Fade barber shop has given me the best service for many years now, and continues to give exceptional service to this day. I have been coming to this barber shop for many years now, for sure over ten now. They have always had great barbers throughout the years. At the moment Lonzo and Scott are the best by far. I've been coming to this barber shop since I was in the 7th grade (27 now), they've always had great barbers. Their service is always great and their prices are by far the best I've heard comparing to other friend's of mine barber shops. Comparing haircuts to my friends.....in my opinion Fade Barbershop have the 2 best barbers in the area....Lonzo and Scott. You may have to wait for them to be available every once and a while because they're so good and always busy BUT WORTH THE WAIT!! Worst haircut my son has ever gotten and worst barber techniques I've ever witnessed. My wife really wanted my son to get a haircut and as expected most barbershops are closed on Sunday. I found Fade Barber Shop to be one of the only ones that open on a Sunday, so I decided to give them a try. My sons haircut was awful! The worker used regular clippers with plastic clips. He didn't even blend in the lines he created. Instead of using a flat comb to do a straight fade and even out the hairs sticking out he decided to used free hands and float the clippers. YOU DONT DO THAT WITH KIDS!!!! Kids move and no matter how steady you think your hands are.... kids will be kids. I don't know if the barber assumed that his haircuts can be forgiving on kids or if he just wasn't a good barber. But I will never ever step foot in this barbershop again. By the way they're hiring! I read nothing but good reviews about this barber shop on Yelp, but man did i end up getting screwed, I went there this last weekend in a emergency haircut need i ended up with the worst haircut ever, i got a comb over, which the fade was ok, but then the barber guy asked me i wanted to get the fuzz cleaned up in front of my forehead.. so i said ok, seconds later this guy is cutting away and basically giving me a dam line up i never asked for, it totally fucked up my day and now my week, DO NOT USE THE YOUNG BARBER WITH GLASSES, i don't remember his name but dam did he ever screw me.. Barbershop doesn't have a system to have proper coordination on who has been waiting for a long time and the ones who had just arrived. I end up leaving once I asked a barber if they have a system on whether who has been in the barbershop longer than others and she froze with a blank face and says there have been people waiting longer than me. I don't recommend this barbershop, you'll just end up wasting your time trying to get a haircut there. I waited for 1and a half hour. Brenda did a really good job and I was quite impressed with that neck massage that came before the cleanup. They both had really great personalities which will make me want to go back there again. This is my spot for a trim. It can get pretty busy but the hours are right, they don't mess around and start cutting early in the am and even on Sunday's which is perfect for me. Once you are a regular here they will treat you right, especially the ladies which have some nice chop skills. The fade's are right point and the price is even better. I read the reviews on yelp and was looking for an alternate barber shop. I found it interesting that I passed by many times by this place and didn't seem appealing. I've only had 2 persons explain why my hair should be cut the way it should be and Maria at Fade was able to explain that to me. I was impressed. Mainly because the persons who explained to me how my hair should be cut charged me 50 and 25 for a 'deluxe' haircut I paid only 12$ and got the same if not a better haircut which I loved. I will be returning to fade more often as I was impressed. Alma gave me the best hair cut I've ever had and I will be going back. You walk in and ask for whatever barber you'd like. It costs $12 for a hair cut. You don't need to make an appointment. However, the guy that cut my hair seemed to practicing his cutting skills on me or something because he managed to push my hairline like 2 inches higher than usual.
