I've been going to leave review for sometime now but could not find their finally found on my statement. I contacted Angel to clean out my aunts house. Told him I wanted to check items before being thrown into truck, he said would be able to check before thrown out. His father who speaks no english commanded his crew to give him anything of value found. I was constantly taking items he wanted plus the crew members were all making piles of items they wanted to keep. I found out the father told crew people to give him any precious jewelry if they found any. Crew would toss me items and take containers out to truck to throw out. I looked outside and they were going thru items in cans with the father to go thru ty hid from me. I was under a tight schedule or I would have thrown them out. I talked to Angel and he said he would be there on last day to be sure this wouldn't happen. He never showed up his father was there, I asked him later when he came end of day why, said he had another job. Ipaid over $8k for clean up to them. I called in the morning and received estimate then asked their availability to my surprise they were available same day in the afternoon. We agreed on a time frame and provided my address via text. Received a call an hr prior to arrival and when they arrived. They arrived on time w/ 3 employees in uniforms & completed the job within 10 minutes. I scheduled for a removal of a couch and a loveseat as my new furniture will be delivering on the same day. I called and got a quote and didn't commit as I was still getting quotes from others. Precise has the lowest quote. I read some reviews that their strategy is to quote a lower price and adjust a higher price when the arrive. I thought I will give this company a try and may prove it otherwise! Angel came and he quoted me higher. He came up with reasons that the couch is bulky and heavy - duh and have bunch of reasons why it should be higher. Since my new couch will be arriving on the same day, I need the removal regardless. I don't want to make another arrangement. I don't really care about the extra $ 20 or $60 dollar difference. Angel sounded like if he only quoted me $20-$40 difference, it's ok. I'd rather they are honest upfront and provide a range to the customer instead of the low quote and up charge me upon arrival. As a first time customer, it broke the trust and delivered a bad experience. Obviously, they feel that dishonesty is ok if it's a small amount difference. To me, either you are honest or you aren't. At the end of the day, the couch is removed, the job is done. But you can decide if you want someone to earn your business that way. It showed a lot about the company values that Angel boasted about but delivered otherwise. Different values and different expectation for everyone. The 1 star is given for job being done. Lack of communication for one, they promised pick up time to be 1-3pm and didn't give me heads up that it needs to be pushed back to 4 pm, making me wait all that time for nothing. After I spoke with Angel about how inconvenient it is to wait for updates that didn't come, he was like "what do you want me to do, we are running late". I just wanted an update of the eta considering I have other things I have to do. I rescheduled to the next morning and he assured me that he will come the first thing in the morning and will call me at 7:30 am. I have used their service multiple times to haul away junk by the thousands of pounds. Their team will call about 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment time, provide an estimate based on the size of the haul and then sweep up the area after. The team's quotes are usually lower than most other junk services and I've always felt like the team does a thorough job. Angel helped us out on short notice when I realized the sod I had displaced would be too heavy for green waste bins. He was able to arrive at 10 am on a Sunday after a 6 pm call on Saturday, and was able to load up and clean up in about a half hour. We could not have finished our landscaping project without his help. When he asked if we needed help with anyone else, we asked if he knew anyone who could cut trees around power lines, and lo and behold one of his crewmen used to work for Socal Edison, and Angel was able to provide a quote he stuck with right on the spot. Not even 24 hours later he was back with two trucks and a full crew, and was able to tastefully tame our two large camphor trees in half a day with minimal impact to our yard despite utility lines running through the middle of the trees. He even interfaced with our rear neighbors to make sure they were happy with the result as well. Everyone was courteous and hardworking and left our property as clean or better than I would have. Give Angel and team a call if you have any need with hauling, tree trimming, or other project work! Some peope might think hauling pricing doesn't make sense, however, Angel seemed to care about the waste type, and having taken carloads to the dump myself, I am well aware that there is a minimum disposal charge that typically increases depending on load size and weight. So, there should be a minimum fee that may not scale perfectly linearly. I found Angel's on the spot quotes for both jobs to be reasonable and a great value. read more

I spoke with Angel and he was able to book me for next day service. I had demo trash that had been in my backyard for years as well as a large amount of cardboard that I couldn't get into the recycle bin and out fast enough. Hector and Junior came out and were able to get everything I needed cleared in maybe 20 minutes. I haven't seen my back yard so empty, and it's great. They pulled a bait and switch! I talked to the office and arranged a date to clean out my mom's apartment, who recently passed. I was told they charge by how much of the truck you use. $99 minimum. $780 if you use the entire truck. They sent two men on the appointed date and said it would all fit in the truck - but the cost is $1,100. I called the office and they started to talk about weight of the items! I reminded him of our conversation and he caved and told the workers $780 if the entire truck is used. They said they called their supervisor and if they started to work they would be fired. I used Yelp to request some assistance loading a UHaul truck. This was my exact request: "I just need some assistance packing up a UHaul truck. No moving or storage needed. 10x20 Public Storage unit, ground floor, no stairs." A representative from Precise replied quickly with the following quote: "Thank you for your inquiry! Here is our price estimate and availability: Price Estimate $75 one time trip charge and $60 an hour (2 men crew, one hour minimum)" I booked for a Wednesday between 2-4pm. On the day of requested service, I received a call from Freddy, who was very friendly and polite saying their service would be delayed until about 4:30pm. I was understanding and easy going, as I didn't think it would be a huge job and Precise would take care of things, as they agreed to. NO ONE SHOWED UP. The storage unit closed at 6pm and after a few calls to Precise, it was determined that no one would be there on time. I should've seen this as a red flag, and looked elsewhere for service, but I figured maybe this was just a random mistake and had faith that they would come through, if I rescheduled for the following Wednesday. The following Wednesday (9/23), Precise arrived at the storage unit, late again, but I was still hopeful. The two representatives, one an older man, the other a younger boy, took a look at the the items I needed assistance with, (approx 20 boxes of various sizes, a bike, some dining room chairs, a snowboard etc), and quoted me $350. This was way higher than the quote I was given as I figured the job to take MAYBE 2 hours (ex $75 one time trip fee + 2 hours at $60/hr = $195 at most). I politely told them this seemed high and showed them (via Yelp) the conversation and quote I was given by their representative. The men told me they needed to make a call - this is when Angel got involved, and where the experience truly became terrible. I was given the phone to speak to Angel personally. I politely explained the quote I was given on Yelp. He told me they couldn't do it for that much and that it wouldn't be "profitable" for them. His phone manners and language were extremely rude. I then asked him why my quote was so much different than the price they were charging. He told me "that price is for hauling a single item like a refrigerator or something". My request noted that I needed help with a 10x20 storage unit, not a single item. I told him I don't think I would be able to afford this price and he hung up on me. Legitimately, the least professional, rudest person I've dealt with, in a professional/business setting. So, in closing - there's nothing "Precise" about Precise Junk Hauling. Their timing/scheduling is inaccurate. Their pricing/quotes are inaccurate, and as others have mentioned in previous reviews, they will charge you more than promised on the date of service. I ended up clearing out the storage unit alone, and it took me 2 hours and 10 minutes, to give you another idea of the size of the job. So again, it wasn't a huge project. Choose ANYONE else before choosing "Precise". And to anyone from "Precise" who reads this - Angel is rude, unprofessional, and not good for your business. read more

Bait & Switch seems to be their business practice. I had a quote of $300.00 in writing, and the guys showed up (on time), took a look and said it would be about 500. I said I was quoted 300...and they agreed to take it. I ended up giving them 350 as the guys were nice and helped move other things i hadn't planned on.
