly and did everything he could to make the situation right. Below I describe my experience, which involves fully tinting every piece of glass on my Tesla, which is the most difficult vehicle model to tint. I wouldn't pass on Copperstate Motor Club solely based on the below review. The first go-around with the tint didn't turn out as expected. I had opted to tint my Tesla's six side windows, back window, sunroof, and windshield in the MaxPro MaxIR, which is their top of the line film. I wanted maximum heat and UV protection from the harsh Arizona sun, even though I was having the tint done in January. Josh was super friendly and communicative during the process and my tint job took all day. When I went to pick up the car there was a good amount of soap running down the sides of the car but Josh had free QR codes for the car wash near his shop. Even though the QR code didn't work for me, I was able to spray. the car down with some spot free rinse water to get the soap off. Fast forward to a few days later and I noticed some large bubbles on the driver side door and windshield not going away and then I noticed in other areas around the car, there were some dust particles and hair trapped in between the tint and the glass. I also noticed some hardcore streaking on one of the windows and some tint on the sunroof that didn't look like it was cut correctly as the tint didn't cover the sunroof fully. Josh re-tinted my side windows, which look good. He attempted to redo the windshield but when he put the film up, there was a nick in it so it was removed. He also wasn't able to redo the sunroof or the back glass, stating that he couldn't do any better than what was on there already. He was kind enough to issue me a full refund and also give me some additional car wash codes, and money toward my Uber ride. I thought that was VERY kind and excellent customer service. I appreciated his strong business acumen. He attempted to make the situation right and I really really appreciate that. I had since taken my car to Gilbert Tint Works for them to redo the windshield, the sunroof, and the back glass, which look good so far...the car is still curing so I'll know in a couple of days. One thing that Gilbert Tint Works pointed out was that the film that Copperstate Motor Club put on the sunroof had a weird blue hue to it. I also noticed that the windshield film, when it was on there, had a blue hue as well. We suspect that perhaps too much soapy solution was used. Copperstate Motor Club is a newer company and it appears they're still ironing out some kinks. Hopefully in the future they'll be great because the owner, Josh, definitely has the right business mindset.

She gets back to you quickly, provides answers to your questions, gives quotes on OEM and after-market products, and schedules appointments. On every occasion she got us appointments that worked great for me in regards to day and timing. I mean almost immediate appointments were scheduled after receiving some good news -a quote that was easily $100 lower than a competitors price for the passenger window. A few hundred dollar difference for the windshield too. I only learned that when I was mistakenly provided a windshield replacement and calibration quote from competitor when I had asked for price on passenger window. On both recent occasions the service actually came directly to my location. Ryan called as anticipated, notified me how far out he was and arrived within the time expected. From start to finish he got the damaged glass removed, replacements installed, finishing the repairs, then wrapping up by processing payment. Polite and professional all the way. For the windshield, it had been completed on Wednesday the prior week. Caleb, of the Calibration Crew, called to notify me he was on his way shortly after the installation was finished. He was given keys, took vehicle for a drive around the area and was prompt in completing the calibration process. This included in the price of replacement/repair. 5 * for Prompt, Same Day, Service and Competitive Pricing.

***BEWARE*** Review supported by text message screenshots with business owner Ricky. This shop has plenty of positive reviews, but I urge you to read the negative ones. They are very telling and reflect the experience I had. BUYER BEWARE!!! Scheduled window tint for July 26, 2025. Told it would take 3-4 hours, quoted $450. Spoke to the owner Ricky. CC/cash is OK, get discount w/ cash. Drop car off 7/26 10am. Nine hours later, 730pm the car is finally ready. Very poor communication throughout. Just before car is ready 653pm, told their card machine is down, can only pay w/ cash (apple cash, cash app, cash). Have to run to ATM that I was not planning on, and now it's $500. Car finally comes out, has water splatter all over the body around the windows, ask them to wipe it clean like how it was when dropped off. Ryan asks for a positive review and to include his name. I say I will but want to ensure all good first, had lots of bubbles in it. Less than 24 hours later, Ryan texts asking for positive review w/ his name included. Advise I'm waiting for all the bubbles to go away. They never do, every window has them. 8/11, advise bubbles still there, need to be fixed. No reply. Three days later, 8/14 receive a reply "yessir, just bring it in on Saturday and we'll take care of it." Ask to speak to the owner, Ricky. Ryan is extremely evasive and states he is unable to speak on the phone. Insist on speaking with the owner. Ricky calls me, apologizes for bad experience, says Ryan is basically fired, offers a $400 refund, but prefer to fix the tint himself. Reluctantly agree for owner Ricky to fix himself, I can watch. Plan it for Sunday 8/17. 8/17, Ricky texts he's sick, will provide $400 refund Monday. Monday 8/18 709am, Ricky texts saying he's in hospital, will keep me posted and still provide refund. 8/21, follow up w/ Ricky, hope you're healing up, can we discuss refund? No reply. 8/29, I stop by the shop since Ricky won't reply to text/call. Told he's not there. Text him, he tells me to never come by the shop again, will give me full $500 refund via Zelle on 9/11 when he gets check from dealership he works with. 9/11 comes, no money, no text. 9/15, follow up via text. Ricky says "Yes, I will send you money by end of the day." Never happens. 9/17 follow up text, no reply. 9/19, advise Ricky he has until end of day today to send money or will contact BBB, Gary Harper, leave detailed review. New employee Cameron replies, Ricky will only offer to fix, no refund. The only option for a partial refund is to remove the jacked up tint he already installed. The offer is laughable and makes zero sense - very petty. This business owner and its owner Ricky have zero integrity and don't know the first thing about customer service. Think twice before spending your money here. read more

Professional, efficient, experienced team, quality work all around and the best customer service I've ever had. I went to Precision Cut Window Tint in Tempe on Rio Salado near Tempe Market Place. Great Customer Service and amazing job. I had the crappy window tint from the Dealership and Ricky Garcia who tinted my car removed my old tint and replaced it with a ceramic window tint and MANNN this is amazing. Rick was very pleasant to work with and did a nice job on my car! Also, my husband and I walked across the street to Tempe Marketplace to kill time while our windows were being tinted. Unfortunately, none of us had realized that we forgot to leave our keys behind before we left... But, Rick was kind enough to drive over and grab them to save us the walk back to the shop!
