Love this office, went to book my son's first appointment and was told they are only open until noon on Saturdays. I asked when that had changed as I've had appointments in the past and I work till noon on Saturdays. Per the receptionist that's the way it's always been. So I started a search on my insurance website to find a new eye doc. Much to my surprise it said this location was open until 2pm, checked it against their website and it says the same. Called back for clarification and the last appointment is noon but they remain open until 2 and this time when I asked it had changed to give their staff time for the appointments and that's why I had appointments in the past later. I completely understand the change but please consider putting accurate information on you website I never would have chosen an eye doc I can't see without taking time off work. And though I wouldn't expect to be able to book a 2pm appointment when you close at 2, the 12:30 or 12:45 appointment I would have requested doesn't seem unreasonable based off the hours listed on your website. read more

Dr. Tsiftilis is in my phone as "the eye guru" (really) I have a high astigmatism and had given up on the strongest toric contacts. I've worn glasses since I was 3 years old but my vision had gotten so bad over time that it wasn't even good with glasses anymore. I could barely read. I had seen several Dr's over about 5 years of worsening vision with no answers. I tried one last time with no real optimism. Dr. Tsiftilis was extremely thorough and found that my astigmatism had never been properly measured (it was WAY off) and I have some age related changes now too. He got me the correct prescription in a new type of hybrid lens to correct both issues and I honestly believe he saved my vision. I'm an artist and a nurse and I had honestly given up ever working in those fields again. He did not let me give up. With their patience and education and some practice, I can see more clearly than I ever have in my entire life, literally! I had no idea how much I was missing and I can't wait to see everything! The staff is caring and compassionate, always happy to answer questions and work with you around school schedules for kids or deal with your insurance, and they make sure you have the right supplies. Elsa the office manager is wonderful and Autumn just brightens your day Idk all their names yet, but I will. I'm a client for life. If you have special issues, give them a try. And if you just need regular glasses, they have a great selection of kids and adult frames. read more

I'm not a local, but if I were, this would be my eye doctor. No doubt. I was spending Memorial Day weekend with a family member and realized on Saturday morning that one of my contacts was split right down the middle. No spare, no glasses. The staff here was friendly and generously offered to help me with a replacement if my regular doctor could fax a prescription. 30 minutes later, I had replacement lenses (from the doctor himself after he sent his staff home early). I had such a fantastic impression of everyone associated with my brief experience, and the clinic itself. If this place were closer, I'd be an Eye Q convert. read more

The staff treat patients like the neighbors and fellow community members we are; so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Doctor was professional but the price I paid was outrageous. The first time I went to Eye Q Vision was also the first time I ever had an eye exam and prescription glasses. I had nothing to draw comparisons to so I was unaware of how overpriced Eye Q Vision was at the time. I returned almost two years later because I was not happy with the glasses I had purchased. Unfortunately, I made an even bigger mistake the second time I returned. Even with vision insurance, my out of pocket cost for two pairs of transitional pairs of bifocal glasses was over $1100. To add insult to injury, the prescription sunglasses were by far the most uncomfortable pair of sunglasses I had ever owned. I had returned to the store on at least two subsequent occasions in a attempt to have them adjusted so they could possibly fit more comfortably, but to no avail. I was told that Eye Q would have exchanged them if I stated my discontent sooner. I stated that, since they were sunglasses, I seldom wore them, so I had no way of knowing or expecting that they would be so uncomfortable. Bottom line, I paid a fortune for a miserable pair of glasses and Eye Q Vision did not attempt to rectify the situation. Finally, following the advice of a friend, I went to Costco to replace both pairs I bought from Eye Q and I couldn't be happier. Not only are they MUCH more comfortable AND attractive, I paid approximately 75% LESS for THREE pairs of prescription transitional bifocals including a really nice pair of sunglasses.
