Took my partner here and loved how they handled his hair. He is in the navy so he has to get his haircut frequently. They were so precise with his edges here, I was really impressed. There was only one guy workin the evening so the wait was a bit long but I think it was worth it because the gentleman paid attention to detail instead of rushing. read more

To start off I got a hair cut by the same guy Arturo(art) and I went back 2 other times hoping for a better result each time and was disappointed I normally don't leave reviews at all but his clippers had to be dirty because I got ring worm and everytime before even putting on the alcohol my skin would already be burning and I got terrible acne on the back of my neck and back of my head. Even after he only put alcohol on parts of neck like the m/f didn't care which really sets the tone for how coming back was gonna be like and I should stopped it at that. To be completely fair I haven't had a haircut from any of the other barbers there so maybe they would be better I wouldn't be able to tell you but look Arturo if you read this that was some b-s and you need to get your stuff straightened out if you still work there because no one's gonna wanna come back when you're not cleaning your tools atleast regularly. read more

Excellent service. Very nice and clean. Keeping up with Covid practices. Thanks to Tristan for the fade! It came out so clean!

Gabriel the shop owner, took me as a walk in the day before Thanksgiving. He did a great job and didn't take that long

Precise is the best ! If you have not gone yet, get yourself down there ASAP. A great haircut at a fair price by people that really know their trade. read more

First timer. Andrew was a real professional. He really took the time, I look great, and even my wife likes it. He even took the time to blend my sideburns with my beard. No one does that. The guys there are having a blast with each other. Entertaining just to watch. I will go back. read more

Was in LA for a little needed a cut hit this shop and I was happy with what u got the homie Alex got best cuts hands down

Late review but never too late to leave such an awesome review for this little diamond in the rough. Hidden away and nice and quaint like you would assume from any barbershop, precise barbershop is anything but ordinary. The atmosphere, skillful barbers and overall genuiniuity is all but found in great abundance. I was fortunate enough to have my hair cut by a quite talented young man named Tony who get this at only the age of 19 can do a wicked fade! (See pictures) Seriously though this kid has got talent and his mentor / owner of precise barbershop is quite the respectable gentleman as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a decent cut and overall just great experience when it comes to the barbershop experience. read more

Hair cuts are ok, service SUCKS! After my two hour wait last time I decided to make an appointment. Apparently you have to pay $4 more to make an appointment. When I asked why the guy on the phone told me that the extra fee was because they were saving me from the wait. Showed up to my appointment on time and was told 25 minutes later that my barber did not come in so I would have to wait. Really? The reason I made an appointment was not to wait. Their system is so bad. They have 5 barbers but only one taking walk-ins, and if the barber doesn't have enough appointments he just doesn't come in. What upsets me the most was that when I called for my appointment I asked the guy if he wanted to take my number down. His reply was "Nah, we don't need to. Just show up, we'll take care of you!" But they didn't! Not sure if I want to go back. read more

This place is great. I cut my hair with B and she is awesome. Great conversation, gives great haircuts and very detailed. Definitely will be a returning customer. read more

I went to the Barbershop looking for a quick like up, I had called ahead to asked how long the wait was I was told I'll be worked in, you know what it was cool. After waiting two grueling hours I was still not helped being the two of the barbers where just sitting. read more

Small barber shop. I walked in a few weeks ago needing a hair cut for a wedding. I was a little unsure of what to expect. They directed me to the guy who does the walk ins. Staff looks on the younger side. I usually get some bad haircuts when I just walk into a barber shop however. The guy who cut my hair did an amazing job. He did what I asked and he even trimmed my beard. I was scared he would cut to much but he took his time and I came out with one of the best hair cuts I've ever had. And the guy who cut my hair seemed to be the new guy so I can only imagine how good the other barbers are. Quality hair cut. Decent price. I gave the dude a 10 dollar tip because of how good of a job he did. He earned it in my eyes. I hope he continues to cut hair and I'll ask for him again if I see him. I was a satisfied customer. I'll return. read more

Been coming here for years and always ask for Manny. Always leaving with a sharp, clean cut

Had an app today w Manny never been here but a friend referred me because my barber I always go to is booked for a couple weeks. I didn't expect much because I thought my old barber was amazing but Manny cut my hair on point I can't even lie. I asked for a high low fade w a side part he even fixed the existing line and showed me it that it wasn't cut straight before and he fixed it which made me rethink my old barber. I think I found my new barber tho plus it's closer than going all the way to Downey. My haircut is prob the best haircut I ever got it's true it's not always the amount you pay for a cut. Thanks Manny I'm sure I'll be back read more

Van is a close friend of mines and today was actually my first time getting my hair cut by him! He was very social and he made sure that my hair cut was the way I liked it. Really liked my haircut here! It was my first time. I had a wedding to attend for the weekend and the guy hooked me up. $16 for a cut. Not bad. Especially when there places in Belmont Shore that I used to frequent and charged like $25 for a simple cut. read more

Precise Barbershop - My fresh cut for the wedding I went to - Barbers Near Me - Long Beach, California

I went today and got hooked up by the bro Gilbert. I don't know why I never bothered to look up this spot along time ago. All cuts are $14 and every dollar is a well spent dollar. If you're in Long Beach looking for a spot for your weekly haircut or looking for a quality haircut, this is the spot to go too! Another thing I liked was their customer service. When you enter the shop, you're greeted by the barbers. Some barbers I've been to they don't really greet their customers and make them feel welcome. On the other hand, these guys do. The vibe is really cool. The barbers are koo to talk to and its a real Barbershop feel. This is the new spot FOR SURE!!! read more

Went into get a haircut for the first time since July. My hair was long from all sides. Asked the barber to give me a medium low fade, with an inch off the top. The guy gave me a high face in one side and medium fade on the other side. He fucked up my hair. FUCK. read more

I stopped going to this place after about the 4th visit because: 1. Every time I made an appointment, they were usually running about 45 minutes late. I might have let this slide, but when they gave me the same excuse each time, I knew they were full of crap. The excuse was that they booked a guy named "John", but then had a walk-in with the same name, so they took him and got backed up because they had to also do the real "John" that actually had the appointment. 2. When he said he was "done", I ran my fingers through my hair and one side was way longer than the other. Really? Do I need to tell you that you have more to do? 3. It's in the ghetto, and I'm afraid a cop's going to shoot me or choke me out. read more

My 4 year old is a regular at Precise Barbershop.. I can't say enough about how talented and friendly the barbers are. ***TALENTED BARBERS ***EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE ( good job Gab and and his team!!) ***NO TIPYCAL BARBERSHOP ATTITUDE- ***GREAT VIBE. ...and to those complaining about the "rough" neighborhood, unless you're looking to move in the area, what difference does the neighborhood in which you go cut your hair make?! It's North Long Beach people, NOT Watts! (calm down). The neighborhood is just fine and safe. Keep up the good work fellas'. read more

This is a legit barbershop! Moved to long beach from NYC and finding a barber out here was probably the biggest challenge! After trying out a few barbers in LBC and South Bay Area, I finally tried Precise. Gilbert cut my hair the first time and has become my official barber out here. As long as I'm in this city (which is awesome by the way), I'll keep coming back to precise barbershop! Down to earth and friendly atmosphere. read more

I've been to a lot of barbershops growing up, and I must say this is one of the best. I've been coming here close to two years and I remember that ever since the first time I was warmly greeted by the barbers. One of the things I appreciated the most is that they keep a list and always tell u where u stand in line, unlike other barbershops where u wait 30 minutes and think u are next just to find out the person who walked in has an appointment. I also appreciate the fact that they treat new walk-in customers in the same friendly manner as the repeat long term customer. I have been to other shops where you would not be acknowledged or engaged in conversation unless you were considered one of the buddies. The prices are also reasonable considering the quality of barbers, who take their time and ask questions in order to ensure you get what you want and walk out looking fresh. read more

So I have been going around Long Beach trying to find a new barbershop home because my old one just was not doing it for me anymore. I needed a good cut so I saw this shop was open early so I thought I would give it a shot. I always get nervous going to new shops but this one was amazing. I was a walk in and I didn't even have to wait long. Andrew cut my hair and it was exactly what I wanted. He took his time too which was perfect. I literally was getting compliments all day. Definetly coming again and I think I found a new barbershop home. read more

Great barbershop. Went in on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment and had to wait a while but it was well worth the great cut and affordable price. The guys are funny and do a fantastic job, which most likely adds to the wait time but they're craftsmen. Another customer brought a beer in and I was immediately envious. Maybe the next time I'm in I'll bring a sixer, sharing is caring. read more
