Last Friday I met Sean who welcomed me into his office to review some jewelry I no longer wanted. He patiently walked me through the process and gave me estimates on every piece. He offered some valuable advise on a ring I had been told was nothing special; Sean tested the stone and discovered that it was indeed a sapphire. He even advised not to sell to him but to locate another jeweler who would be able to assess the real value. I admired his honesty, the professional yet friendly helpfulness of our exchanges. I originally had been told about the reputation of PMR/PRECIOUS METALS REFINERY to be honest and fair. I was not disappointed. I doubt that you would be either! read more

My review is about Alex Weller who was working that day in the Green Valley location. What a bonus that I had the pleasure to work with him on my jewellery downsizing project. Alex has a sensitive relaxing way about him. He is observant, is a clear communicator and moved to our area from Hawaii. Alex noticed that I had on a Hawaiian Bracelet and that opened up a common thread that we both loved talking about. Alex never lost his focus. We would all benefit if we had more "Alexess"(?) supporting businesses in our community. I will always check that he is available to work with me at the Green Valley location before I head back to PMR. HE IS A KEEPER! read more

Forget Ebay, forget the pawn shops, sell here. This place has the most honest and professional ladies I have ever worked with. Kim, and Lei-shell worked hard for me to get me the best prices for the valuables I wanted to sell. They discovered one item that was worth more than I thought as it was rare and I did not realize that, then they took the time to research and got me a very nice sum for the item. Most places would have not told you that you had something special so would have ripped you off, then treated you like some sucker. They do the work and research here and pay honest prices. I will continue to do my metals selling here in the future. read more

I highly recommend Evelyn at PMR in Green Valley, Arizona. On two separate occasions I brought in both gold and silver jewelry to be appraised. I had quite a lot of pieces and Evelyn was extremely patient, not to mention so knowledgeable and clearly loves helping people. We had such a wonderful conversation about jewelry and Evelyn was so complimentary about the pieces I'd acquired throughout the years. She is very sincere, was so generous with her time plus I was so pleasantly surprised with the value of my pieces. I recommend Evelyn without reservation. Thanks Evelyn! Helen B. read more

After attempting to purchase a sizable transaction ,on line, with a large precious metals firm, dealing in gold and silver, I was presented a 14 page document as part of the purchase. I canceled the transaction and searched locally. I was referred to PMR by my banker and was elated to find a repeatable firm. From the start of our discussions, I felt a honest and knowledgeable selling agent who answered all my questions and concerns in a non pressured manner. I will be doing additional business, in the near future with this 100% firm. read more

We went to PMR today and met with Kim. She knows her business. Today, we traded some silver flatware that has been sitting in a box for years. We have also been to PMR to trade in some old, broken gold jewelry. Kim is friendly and professional. She makes you feel welcome, is humorous and deals with honesty. She explains the how and why of trading and as we left, I knew we were treated fairly. If we need to sell more precious metals, we will definitely be returning to PMR. Thank you, Kim. read more

excellent experience. Janna was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Also demonstrated caring and understanding about giving up memorable family items that would just "sit in a drawer" I appreciated her experience in the business. Very patient and understanding. Had a great time talking with her as well as getting some $ which I felt was very fair! I will definitely return as I also appreciate that there is now a location in Green Valley and saved some travel time for me! read more

I was met at the door by a very friendly Asst Mgr, Kim! Such a nice lady with an abundance of knowledge! I had a ton of "little things" that took a while to go through but she didn't mind at all. There was a bracelet that I had that was questionable what the metal was so she suggested I keep it rather than getting low dollars for it. I appreciated her honesty and candor. This wasn't my first trip to PMR in Green Valley and it won't be my last! read more

I'd never been in this store before when I walked in yesterday and met with Lei-Shell. I brought an item in and she sound with the item was worth and completed the silver quickly. I went back in the afternoon with a number of items I just no longer use or wear and again had great service. I highly recommend this firm and especially Lei-Shell. From what I could hear an experience anyone you would deal with and there would be great to work with. read more

Kim and Janna visited our home to review, evaluate and purchase a collection of old silverware that had been sitting unused in boxes for decades. They explained the valuation process clearly and had all the necessary weighing and testing materials with them. They moved through the entire process in a pleasant and well-coordinated team effort, helping us reach a conclusion that was fair and equitable for all. A 5 Star rating for sure! read more

Kim greeted us as soon as we walked in. She escorted us into her office and asked if we'd like coffee or water. She was super friendly and explained how she was assessing each item that we brought in. It took less than 20 minutes to complete the service and we left with a fair amount of cash! I would recommend PMR and Kim to anyone looking for an honest and timely appraisal. Kate read more

Really enjoyed selling my silver at PMR! Evelyn and Jimmy the Jeweler gave me a very fair price for it. And paid me in cash! The store is in an office type setting with comfortable chairs and private room for security. They even have great coffee and tea . I would definitely use them again. I've been to PMR in Green Valley three times since silver started its rapid ascent. Evelyn helped me on each visit and she was great. PMR purchases precious metals for a very fair price and I couldn't be more pleased. As long as the spot price continues to rise, I will gladly do more business with them. PMR is efficient, friendly and fair. Highly recommend! read more

I made an appointment online, very user-friendly website. Doreen was waiting for me. I had a 10 karat class ring and was curious how much gold it contained. Doreen used a tool that measured the amount of gold in it, and surprisingly, it had about 2 grams of pure gold. I really enjoyed our visit, and she gave me a great price for that old ring! read more
