    I had sooo many questions for the templater and the installers. This was my first time installing cabinets as an island and with a gap in the middle for the range. All of the guys were very kind and informative, but didn't try to mansplain anything to me, which I really appreciated. The fabricator did a great job of lining the veins up behind the range too, you can barely notice the seam. They did an excellent job and really took their time to make it perfect! I love how it turned out!

    Precision Countertops recently installed the counters we purchased at a "Big Box store" and, we couldn't be more pleased. Initially, there were some issues that were the result of a poor cabinet installation by a different contractor who failed to level the cabinets. Precision countertops suggested a local contractor who was able to correct the issue and once that happened, the template was made and shortly after our beautiful counters were installed. The installation crew was very courteous and professional and installed our oversized granite counters without any problems. My only gripe was having to pay a second templating fee after the initial issue was identified with the (not) leveling by the previous contractor.

    Very low integrity. They didn't plastic off the kitchen. Contain the kitchen. Dust is everywhere in my house. All over the entertainment center, speakers, and brand new TV. I suggested to them to plastic off the room before I left. I even bought the items to do so. Came home to sheetrock Dustin everywhere. Spent 12 grand and the backsplash is scheduled to get done 23 days laters. I would like to be compensated for the bad taste in my mouth. Great lip service but poor craftsmanship.

    Got my new new countertop after a defect in first countertop and then they said I would not receive any kind of warranty because it was a second install. The 1st install disaster was not my fault and I deserve a warranty! This is BS!

Only several months after they installed the bathtub, the caulking they used around the tub cracked and disintegrated. And, I learned today from a plumber that the bathtub itself was not put in properly-- they did not use a mortar bed! This is one of many examples of the corner cutting and sloppy work from Marin VIP Builders. I waited too long to file a complaint with the Oregon CCB. My advice: look elsewhere for your contractor.

    We hired Isaac and team to replace our kitchen counter tops, install tile back splash, and install…read morenew kitchen sink/faucet. We have a smaller kitchen (about 25 sq ft of counter top space). Photos show before on the left (or top), and after on the right (or bottom). The work was completed March 2024. Isaac was honest, straight forward, patient, and quick to respond to questions or concerns. His recommendations (e.g., 3cm thick quartz counter top), though expensive, were high-quality and ultimately a decision we do not regret. The sub-contractors were respectful and took their time, and did excellent work. Some additional details: For insurance purposes, we wanted the invoice of the kitchen counter tops. After several requests, Isaac was able to get this to us. We suspect the delay on this was due to the subcontractor: The invoice was issued by the vendor (Architectural Surfaces), addressed to the counter-top subcontractor, and had to be obtained from the subcontractor. Isaac was very professional, patiently replying to our several requests, and ultimately delivered the invoice. The project start date was delayed about 2-3 days due to cutting/delivery of the counter tops, but Isaac was quick to let us know this and quick to reschedule the start date. The counter tops and sink were installed in about 1-2 days, and the tile back splash and detail work took about 2 more days. I believe the work started on a Thursday and was completed by Sunday. Delays like these may not work for some people, but they were not a problem for us; it was very convenient that Isaac's team could come in on the weekend to complete the work. We did not get other bids on this kitchen-counter remodel, but we did have Isaac submit a bid for a master-bath remodel. Comparing his bid to two others, we can say his pricing is competitive.

The sink we liked would have to be special ordered and would not arrive in time for our project. Brian (I hope I remember his name correctly) was very helpful in that he located the same sink at another business where we would get it in time. We purchased the other items here and then went to their competitor to get the sink. We very much appreciate the effort he took to help us get what we needed and highly recommend their superb customer service.

Totally on board. Except when you feel like you are paying a penalty in both time and finances by going that route. 2012 was the year we decided to upgrade multiple kitchen and bath fixtures in our house. There are several specialty shops in Portland with a wide range of items beyond what you can find at Lowe's and Home Depot, but I wanted to stick a little closer to home. I was very excited to find this showroom just blocks from I-5 and the store itself is lovely. I've never been an internet shopper and while I research the bejesus out of retail items [1], the actual purchase of anything significant only comes after the all important sniff test. Or in this case, the touch and see test. Especially when you are looking at various finishes, you really need to see these items in person. A good friend, who recently went through a kitchen and bath remodel, recommended ordering through an online site. But, I decided to be a good little local consumer and ordered roughly ten items over the course of six months here. And while some of the in person experiences were swell, the overall experience was not. First of all, they seem woefully out of date regarding communication. Any retail business not taking full advantage of the web in this day and age is really missing the boat. They do have a website, and it turns out there are eleven locations throughout the Pacific Northwest, but it is minimal at best. There is one link to an employee's email, but we had a series of miscommunications by email, phone and in person. Several employees work at the store, but rather than deal with just one person we had multiple contacts. Because we didn't have a simple order (multiple items, some were on back order, etc.), it never seemed like the person we talked to knew what was going on. And when I compared the price I paid to the on-line site, theirs wasn't as good. So throwing a few extra dollars their way ended up feeling like a really bad idea based on the poor customer service. By the end of the project, I was ordering from the other on-line website. A few clicks of the mouse and items would magically appear on my doorstep. Go figure! Because I will always feel the need to see before I buy, I'll still stop by here. But actually buy something from here... nope. [1] It took me roughly 18 mo. and two dozen test drives to select my latest car.

    I had these folks move me from Vancouver to Hillsboro in early December 2021. I was quoted 3…read moreperson rate but only 2 showed up. The guys were nice and very courteous and said I'll only be charged for the rate of 2. One of the guys was new, first day I believe, but we all have to start somewhere and throughout the day he worked hard. Unfortunately this also made for a way longer day. The reason for the 2 stat review was that my dresser legs were broken off from the move. The dresser sits now on the floor and the bottom two drawers are a bit of a pain to get to and also because it sits flush now, harder to pick up when I tried to move it to another room. The moving guys said a manager will get a hold of me because insurance will cover it. A weeks goes by and nothing. I sent an email and was told they indeed have instance and I said great, send it via mail or follow up however as soon as he can. The person responded to my email never did. I followed up with a couple more emails and left 2 voicemails to the company but received no response. It's past mid January and thought I share. The price was decent, the movers were nice, but the follow up is this far none existent. Shortly after writing this, I was contacted by the movers. They had billing issues and everything was getting back online. I was given the credit and insurance is dispatched to address my broken dresser. Outside of the one broken item which took a bit long to resolve (but did resolve correctly) I was very happy with how everything went.

We knew no one would pick up because it was outside their business hours, but their voice mail said that they checked messages on Monday, so we left a message. We called them again on Tuesday afternoon, during office hours, and they said they checked messages hourly, so we left another message. No response. Finally, on Thursday, we requested a quote from the website (no response) and filled out their contact form. Someone finally responded to us on Friday, and we quickly responded back with the further details they requested. It's now Thursday of the next week, and we've been completely ghosted. Not a good experience! If they couldn't do what we wanted, we would have at least appreciated a response saying, "Sorry, we can't do what you want."
