Very nice jeweler in the business strip behind Gaslight Theater…read more I came in to see about this faux pearl necklace of my wife's who received it from her late mother. It was discolored. Jack was professional, very friendly, and informative. He gave me a jar of their pearl cleaner. Gave. He has a wonderful personality. This jeweler has several collectables, too. Porcelain dolls, trains, etc. and also importantly, coins. They have a numismatist Tuesdays through Saturdays and do appraisals with offer to buy. I find this jeweler to be very helpful and friendly. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Remarkable business with a spin on taking care of the customer!…read more Absolutely amazed me when I brought my Father in Law in here to check it out since we moved him out here. I know nothing about 'collecting money', pun probably intended... but wow, talk about history, international money and an 'auction'?? Seriously! This place, being here for DECADES has bidding auctions on each weekend for some of the rarest of items you can find monetarily speaking, which is an incredible opportunity for social networking as well! I was educated for an hour on things to consider when looking for collectors items, but I was mutually impressed with the amount of technology they possess to actually inspect coinage at the metallic level - for fakes. Wonderful, polite and extremely informative Staff, and did I not mention they have donuts for the customers on the weekend? This business will even sell money you want to sell. I know, a weird way to sell money but the point here is their absolute uniqueness and fair pricing. My FIL who's a sincere collector said this business is the best he's seen from here to North Carolina. That should speak for itself! H-I-G-H-L-Y Recommend coming in!

Quick summary of a very professional and pleasant transaction. Arrived, greeted at the door - invited to a comfortable, super clean office. Worked with Dart in assessing the item's value. Dart was thorough and back up support from Mickey was welcomed and kind. After validating the items authenticity, they quickly worked (read minutes) with their buying team and made a fair and reasonable offer. We proceeded to lunch to digest the offer, during which the general manager Chad phoned from another location. A pleasant conversation, he was checking in to see if we had any questions and he generously revised the companies offer a bit further based on new information in our favor. Even had he not, I get the sense he would have called to inquire about our overall experience. His inflection and communication were genuine. This place has the down-home feel of a small business with the resources and equipment of a sophisticated, highly credible business. Bottom line: Thank you to Chad, Mickey, and Dart for making this transaction, smooth, easy and most importantly, fair.

They came back with a piece of paper with a weight and 14k. Verified. Today I went in to sell the chain to an old lady off marketplace and thought I'd go there because she wanted to meet at a pawnshop to verify it. The manager comes back after I handed him the chain and says to the old lady in Spanish that it was plated. Not only did I miss out on 700 bucks of profit but I felt horrible being accused of trying to sell plated jewelry. I took it to be verified with a gun and it most certainly was 14k solid gold. All Karat Chains 10,14,18 etc have steel springs in the clasp. Springs cant be made out of gold. So he was uneducated at best but going to the lady and telling her in Spanish not to purchase it because its plated was unacceptable behavior. The only place on the 24 inch chain was the clasp, also 14k but with a steel spring. On top of that they only pay people 40% of scrap on gold. Literally anywhere else will pay more. Hopefully this helps people make better choices.
