Located on Atlantic these ladies here are "Very Nice & Professional" they offer many hair services and can get you in and out with no problem... I come during lunch and find I can still grab something to eat which for me is a Big Plus!!! Parking is hard to find but if needed you can park at the Ralph's and walk over... At $14 dollars per cut it's it reasonable!! I have been here twice and both times my hair cut has been perfect.... My new go to place!!! read more

Just left what has to be the worst haircut for me of the last 10 years. My barber called out sick so I just decided to get a 1 all around and a 2 on the beard. How could you mess that up? I asked her to clean up the bottom of my beard and she proceeded to shear a 3rd of my beard. WTF. she didn't even ask how much I wanted off she just decided for herself. Top 3 all time worst haircut of my life. Maybe the worst read more

I just wanted to update this review by stating Seng sold her business in 2022 and all the good barbers left. The new staff wasn't up to standards, like they had only given haircuts to relatives in their kitchens before working in a professional environment, and I haven't been back. I found a great barber at Razorback's (4th & Redondo). read more

Great haircut, great convos and great price! Martinez is very friendly and gives the best haircuts! She would be my barber if i lived here!

I just moved near the area and this place is walking distance to me. Went in was seen right away. I got a low fade, which was done well and it was done pretty quickly. I'm very satisfied, and the person who cut my hair was very nice. Very satisfied read more

Been coming here for over a year since the pandemic and Seng and her friends do an amazing job everytime. All skilled stylists and barbers!

I thought I would give this shop a try, based on reviews here. I was horribly wrong! I asked the person cutting my hair to leave some length in back...either she didn't understand English, or didn't know how to do that. I walked out with a "buzz cut" -- she basically took a clippers to my head and gave me the "pin head" look. Super short, all the way around. BEWARE. I don't understand all the positive reviews, maybe a previous owner? Currently (2023) I was very unpleasantly surprised. The good news? My hair will grow back one day. read more

I was able to pop in on a Saturday and get a quick haircut. Place was very inviting, comfortable. Barber did an excellent job.

I've been getting my haircut by Seng from this place for about 6 years now. Unfortunately Seng sold the place and moved to Kentucky. The new owner decided to keep the business name and hired new barbers. I decided to give them a shot and try them out. Sadly, I can definitely say I won't be coming back anymore. The new lady that cut my hair seemed like she was in a rush to finish even though I was their only customer and it was barely 10am. I ended up with a bad messy cut. Seng was a perfectionist and wouldn't rush whatsoever no matter how many customers she had waiting or what time it was. She would always make sure every haircut she gave me was thorough and up to her standards which were VERY high. I can't say the same about the new barbers. You will be missed Seng! read more

Been holding on leaving a review but I have been going here for almost 2 years. It's a great place and decently priced. The wait is not long. Love this spot! read more

Seng's seems to attract a steady flow of clients - three different people dropped by in the short time it took Sophia (Sofia?) to finish my husband's haircut. Sophia is his new go-to barber - he's raved about every haircut he's gotten from her. She's super nice and welcoming; so were the two other barbers. The interior looks like an Asian grandma's living room - eclectic mix of furniture and knick-knacks with plenty of seating. Limited street parking. Very reasonable prices. Remember that it's cash only. read more

This is the spot. Fantastic cut, friendly barbers and a relaxed atmosphere--everything I want in a barbershop. The woman who cut my hair was super nice. She worked quickly, but didn't rush and really made sure to get the taper just the way I wanted it. This was the best $20 I've spent in a long ass time. Go get your hair cut here! read more

My favorite barber was out of town for an extended period of time and I needed a haircut. I found Seng's on Yelp and decided to go. When I walked in without an appointment, I was greeted and immediately seated in Pam's chair. She gave me a great haircut! Thanks Pam! read more

Esma did a great job with my haircut. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come back.

This place has been here for years and I'd never heard of it before til today. I needed a haircut and my normal places were booked, and this place didn't have a wait so why not try it out? First walk-in, decor reminded me of some Khmer/Cambodian salons that I used to go to as a kid. Got in a chair right away with stylist Khan (not sure if I spelled it right), and I explained how I would like my hair cut. She cut it fast and according to my wife, this is the best haircut I've had since moving back into the area. I couldn't agree more as most times I spot a few strands here and there from other places. Good pricing, $14 for a haircut and $5 for a beard trim. Will definitely be going back here from now on. read more

Ever since a friend of mine recommended this place to me, I haven't been to any other barber. The parlor and its barbers are very welcoming to both new and returning customers. I've had my hair cut by Seng, Sophia, and Khan--they all do amazing work as they're attentive to detail and your instructions. They communicate with you as they work, asking you if what they're doing is okay with you. I appreciate that as in my experience I found that not all barbers provide the same professional care. Khan cut my hair during my last two visits and she truly did a great job. I had long hair and I wanted to grow it out again, so I asked her to cut it shorter but with the same proportions. I usually use product 24/7 with my hair, but with Khan's work I can rock my usual combed-back pomade hair or go with a productless, more natural, loose style. I never knew that look could work for me and I'm grateful for Khan's work. Lastly the pricing is more than fair for the quality of work @ $14 (for an adult haircut, other services may cost more or less depending). As others have said, remember that they're cash only and that parking in the area is tough. I usually go in the morning to avoid this and find a spot nearby. If you're looking a new, good barbershop, definitely give them a go! read more

Very nice and professional customer service good prices and quality haircuts! Looks good to me

This is my go-to barber. I am a little torn leaving a review because I don't want to put this secret spot on the map, but they deserve the praise. While all of the stylists are excellent, Sophia (Sofia?) is amazing. She painstakingly ensures that all of the little things are just right, and never rushes through a cut. Parking is a pain but the location is really good if you work in DTLB. Keep in mind that this is a CASH ONLY spot! read more

I usually like the hair cut I get here. But today I specifically told the lady dont cut top part of my hair too short, and I confirmed with her no more than quarter of an inch and she cuts off way more than that. read more

This place is absolutely a great find! Seng makes sure to take care of you. And I've only been her customer 1x and another associate of hers did my hair last time (wasn't as good as Seng). This place is a find! I asked for an undercut and it was perfect. The price was an excellent value. Thank you Kim and Seng!

I decided to try out this location awhile back and I enjoyed the experience so much, that now, I don't think of going anywhere else. Seng, the proprietor of this establishment takes her time to give you the haircut you want. She doesn't rush and I like that. She has since, remembered my name and welcomes me every time with, "Hi Erick, I'll be with you in a little bit." She always asks how I'm doing and what's new with me. I feel so relaxed with her that I typically doze off mid-haircut. If you come in and she has clients ahead of you, she will call you when he chair is available. That shows how much she appreciates her clients. I come here twice a month now and always leave feeling fresh and clean. She also had a lot of random paintings and decorations on the walls that keep you entertained. I especially like the metallic green peacock. read more

I needed a quick haircut before heading back home to Oakland to end my Winter Break. Did some Yelp searches and this shop turned up. Thank god it was open on New Year's Eve of all days! Walked in and was immediately attended to by Seng herself. She was very nice, simply put. Had a meaningful conversation with her while she cut my hair. Also very attentive to detail so I got the perfect new style for the new year! All for $13? Great value. Excellent service! ------------------------- TL;DR - Beats most, if not every, barbershop / hair salon in the Bay Area. Very attentive to detail. Go. Get your hair cut. You need it, or you wouldn't be looking at Yelp. Seng's prices are completely reasonable - or less - so your poverty is not an excuse. I live in San Pedro, and was looking for a good place since i wasn't satisfied with hair places here. I happened to have plans in long beach one saturday and decided to get a cut. After looking at some reviews, i found Seng's and was NOT disappointed! I was pretty unsure of what i wanted for my hair, and only had a picture to loosely describe the style. I could tell from the get-go that Seng had both experience and confidence as she tackled the challenge. Everything was explained along the way and the results were so clean. She was so patient with it too. Like we were working on it together. She even included some hair product, and a straight-razor shave at the end of the haircut. To top the fantastic service off, Seng was a really great conversationalist and made me laugh. She was super open about herself and it was just nice to feel like she was happy i was there. I'll definitely be going back. :) read more

A little overdue, but my husband and I came here a few months ago. We had a few hours before we had to board our cruise ship, and he decided to get a hair cut. We found Seng's nearby and came in based on the reviews. Very friendly staff, and not a long wait. The hair cut was quick and turned out even better than he imagined in his mind. It was also a great price! By far, his favorite place! It's too bad we don't live in Long Beach, or else he would be a regular customer. read more

I brought my son about a month ago for a hair cut and we both agreed it came out really nice. My man liked my sons cut so much he came on another day for a hair cut as well. Now all three of us are here for father and son hair cuts. The two ladies working here are very nice and they actually cut your hair the way you ask them to! Definitely the best Barbershop we've been to! All of the ladies are SO nice and do such a good job. And you cannot beat the prices there.
