The staff was very nice. You can see the inside of the kitchen from the waiting area and it's a very young team in the kitchen, which you don't often see in restaurants. You don't get fortune cookies. The portions are on the smaller side for everything. I'm the most impressed with the lemon chicken and chicken balls. The fried crust on both of them is light and crispy. I found the beef and broccoli to be lacking in flavour. The other courses that we ordered were alright and inoffensive. I must say the chicken chow mein is very underwhelming. Not only was it dry and bland, but it also hardly had any chicken bits. For the price and taste, I wouldn't really recommend this restaurant.

For one, when you come to pick up your food the room looks like it is a hoarder's spot for cardboard boxes. Why? Not sure. This is the second time I have ordered a combination meal with shrimp.in the old days they were perfect. Two times, many months apart I have gotten shrimp that were obviously old, rebattered and refried. Just terrible. I sympathize with small restaurants trying to make it, but if shrimp is so expensive you must use it two days (or more since they weren't open yesterday), maybe leave them off the menu. I hope things improve but I probably won't be back.

Ss pork, chicken chow mien and beef chop suey. We got it home and dished it up. First bite of the chow mien and it was tough. Yeah I have never heard of tough chow mien noodles before. first for everything. I couldn't believe it. So I tried the ss pork and the pork was so chewy I couldn't eat it. Then there was the chow mien. I must admit the veggies were ok but the beef was chewy also. Feeling ripped off again and my hubby complaining about getting a crappy meal again. I called them. Oh how shocked they were... Yeah right. You should know you serve someone not so good food. Ok so she says they will give a ss pork and a chow mien next time so we don't have to take back the food. that day. I said what about the chow mien. :) they didn't want to give us a chow mien because the vegetables were ok. OMG... Just what I want the chow mien eaten with chewy meat on one day and the rest of the dinner on another. I couldn't believe it. As it was I had to be cooking something up for dinner since the food was no good. So I told her I would just pack the whole thing up and my husband will take it back so they can return our money and we just will not bother to try them out any more. Unfortunately I think our search will continue... Most of the dishes are quite small for the price. That would be fine if the quality and flavour were stellar, but they were all quite boring and bland. We had 7 different dishes and only one of them was something that our group commented on being very good. That was the bbq pork fried rice. It was dark and smoky, and full of little bits of pork. Not bad. It was also a much larger portion than everything else. The rest were all more blasé. The saucier options - sting beans with garlic sauce, crispy ginger beef, and sweet and sour pork, were all surprisingly lacking flavour. The fried things are all quite oily too. The almond chicken was dripping with grease. On top of that, I found a long black hair tangled in my chow neon. Given the price, combined with general lacklustre flavour and other issues, it means it's really tough for us to rate this more than a 2 star experience.
