The Dr is very gentle with my son, explaining the procedure to both of us, and answering any questions we may have. Not only did he tell me I needed glasses but he found an infection too (he prescribed some medicine for my eye). About a week later (the infection was cured) I went back in for my glasses. WOW! what a huge difference that new glasses make, I couldn't believe I let my vision go for so long. I was having a few issues with my vision and the doctor dilated my eyes. He said I had to go immediately to see an ophthalmologist/surgeon because he believed I had a detached retina. The office called Wheaton Eye Clinic and got me in that morning. Turns out the doctor was correct and if I had put it off much longer I was risking my vision in that eye. After a disaster with the Trifocals and small frames, that were recommended to me, when I wanted progressives and larger frames, I returned twice to exchange. The first time I returned I was told by James that my headaches were due to dehydration. He never bothered to ask my educational background and assumed I was uninformed. I am a nurse of 29 years. I gave the trifocals another week try with no improvement. I returned them on a day when James was not there and was told only he could approve a refund. When I finally was able to speak to him on the phone, he told me he would not refund my money and that he would have progressives made for me with larger frames. I had them made and am fairly happy with them. They are 100% better than the trifocals. I suspect that Eyedeal Optical gets there glasses from a mass produced company that does not make custom glasses, so what you receive is close to the prescription you need at best. My husband has been wearing progressive lenses for years. And he got his new glasses the same time I did and he can only use the them when on the computer. The distance and close reading prescriptions are wrong. Suffice it to say that although they were recommended by family, we will never use them again. For our glasses. I will just order on line just like they do, and save myself alot of money and frustration.
