Our neighbors got central air installed by Perfect Comfort and they had nothing but rave reviews. So we decided to give them a call. Christian came out and did a detailed job figuring out what we would need and going through the options. He set expectations on timing for the installation and when he'd have a quote to us. Beside that he was just a nice guy and easy to work with. He delivered the quote as promised and the price was good so we decided to do it. The installation happened earlier than promised. We were grateful for this :) The crew that came out was mindful of the house and did an excellent job keeping everything clean and doing professional work. The system turned out great. I would happily recommend the team at Perfect Comfort.

Their price was also very reasonable for the amount of time they were here (9am - 1 or 2pm) Jim and Matt got the walk-through with who I assumed were Matt's sons being taught the trade. That was cool. My only gripe was that when I innocently asked about them taking away the old vanities, Matt abruptly said, "we're not garbage men." That really threw me off as it was a really rude response to a very innocent question. When I initially called them, I'd mentioned that we would need the old stuff taken away. Somewhere between that initial call and their arrival date, that part was apparently forgotten. After a few minutes to collect my thoughts, I said to Matt, "I never assumed you were garbage men. I've never worked with you before so I don't know how you guys work and what you're willing to do. It was cool afterward. They offered to take the pedestal sink and the toilets with them, then removed the drawers from the other two vanities and left them neatly on the side of the garage. Matt talked me through another minor complication which required me to return one toilet and pick up a replacement while they were still there working. All ended up working out very well though, as I found someone in the region who wanted both of the discarded vanities.

I called last week with general questions regarding my breaker panel. The Owner was very…read moreprofessional and courteous. His first question was how old the panel was, when answered I was met with, immediately, you need to change the panel - "a panel is like a roof, it needs to be changed every 20-30 years, even without issues". This seemed odd. I reached out to contractors I know and they had never heard that, but the internet has... so that's divided. The Owner, once again, was polite and friendly. He offered to fit me in for an inspection that he would personally do. This turned into him later sending a technician instead, but the inspection was still being done. The technician came out, checked the panel and then advised my wife who was home and was the point of contact. I specifically told the Owner as well as the technician, my wife would be the contact. The technician didn't even leave my drive way. Was literally sitting in it when he called me to follow up. I asked if he spoke to my wife. He said he did. I asked why he needed to call me. "To follow up" . But you spoke to my wife. "Yes". Then why are we speaking? He had no answer. I was put off by the fact he felt it necessary to speak to me as if my wife didn't get it. The technician basically told me everything that my wife already advised me of when she called quickly to let me know they wanted $6000 to replace my panel but couldn't tell her why. So I asked why. The answer - it's old. There is no danger, nothing imminent, the fuses look okay but it's old. When I said that seems illogical if it works, I was told I may not be aware that power isn't going to the house and lights might not work. I only live there, I think I would know if lights didn't work. But whatever. The technician also asked if he could follow up in a few days. Of course you can but why ask? "Because some customers feel that we harass them". Oof. That's awkward. They also have payment plans available, included in the quote should you move forward with the project. I immediately called for a second and third opinion. Both second and third reported my panel was in excellent condition and besides one fuse, didn't need to be replaced. They also quoted a project like that $3k less if not more but didn't have actual. I also didn't want to waste their time getting one considering I wasn't doing the work. Very nice company, but not for the work I need.
