I have gone to this establishment multiple times with decent results simply because they can get you right in and I'm on time constraints with appt's etc. It was never my favorite but today took the cake. I got a pedicure that started out with the tech cutting my skin from clipping to much toe nail off than proceeded to file my skin area. The french turned out like a 2 year old did it. Nevermind my nails. I asked for a pink and white mani/fill. She than dosed my nails with acetone and wrap to remove the nails I just got on a couple weeks ago. It was not pink and white just standard and ugly. Again I just needed a fill and color. She kept looking at the abrasion on my toe but never bothered to give me a discount or anything like that. If you get the general pedicure don't expect a foot massage. I thought I was happy with how everything came out until I left and looked closer. Worst experience EVER!! Do not go!! Not from area, needed to get my nails done so I couldn't go to my regular spot. Walked in and asked for a fill (had 8 of my 10 acrylics), picked my color and was seated. The second my nail personal sat down she asked what I wanted and I said a fill. I showed her my nails and she processed to take an existing acrylic and rip it off. Anyone reading this who has gotten acrylics before knows how much that hurts. Then she looks up at me and says "Sorry. Full set?" I continue to tell her I only want a fill. She does my nails, hardly pays attention to them, some nails are too thin, some WAY to thick. While getting them done she was staring at the TV watching whatever WHILE working on my nails. Regardless to say they came out awful, she kept applying coats of polish before even letting me dry them, needless to say they smudged (are sitting under fan for 15). Just don't go. read more

Me and my daughter went to get our nails done. I got my feet done. They force expensive pedicures on you and hate when you say you want basic. My daughter had acrylic on. She's 11. It's my choice to let her have them. She chose to take them off and get gel. The nail tech she had came up to me and yelled at me for having nails on her. It was unnecessary and not okay. Not the mother and no way to say how she felt. She could have expressed her feelings about acrylics better. She was also very mean when calling my daughter to her station. I was so angry after going here. I asked for black coffin nails with ombré glitter. The glitter was dabbed on super uneven and was no where near ombré. It looked like a 5 year old did my nails. The man kept asking me to do more stuff that he was going to charge me for, super pushy. Rude when I said no. The acrylic is not only lumpy, but the paint itself isn't even fully covering my nail! The man was extremely rough and kept yanking my hand, and squeezed my fingers way harder than he should have. I visited Precious nails for the first time today as my favorite nail salon was booked. The nail technician who worked with me was very nice. I had a pedicure which was pretty basic followed by a dip manicure which Ive never had. The nail technician respected my wishes as I requested her to manual buff my natural nails instead of using a drill. This I greatly appreciated! The dip powder manicure didn't come out as I had hoped or as I have a seen on friends. For $38 it is much more bumpy and marked up on a few nails per hand than id. Unfortunately I don't think I can recommend Precious Nails for more than a basic pedicure. Update: The dip manicure lasted maybe 3 days. After that it began to lift off of my natural nail. read more

I got the powder manicure on Saturday and it's Monday and I have two fingers that are throbbing in pain because the Tech was so rough with the electric and manual file! The technician was an older woman and cut my nails so short she gave me an ingrown toenail. During my pedicure she was rough and aggressive with me. Not only that but she left my manicure bubbly and there's even a hair stuck in it. I came in for waxing, had appointment made in advance and arrived on time. The technician was trying to do everything very fast, even though there were no line and barely anybody in the salon. She was rushing and did everything very sloppy. After about 3-5 minutes, she said it's all set and gave me mirror. I pointed out couple spots she missed. She sounded annoyed, and attempted to pluck some hair, then stated it's all set. When I got to my car and checked my face - there were still several spots missed- not just a few hairs, but literally areas totally missed. In addition on the next day I got pimples and bad irritation on the waxed areas( it's not my first time waxing, and it never happened to me before). I paid $30. I went for the final time to get my pedi. I can't believe how bad they are there. At one time the pedicurists were good and personable, but those days are gone!! I decided to cut back my nails myself because they insist on leaving them long and I can't have that. I do Ashiatsu massage and that means I massage with my feet. Because I cut them he figured he didn't need to shape them. I told him to please smooth out the edges. Next he starts salting my legs and I ask him if he is going to do my feet and make them smooth. He was surprised and said ok if I wanted him to....... WANT HIM TO??? Yes!! This is a damn pedicure!! He does a shoddy job and my feet are still rough. He polishes and it looks like crap. I was searching for a place to get me and my daughters pedicure done. Because the place I usually go to couldn't take us till later in the day. So I searched Yelp and found this place. And I loved it. The place was gorgeous. The people were so nice. I liked that they used plastic inserts in their pedicure stations very sanitary. They didn't force you to upgrade to a "Better" service for more $$. And it was still a great service for $30.00. This will now be my place to go to. Very rude staff. I brought my daughters here for a group manicure. We were immediately pressured to upgrade to a more expensive treatment. I said "no thank you". She pressured more and asked me why I would not want it. I was forced to be uncomfortably firm with her in front of my daughters with another "I said, no thank you". She then took attitude with me and sat us at the farthest apart chairs she could. One daughter in a far corner, one in the center, and me at the other corner. I felt like we were being punished. She pointed to the chairs and just yelled, "You sit down". No more smiles. She then stood in the doorway of a back room and yelled in her native language at someone who was to come and do my manicure. This person yelled back. They had a few exchanges and I began to feel as though, I was interrupting someone's break or something. I definitely did not feel welcome. I cancelled my own manicure. Watched my children get theirs, paid, and left a $5 tip per manicure. No "thank you please come again", nothing. I have been to many nail salons from Mass to Maine. I now Live in Derry and have visited a few. By far Precious nails salon is the best one. I would never go any where else. I usually get the diamond pedicure and Gel nails and they always give me the best pedicure and manicure I've ever had. Not to mention their customer service is outstanding! I went in wanting 2 broken nails fixed. I assumed they understood I'd want those nails painted too. Nope. The tech fixed the 2 broken nails and told me to pay $6. I asked if he was going to paint my nails. He abruptly said "NO." He told me to go back to where I had my nails originally done to match the color. He had no intention of painting my 10 nails, which I was happy to pay for. And I had waited to be helped as well. So, I went to pay my $6 for the fixed, unpainted nails, was told the minimum charge was $10, so I paid $10 to fix 2 nails and left with them unpainted and needed to go somewhere else. The man doing my nails was so pre occupied with the phone and greeting people he cut my pinky I was bleeding the whole time I was there and the nail shape is so uneven and the paint job looks like a 2 year old got ahold of nail polish.
