The trail is very photogenic and has cute moments but beware the trash on the ground which can cause sporadic realizations that you aren't in the wilderness, but Austin instead. There are a few entry points to the trail so choose wisely but there is one with a parking lot that may provide better selections. Altogether the trail is very fun and allows for great photo ops with pets and family alike, with some even deciding to get in the water (if you do choose to do that be careful cause the rocks are slippery).

COP is that nice spot in the Domain right between North and Cru where the fountain, fireplace, and giant armadillo abide. This makes for a lovely waiting area while your partner shops down the street or you bide time for your name to come up on a nearby restaurant waitlist. Shoyu Sugar is Hawaiian grill and a favorite amongst visitors. Boba bites and tea, had their very first event and are in the process of opening their shop soon. A business to be continued, as I love their teas! Dash realty was there too with a bean bag toss, giving out balloons and candy. Cutco with their knives. Ten thousand villages had some beautiful fair trade goodies. All vendors had quite a long line. Moi's customers faced a long time in the burning Sun, but Asians love food! Weh? Sold out within 2 hours! The DJ's supplied great vibes inside the VUKA building, which is modern, spacious, air-conditioned, a great place for events. It hosted the space for a Limbo race, and crafting paper fans by 'open eyes beyond border' for the Lil' ones. The event would take place all day, and it is a hot day. A great event! The dragon dance was very much entertaining. People had their dollar bills ready! Oh, how we love to feed the dragon to get luck and prosperity! Yes, yes, Chinese dragons are believed to have control over water, rain, hurricanes and floods. They also represent power, strength and good luck. The Chinese believe that performing the dragon dance during festivals and celebrations drives away evil spirits and ushers in good luck and blessings for the community.

It was created between 2003 and 2008 with help from the residents of the Brentwood and Crestview neighborhoods. Every tile depicts, a family, a business, a school, a person, and churches along with 7 historical narratives. It depicts the history of this neighborhood area including many past and current businesses. Also found within this standing relief are some personal anecdotes that flow along most of the wall. Yesterday, I purchased some chocolates from Golden Eye. This is the first of several treats I have planned for him. Unfortunately, Golden Eye Chocolates will be closing in about a month, so purchase some chocolates before they close down. Golden Eye is named after the golden eye flower (perennial flower with a sunflowerish look). I tried one of their samples...so smooth and creamy unlike any traditional chocolate I have ever tasted. So, I bought six chocolates. They are a little pricey at $20 given their small size, however, a nice Father's day treat. This chocolate is quite unique with flavors like matcha latte, malted grackle, blood and honey and spiced chai. Also, the owner uses items that are unique to Austin such as the golden eye flower, chocolate sunflower and fruit bats. I also like that some of the chocolate is sourced from Venezuela, Tanzania, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic (DR). I tasted DR chocolate for the first time in November when on a cruise and it was absolutely delicious. In addition to selling chocolate pieces, they sell candy bars and coffee. Service was excellent. I learned the chocolates are made in south Austin and transported to the north location. In addition, I learned the owner is a pro nature and that's why she chose the name golden eye after the flower. The shop is small with no seating indoor or outdoor. Personal favorites- Husband said the coconut chocolate (speckled sky blue) was great, and I loved the cherry bomb (swirled red)- their take on a cherry chocolate but with a lovely cherry jam instead of a candied cherry. I also really enjoyed the 'basic' chocolate truffles- smooth, creamy, and decadent!

There's all kinds of wide open fields that are undeveloped, along side big corporate strip malls bringing you all the best places to shop and eat. The streets are wide and the lanes are a'plenty here. The streets are well kept, and the views are scenic. They have oversized parks that serve the entire Austin metroplex! I can see the tempo here is a bit slower than in Austin. It's still a suburb of the Austin metro area, where property values are less and you can afford more than living on Sixth Street. The sign outside the town says, "Wilkommen" which is a shout outto the town's German heritage! Ja Ja Ja!!! This town is growing, so be sure to see it before it becomes completely incorporated into the growing Austin scene.

This to me is a major safety hazard, when the whole block of lights are out and nobody cares enough to handle, until someone gets mugged,violated,etc... This has been an ongoing issue with in this same area frequently, not sure what the issue is but it needs to be resolved. I plan on making a formal complaint to the City Manager in addition to this review
